Locarno Youth Hostel

Il ne s'agit pas réellement d'une auberge de jeunesse, mais d'un foyer pour jeunes travailleurs. Vous ne retrouverez pas donc ici l'atmosphère chaleureuse d'un hostel, mais l'endroit est bien situé pour découvrir Locarno et ses environs. Le prix est un peu élevé, mais j'ai eu la chance de profiter d'une chambre solo pour le prix d'un lit en dortoir, merci encore pour ce surclassement ! Pas de cuisine où vous pourrez vous faire vos propres repas mais l'hostel propose des repas pour 19 CHF ...

Ein wenig teuer, wenn das Hotel näher beim Zentrum nur 10.— teurer ist und über Handtücher und eigenes Badezimmer verfügt. Die Miatarbeiterinnen sind top und sehrsehr nett und hilfsbereit.

Sehr einfach. Aber es ist sauber und hat alles was man braucht. Es ist verhältnismässig recht teuer.

Staff is really nice and helpful. It's a good place to stay just for a couple nights. About the restaurant (specially for breakfast) if you compared it to others Youth Hostels in Switzerland, here they offer just th basic.

wir waren sehr zufrieden und würden beim nächsten Aufenthalt in Locarno wieder zu euch kommen. Top Mitarbeiter. Ihr konntet sogar einen Parkplatz anbieten.

Molto pulito, comodo, in posizione tranquilla ma vicina al centro. Staff molto gentile, bagno immacolato, camera in ordine e tenuta benissimo.

Decent hostel, close to the castle and the city centre. The premises were clean and the staff was nice, even though they seemed a bit confused about which room I was supposed to be in.

J’ai pris mon ticket sur un site pour deux personnes et quand j’arrive on me dit que c’est réservé pour une personne et j’ai du payer un supplément, ce qui me rend plus cher qu’un hôtel. Je petit déjeuner était très bon avec un bon choix. Tout étaient globalement propre.

Excelente opción para hospedarse, tienen desayuno incluido eso es un buen plus, la estancia amena, muchos espacios para quedarse ahí como puntos extra puedes dejar tu equipaje antes o después de tu reserva sin ningún costo

I had a great time and would happily stay again! The staff were very helpful and friendly, the breakfast was good and the room and facilities were nice. The noise insulation in the bedroom wasn’t very good so I could hear other people talking in nearby rooms, but this was not a major problem for me personally. Also, check-in was an hour later than stated on Hostelworld, but I was able to sit inside and relax for a while before I checked in.

I only stopped for one night and slept really well. Breakfast was good. Location is good. Staff was friendly. From an hygiene perspective, I recommend to the staff to put blankets into covers themselves in dormitory and not rely on travelers to do so. One girl in my dormitory arrived very late thus slept directly using the blanket without cover. This is kinda dirty.

La seule critique à faire sont pour nous le repas du soir!. Vraiment pas bon et sans phantasmes! Clé n’est pas une question de prix car je peux manger à Genève dans un resto pour fr 20 plats élaboré!

Loved this place!! So cute!! Clean and for only 2 beds per room, great value. Since this is kind not a very hot spot in fall/winter I got put into a room by myself and I loved it. Nice showers and bathrooms. EXCELLENT free breakfast. And the staff were so lovely and helpful, I wish I stayed more than 1 night bc it’s my favorite place I’ve stayed this whole trip. I felt very safe and calm.

Friendly staff, nice rooms, comfy beds, bathrooms as ways clean. 2 min flat walk from St Antonio train station was amazing, and only 10 mins to the main piazza. Felt a bit more like a hotel than a hostel - there was a few family’s around and small kids running around downstairs.

Freundliche Mitarbeiter, das Haus sehr sauber, ein angenehmes Gärtchen mit schönen Sitzmöglichkeiten, im Haus nachts ruhig, trotz voller Auslastung gab es keine Engpässe in den Nassräumen. Das Frühstück umfasst super Brot, offene Butter und Konfitüre, feinen Käse und guten Kaffee. Die Früchte sind etwas einfach gehalten. Zimmer und Haus lassen sich schlecht durchlüften. Sommers steht die Hitze im Zimmer - gut zu wissen für einen wenig hitzeverträglichen Gast. ÖV Anschluss super. La...
