Me robaron todas mis cosas, mochila con computadora, ropa y objetos de valor dentro de la habitación del hostel. El personal fue muy poco empatico, desinteresado y nada resolutivo. Nunca me ofrecieron una solución. Además, la habitación tenía cucarachas. Una experiencia horrible que arruinó mi viaje. No recomiendo este lugar bajo ningún punto de vista, lo único bueno que tiene es la ubicación.
All my belongings were stolen, backpack with computer, clothes and valuables inside the hostel room. The staff was very unempathic, disinterested and not resolved at all. They never offered me a solution. Also, the room had cockroaches. A horrible experience that ruined my trip. I do not recommend this place under any circumstances, the only good thing about it is the location.
A guest I met had all her belongings stolen from her room, including her laptop and personal items. While the staff at reception tried to help, the manager’s attitude was unbelievably rude and dismissive. Instead of offering empathy or support, she belittled and treated the guest with zero respect, which was shocking to witness, especially in such a serious situation. My own room was okay but small, with limited storage space and cockroaches.
There were bedbugs in the all women's dorm. Location is great but I wouldn't risk it as I found a live one along many others that were dead.
HORRIBLE. FAKE RATING / REVIEWS. This place is disgusting. Old, you hear the whole floor shakes each step someone is taking. Smell, comes with how old the building is and you have to leave the window open the whole time. Bad location, right next to the street and you hear ppl screaming at 3/4am everyday (even worse when your window is open because of the smell). Dirty, like no one is cleaning the bathrooms. Why they don’t post bathroom pics Bugs on the wall, god knows where they come from.
Quartos ruins, em cima da muvuca. Barulheira atrapalha a dormir. Banheiros molhados e sem limpeza.
Ruins of quarters, on top of a mulberry tree, noise that keeps me awake, wet bathrooms with no cleaning.
BEDBUGS. 5 out of the 8 beds in our room had bedbugs crawling in them. The night staff was not helpful and just tried to put us in diff rooms, and tried to gaslight us that this “was normal for cheap hostels”. When the manager came in the morning she resolved our issues, which we appreciated, but this definitely ruined the trip for some of the people in my room. The manager also apparently told one girl that the bugs “always happens in the same rooms” so this is a common occurrence for t...

The hostel controls the aircondition, and and made it too cold. So every body is coughing and feel a bit sick
The only thing I didn't appreciate was being put in a room with a broken aircon unit. The staff didn't mention this upon check in and I didn't realise the aircon didn't work until midnight after I returned from my dinner reservation. It wouldn't have bothered me so much if they mentioned it.

Spent 1 night here after my camino. i had a good rest even though it’s in the city center, which can be loud. Well equipped kitchen and toilets. I enjoyed. Would come back for sure. Thank you!
My mom and I booked a private room. The room was well kept and clean. The bathroom had no ventilation, but did not smell bad. The location is great, and overall it was a great experience in Nice Way Porto Hostel. Would recommend! The only thing we didn’t like was the noise. The walls are very thin, and you can hear what other people are doing in the adjacent rooms.
Amazing hostel, best I’ve had, atmosphere in the social area is great lots of people and lots of things to do
Great hostel - good location, friendly staff. Easy to find people to talk to but also easy to have some alone time in the room. Only complaint would be how squeaky the floorboards were since you can hear every little movement, but it didn't really affect my sleep.

The staff were amazing - we had great recommendations from everyone we spoke to and they were all really friendly. The hostel was ina really good central location, and the room was nice and had good facilities. There were some issues with noise from the neighbouring rooms late one night, so just be aware of this if you're a light sleeper, but aside from that the room was really comfortable and we enjoyed our stay.

Perfect location
La verdad es que por estar por primera vez en un hostel, ha sido una experiencia muy buena. El personal de recepción de 10, la limpieza muy bien, los compañeros con los que he compartido habitación muy respetuosos. Volvería seguramente.
The truth is that being my first time in a hostel, it was a very good experience. the reception staff of 10, the cleaning very good, the roommates with whom I shared a room very respectful. i would definitely come back.
I'd stick some banners along the corridors for remembering people to keep quiet during the night on their way to their rooms. The rest was perfect! I loved my stay here.
Nice Way Porto is een fantastisch hostel! De kamers en badkamers waren erg schoon en de locatie van het hostel was ook nog eens top! Zeker aan te raden! :)

Sehr toll! das einzige nervige ist der quietschende holzboden, aber darüber kann man hinwegsehen, denn die unterkunft ist ansonsten sehr toll!
Very cool! the only thing that's nervous is the quiet wooden floor, but you can look over it, because the accommodation is otherwise very cool!
Great hostel, amazing central location, comfortable beds, great common area. Special thanks to all reception people ( sorry don’t remember the names) they were so welcoming and helpful. Only downside is soundproofing is not very good so just keep in mind if you are a light sleeper
lovely place with a great location. i was mostly out, but anytime i was in the hostel is was great. staff were always very nice.
Kamers stonken heel erg. Verder prima, centrale ligging. Dat was fijn. Niet veel met personeel gesproken.

Stayed two nights and it was brilliant. The rooms are good, facilities clean and very friendly staff. Nice atmosphere too, very social feel.
Excellent hostel - one of the best I’ve stayed in! We had a private double room which had lovely decor and a great size en suite. The communal areas have lots of board games and tables as well as a kitchen and well stocked bar (including cheap bottled water!). The staff were super friendly and helpful and the building itself feels secure as you need a key card to come upstairs to the hostel floors. Only downside was a lot of flies in the communal area / staircase.
