The service here is horrible, we were turned away service at the door after clearly making a reservation over the phone and through their website. We were treated like scum and turned away at 10:30 at night onto the street to fend for ourselves. They tried to scam us into paying way higher then they had stated on the phone initially, once we arrived at the door, they tried to take advantage of us and charge us over double what was stated on their website.

Me confirmaron la disponibilidad de hospedaje por wapp e hice la reserva. Al siguiente día me llegó un mensaje de que no tienen espacio. Les volví a escribir para averiguar qué pasó pero me dejaron de contestar. Me parece un mal servicio pues no son confiables ni atentos

Llegamos cerca de las 9 de la noche y ya no había nadie quien atienda a los interesados en hospedarse.

A pleasant 4.6km loop walking from the main square in Vilcabamba, with scenic views along the way and from the restaurant of this property. However, don't expect to be served! I had an incredible retreat at Izchaluma Eco Resort. The rooms are spacious and very comfortable, and the location is absolutely beautiful, with the pool and the grounds full of nature and wildlife like butterflies and squirrels. There are also so many things to do around Vilcabamba. De verdad que hay pocos lugares que brinden la mezcla perfecta de naturaleza y comfort. Las instalaciones a pesar de tener algunos años se ven muy bien cuidadas y son cómodas. Pero el servicio de Eli, es una cosa que no tiene precio, siempre atenta y dispuesta. Muy muy recomendable. Ojalá pueda regresar.

Excellent experience staying here! Do not hesitate... Friendly and efficient service, the owner Peter made me feel welcome. Excellent food and varied healthy menu offered at the restaurant. We had a peeping tom at our bathroom window during the night. Of course, the hotel cannot control how some guests choose to behave. However, the way the situation was handled was absolutely unacceptable. The only competent person in this case was the security guard, who immediately searched the adjacent "forest" area after the incident to see if the individual was still there. Booked for 3 nights and stayed for 4! Izhcayluma is truly a place of peace and serenity. Everything about our recent stay at Izhcayluma was excellent. My room was private,clean and orderly. Staff were friendly and helpful. Meals were all good. Stayed three days. Local hiking trails and walk to town left more to be desired.
