Tenerife Art Hostel

I dont understand why this local has too many good reviews: there was no light at the room, there is not even shower gel, not a lot of plugs, when I went to ask for help to the staff, she told me "this is not a hotel"... so I guess having light in the room is a pleasure we dont deserve. The thing I would remark more si the attitude of the staff: really judgy, and instead of working just critizing the customers, anyway hope this opinión fins well to everyone

El hostel está en excelente ubicación, justo en el centro de Santa Cruz. Buena terraza. Sin embargo, no me pareció bueno en relación calidad-precio. Las habitaciones no tienen llave, y en la de 4 personas debes atravesar otro cuarto para llegar. Las camas de arriba no tienen cortinas ni techo por lo cual todos te pueden ver y si prenden la luz te molesta directamente. Deberían colgar carteles sobre hora de sueño. Recepción vacía varias veces. .

The staff was extremely nice and helpful. However, I booked a 4 bed dorm but was put in a 10 bed dorm. The room was divided to create a feel like the area is private but the division is not full so its just the same as a ten bed room. There was no atmosphere in hostel, didn’t meet anyone but the staff during my stay there. It was not dirty but wasn’t that clean. The rooms face the main road which makes it very noisy throughout the night.

Les sanitaires, la cuisine et la terrasse sont très bien. En revanche la chambre était un désastre. J'ai réservé un dortoir de 4 et je me suis retrouvée dans une chambre qui donnait sur une autre chambre. Ma chambre était donc un couloir, avec des aller-retours incessants. Le dernier soir une cinquième personne a dormi dans la chambre (sur le sofa) car ils étaient "surbookés". J'ai mal dormi, le gérant a refusé de me rembourser une partie de mon séjour.

Super nice facilities and the staff are great! I feel bad giving it 3 stars cause it was mostly the people staying there that made the experience not great. I’m 25 and was somehow the youngest person there, and the other guests seemed super not used to hostel living and were way more inconsiderate than at any other hostel I’ve stayed at. Great place but weird bad vibe from the guests.

My bed had bed bugs - I woke up with numerous bites. I got them to change my room and woke up with more the next day. My friends bed was fine though so I don’t know what to say about that. Kitchen was good thought and terrace is really nice so mixed views.

Quando siamo arrivate c'era solo una ragazza volontaria da 5 giorni, lì da sola, i letti che ci erano stati assegnati erano occupati e abbiamo dovuto aspettare che ne cercasse altri. Si poteva pagare solo in contanti e anche il deposito per i bagagli poteva essere chiuso solo con una moneta da 1 euro, tutto ciò non era scritto da nessuna parte sul sito quindi abbiamo dovuto lasciare i nostri bagagli incustoditi perchè non avevamo contanti. Solo 3 bagni misti e 3 docce miste per tante person...

Love the location but the second floor beds in the shared rooms could be more user friendly. I fell from them :/ But besides the atmosphere is super chill and cool! The staff is very friendly ❤️

The Hostel is really cozy and comfy. The kitchen Equipment is really good and i loved the rooftop. For socializing not the best place i woukd say.

Nice hostel for a short stay. Well located around the center of Santa Cruz. Tram and the main bus terminal are reachable within walking distance. They even have a big terrace. Within my stay it didn’t felt that social, as there were no events or other travellera who stayed at the common area.

Fantastic location close to all amenities. Hostel staff polite and professional. Tram just 60 meters away (to La Laguna, or to the Intercambiador bus station).). Only downside, it might get very hot at nighs (no AC).

I have nothing bad to say! Felt safe, welcome, and the rooftop area is a nice addition.

Very nice Hostel! There is a kitchen and a rooftop terrace, everything is clean and well organized. The people and the general atmosphere are enjoyable. The lower bunk beds have curtains, so a bit of privacy but the 4 bed and 8 bed rooms are separated by open walls, which means it is more like a 12 people room. I'd recommend to bring some earplugs. The location is also fantastic, right in the center of Santa Cruz and easy to travel everywhere from there.

unfortunately we stayed there only one night. The hostel has amazing vibes and equally amazing location inside the city center. From only a short stay we could smell the "family" attitute of the staffs - very nice rooftop is a plus. The dorms room are well design to let people sleep chill in an hostel environment. We loved there - next time we will stay longer. As a negative point we found the bathroom not super clean with too little privacy - especially if you need to drop a big one in the busy...
