Nazaré Hostel - rooms & dorms

The hostel was the dirtiest I’ve ever stayed in. There was a used toothpick next to the bed and a random used toothbrush left in the bathroom. The room smelled like urine when I walked in. The view was amazing, however.

They OVERBOOKED my reservation, i arrived there and had no place to go. I had to go back to my city and lose a lot of time and money.

Honest review: Expensive hostel for worn down and mediocre facilities. The beds do not have curtains, nor shielding of any kind, so there is no privacy. The bathrooms are run down. It’s also very noisy, the doors and handles creak and squeak, and you’ll hear people from everywhere in the building.

Overall good. Friendly atmosphere but not particularly sound proof. No curtains and cheap dorm beds made me take the room alone which I rarely do. Stayed two nights. It was fine.

Not the most clean. Very close to the street, got woken up at 8 from construction. Hostel wasn’t responsive by emails before I arrived.

War eine sehr spezielle atmosphäre, das Hostel war ausgebucht aber man traf trotzdem niemanden. Vielleicht lag es an den Gästen, denke jedoch, dass es meistens so ist. Zudem waren alle Badezimmer sehr dreckig. Würde das Hostel nicht weiterempfehlen.

The place could use some renovation and was not the same caliber as the other hostels I have stayed at in Portugal. Lumpiest pillow ever.

The location of the hostel could not have been better, you need 3min to the beach. Everthing was really clean and the people were really friendly and nice. But in comparison to other hostels is it quiet expensive for what you get, I think.

If you want a bed in Nazare, this place fits the bill. Not the most comfortable bed but I did appreciate that they had some storage room and a few outlets for charging. The rooms were small and nothing special and I didn’t find the hostel very social although I was only there for one night and didn’t use the kitchen which may be where everyone was hanging out. Apparently they offer free surfboards and wetsuit for rent but I hardly saw anyone working reception to talk to about this.

loved it overall. Let me check in early which is lovely. The host also had fantastic restaurant recs and the location was great. Wasnt the most social space but it was also off season and the hostel was 50% full.

Hermoso hostal, muy bien ubicado y limpio. La cocina está muy bien equipada y los espacios comunes son muy agradables. Cris es un excelente host y muy disponible para ayudar y conversar. La vista hacia la costa le suma muchísimo.

Mein Zimmer war leider sehr feucht. Dafür gab es zwei Gemeinschaftsbalkone mit einer tollen Aussicht.

Alles top. Super schönes Hostel, toller Blick aufs Meer. Sauber und tolle Aufteilung.

We stay at the hostel for two nights and was a blessed. The receptionist was very friendly and helpful what we can do and see around the place . The hostel is quit and you can get a long comfy sleep . I would like to visit the place again . Thank you:)

Cute hostel, rooms unfortunately a bit moldy

Had a great 1 night at this hostal. Staff was friendly super nice and the place was good.

Staff was very friendly! To get to the hostel you have to walk trough a small street with abandoned houses. It was a bit scary. It’s not possible to open the hostel at any time without a key/ or ringing the bell. Due to that I felt safer, but I wished that there was some other system to lock the room doors. You just get keys and if you’re not there you have to rely on your room mates to lock the door or also during the night.

Had a really short but very nice time! Everyone, staff and travelers were great. Hope I’m back soon!

One of the great hostels. Great little town, friendly staff, brilliant location, decent kitchen, comfy beds and cleaned daily.

Sehr gemütliches Hostel, sehr nette Mitarbeiter*innen und eine schöne Aussicht aufs Meer.

Lovely hostel, 2-4 mins walking distance the main beach and the elevator which takes you to the lighthouse viewing point for big waves. Chris from the reception is very helpful . Overall place is clean and there are lot of washrooms. Some of the washrooms have an amazing view from the window as well. Would love to visit again. The lockers are a big small but they also have a seperate storage room and the dorms have good space around.

Great spot close to the beach. Everything went smoothly. I enjoyed my time
