No atmosphere, didn’t feel that safe. Good location and kind staff.

Good place to stay in Rishikesh. Decent facilities but lacking atmosphere. A little bit more expensive than other hostels and not sure the extra cost is justified!

I've read in some travel blogs that the hostel is very social and offers a lot of events. However, I changed it after one night because it wasn't social and didn't have many events happening.

Staff was very nice and location was good. But I think the photos were a little misleading. I had a private room, and while the room seemed clean, it is clear it is old and needs major maintenance. Walls were stained, bathroom was moldy, etc. I don’t know how the other privates and dorms are, but if they see similar to mine, then the hostel consider doing a remodel of the rooms.

Nice hostel in a great area. There’s not much of an atmosphere unfortunately, though their balcony areas have great views. It says in their description that they offer daily yoga classes. This is false and the staff just directed me on to one of the many many yoga classes about town.

Nice dorms, nice and helpful staff. Very safe. Only negative stuff is that there often are much party-music until about 1 am. In the weekends there are live music in the restaurant, which can be nice.

Flawlessly clean facilities and building. Coffee provided was a nice touch.

Fine hostel. Good area if you want to stay in tapowan. Didnt have much contact with personel, but they were friendly when We checked in. They have drinking water, and a pretty nice common area. Didn’t have locks on the dorm doors, but there were big lockers under the bed.

It was a great place to stay with amazing people

The hostel was very clean but not the most sociable. Lots of activities such as the yoga classes weren’t actually running when we were there.

Couldn’t ask for much more, only thing was no main security so felt like anyone could walk in, but there were lockers so not a big issue. Divyanshu at reception was very friendly and helpful!

Absolutely top tier hostel. Very cheap. Lovely accommodation staff. Aircon worked well. The social area was delightful. Can’t recommend more

I stayed in the 6-bed dorm and had a great experience. The dorm was quite spacious with a large, clean washroom. The entire place is very clean and hygienic. The host is super friendly and welcoming. It’s also a great spot for remote work, with a nice café that’s perfect for working. The food at the hostel is delicious and definitely worth trying!

Amazing hostel in rishikesh. This is in such a great location and the hostel is chilled, clean and a really nice place to hang out. The beds are comfortable and have curtains, the stafff are very friendly and helpful and the food in the cafe is absolutely amazing! Highly recommend staying here :)

Amazing all around! Clean rooms, safe area and great vibes!! We came during off season so there wasn’t a ton of people BUT there was still events, free family dinner on Wednesdays and the reception set up a rafting tour for us! Anol is literally the best!! He is super helpful and knowledgeable too. I would stay here again for sure

The hostel is great:) We stayed in a female dorm and it was very clean. The location is also great - lots of cafes and shops are near by. The staff in very helpful and kind🌞

Clean room, clean bathroom.I loved the hamock set up outside. Haven't tried the food tho, but it's a nice hostel to hang out outside. They are also renting tents!

I loved my time at Live Free and ended up having to extend my stay, twice. The staff are all lovely, very friendly and helpful and Arpan took us out one evening to the see the Gange Aarti which was a really lovely evening, and I was also lucky enough to be there for Diwali, we had a Puja at the hostel which we could all join in with followed by live music. There was also music each Saturday which I really enjoyed.

Live Free Hostel is een mooi hostel. De kamers zijn netjes en het personeel is vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Anjana brengt sfeer en gezelligheid de andere jongen weet veel over de omgeving. Ik was er tijdens moonsoon. Er waren toen veel Indiërs die hier 1 nacht verbleven en de volgende dag voor een mountain trek gingen. Kortom: Goed verblijf als je houdt van gezelligheid en schone kamers.

A home away from home in New Delhi...When I first arrived at the hostel in rishikesh I was unsure due to the busy area. However, once inside, it felt like a whole different world. The hostel has a great vibe and is very close to the city making it super convenient. The rooms and beds are comfortable dorm available. The washroom Overall, a wonderful experience!

The best place to stay in Rishikesh. Be it location, safety or staff interaction. Extremely helpful. Feels like home.
