+ The location of the hotel is good
- The staff, service, facilities and food. It’s super overrated.
+ The dorm room is located on the ground level and it smells funky and not very inviting. They will also charge A LOT for little things like laundry, extra fee for water in buffet, etc.
- The stay wasn't so bad until the hotel manager (smaller framed man) did something very wrong which led to me filing a police report, him getting arrested, and an open court investigation. For this reason, I cannot recommend this hotel and please do not accept any offers from the hotel manager to take you out or eat/drink anything from him.
+ Location was great and the rooms are very nice with the curtains for more privacy.

+ La terrazza
- il servizio e lo staff non sono assolutamente adeguati. Non ci hanno informato che per avere l’acqua calda bisognava attendere 40 minuti ed abbiamo fatto le doccia fredde dopo un tour di 12h a Petra. Durante la notte c’è stata una festa con musica veramente troppo alta e non abbiamo chiuso occhio ed il giorno dopo avevamo sveglia presto per visitare Petra. Lo staff non ci ha cambiato stanza e non ci è venuto incontro in nessun modo.

- la gestione è pessima! la mattina ci siamo svegliati senza acqua nel bagno della camera, dopo tanta attesa non hanno risolto i problemi e sopratutto quando abbiamo chiesto dell’acqua in bottiglia per poterci lavare ci hanno detto che dovevamo pagarla (costo superiore a 5€ a bottiglia). sconsigliassimo
- Watch out for giving your creditcard details when booking this hotel. We paid the full amount of the room when checking in and after we left, we noticed that they had charged another transaction to our creditcard. When asking what this is, they told us that this is for the dinner at the hotel. However, we never had dinner at this hotel neither did we tell them we wanted to have dinner there. If possible, don’t stay here!
wtf nie wieder. Niemals 3 Sterne Hostel oder gar Hotel. Wir haben 3 Betten in einem 4er Dorm vorab gebucht und wurden dann aber in unterschiedliche Räume aufgeteilt. Das, obwohl noch weitere Zimmer frei waren. Keine Erstattung und kein Angebot uns irgendwie entgegenzukommen. Sondern Lügen, das es ausgebucht ist. Abgesehen davon auch wenn alles geklappt hätte einfach zu teuer für was es bietet. Wirkt wie ein Kettenhotel.
wtf never again. Niemals 3 Star Hostel or gar Hotel. We had booked 3 Beds in a 4er Dorm earlier and then were split up into different rooms. This, although there were still more rooms available. No refund and no offer to meet us somehow. But lies, that it is overbooked. Besides that even if everything had worked out it would have been just too expensive for what it offers. It works like a Chain Hotel.
Staff scammed us to get more money. Do not trust then
+ the lobby and the people at the reception were good, helpful but the hotel is bad, it is not their fault!
- The rooms on floor 1 were not clean, and the bathroom smiles bad, and insects on the bed, then when they moved us to the 6th floor, the rooms were ok (not great) but the bathroom smiles really bad after usage, also water pressure was very very week!! bad experience after all!

+ The staff were exceptionally efficient, friendly, and always willing to help. A special thank you to Hamam, who kindly assisted us in arranging transportation （sorry it took me a while to leave the comment). We really appreciated the extra effort. The views were beautiful, and the terrace was a wonderful place to relax. Overall, a fantastic stay. Highly recommended!
+ Aufgrund der aktuellen Situation waren wir die einzigen Gäste. Aber das Hotel hatte dennoch für uns geöffnet. Das gesamte Personal war sehr zuvorkommend. Bei Fragen und Wünschen wurde uns direkt und kompetent geholfen. Rasoul, der Hausherr, erkundigte sich regelmäßig nach unserem Befinden und erfragte mögliche Unklarheiten oder Wünsche. Das Essen war ebenfalls sehr gut. Wir hatten, der Lage geschuldet, unseren persönlichen Koch. Besonders ist auch die Rooftop-Bar mit einem fantastischen Blick auf die Felsenstadt. Einen bleibenden Eindruck hinterlässt der Sonnenuntergang von dieser Terrasse.
- Wer einen schönen Ausblick wünscht, muss mit einem entsprechenden Aufstieg rechnen. Der Einzige Nachteil ist also gleichzeitig der Vorteil dieses Hotels.
+ Everything was perfect including the room,fasilities,breakfast and dinner.The room was very comfortable,clean and you have everything you need. Location is excellent ,you don’t have to take a car to go to Petra.I’s very close with the tourist visitor center. The restaurant felt very traditional and beautiful with delicious traditional food cooked by the best chef🙂 The staff was the top of all,they were amazing,they even helped us when we needed and they didn’t have to. Nomads hotel thank you for making our trip unforgettable 🫶🏼See you next time

+ The views from the property, along with the rooms. Good water pressure and the AC got warm quickly during the cold night. The staff was exceptional even going as far as to request to kitchen make me a lunch outside operating hours due to Ramadan !
- Location can be tiring after a full day of hiking Petra, bar was closed and rooftop balcony :( Elevator was out of service but didn’t affect me to much
+ A no frills place that serves a purpose for going into Petra.

+ We absolutely loved our stay in Petra. The hotel was wonderful — comfortable, welcoming, and perfectly located for visiting the incredible Petra site. The staff were genuinely kind and went out of their way to make us feel at home. Their hospitality made our experience even more special. But what I really want to say in this review is this: traveling to Jordan is safe, and the people here truly deserve visitors. Everywhere we went we were welcomed with warmth, generosity, and pride in their beautiful country. The local community relies on tourism, and they deserve all the support they can get. Petra itself is breathtaking, but it’s the kindness of the people that stayed with us the most. If you’re considering visiting, don’t hesitate — come and experience this amazing place for yourself. 🇯🇴✨

The place is a little tricky to get to on top of a massive hill! However once you are there the reception and hospitality was wonderful, the staff also communicated in English which I was grateful for, they helped me to change rooms over email, it’s a really lovely place with kind and welcoming staff, thankyou

+ Whatever request I had, the stuff fulfilled them all. Amazingly friendly, punctual, attentive team. I had several transfers, they were arranged promptly, in a comfortable and safe way. Very convenient location, close to the entrance of Petra. Would definitely recommend to anyone, who’s planning to visit Petra. Everything was just fine! My best memories forever 🤍

+ Endroit bien placé et confort
- Accueil au rooftop pas génial (on nous impose une place sachant Qu’il n’y avait pas de clients!
+ Great rooftop, rooms were clean
- Steep hill to climb but other than that, all good
+ Miły i pomocny personel. Pieszo do wejścia do Petry około 10 min.
- Mały wybór dań śniadaniowych. Szybko kończyła się ciepla woda w łazience.
