Hotel Via Augusta

Super low quality hotel for the price. The Room barely fits a twin bed and the bathroom was tiny. No one in the hotel could get me an iron or ironing board… I’ve never seen a hotel without basic amenities like this, let alone at this price point. I would not recommend this place

I feel like the room I rented is just a way to get more money into their pockets. It’s a break closet on the top floor in the corner. Draw the curtains and the rooftop terrace looks directly into your room. To top it off I have insect bites, most likely bedbugs

Room was clean & had sufficient facilities like bedside tables, outlets, towels, shower. However, the neighbor was doing construction during my stay. I had planned to sleep through the afternoon, but the neighbor's were drilling. The sound came though at 40-80 decibels. For two hours. Eventually they stopped. The staff at the front desk had offered me a different room farther from the construction and at check out a 20% discount. I wanted to come back some days later, but they were full. :)

Hotel Via Augusta was lovely. Great location! I stayed there with my two children. There is a playground across the street, and a metro stop nearby. Felt perfectly safe. Staff was kind, professional and helpful. My kids were very happy with the abundant breakfast spread. My only complaint is that the first two nights the air conditioning didn't seem to work, I did not report this to staff, so they didn't have the opportunity to fix the problem.

A wonderful place to stay! Definitely a hotel vibe but the location is great. It was wonderful to stay outside the touristy areas of Barcelona. In addition, the staff is top notch!

Perfect place for staying a few days. The facilities are very comfortable, very clean, and the staff was super nice and friendly. The only thing that could be improved was the wifi, which didn't work as perfectly as it should.
