+ Nothing!!! take care they dicriminate for religious reasons (not law). Update they insulted me in whatsapp.
- Update they insulted me in whatsapp, check screenshot. Being euroean and non religious they (women with jihab named Bilqis) kicked me and my friend during checkout for Sariah rules I supposed to have marriage certificate yes with my friend which I have 0 romantic relationship only becase she is oppposite gender and local. while the hotel have mix rooms. All this due personal criteria of the staff in that moment. We already had the checking but before enter suddently this person started interrogate my friend about us and if we married yet for no reason but personal joy and curiosity, once she knew we not married she kicked us not before continue with the interrogatory about where she is from and other quetions completely out of the topic. Is unreal. Is not sariah hotel and they didnt mention this rule in booking which breaks booking policices, I had report them for dicrimination and get positive support from booking.

- The room was very noisy. We booked a room with private bathroom and it had no sink/place to wash your hands
+ Die Lage des Hostels ist mitten in Malang und es gibt die Möglichkeiten Touren zum Bromo oder ijen zu buchen. Man fühlt sich nicht alleine und hat außerhalb des Zimmers viele Aufenthaltsmöglichkeiten. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich.
- Das privat Zimmer mit Doppelstockbett war sehr klein. Dadurch konnten wir nirgendwo unsere Sachen hinlegen, für einen längeren Aufenthalt wäre das nicht gegangen. Außerdem war das Zimmer praktisch komplett zum Flur offen da es kein Wand oder ein festes Fenster gab sondern nur eine Gardine vor einem provisorischen Sichtschutz

- The mattress in my roof was uncomfortable and needed replacing - the pillows too. A few coat hanger would have helped. There’s only one shared bathroom downstairs for five double rooms and this could a problem during busy periods. The location was somewhat far from city centre attractions and it was difficult to pick up a moto-rickshaw driver off the street.

Food lovers, this hostel is a gem. Located walking distance from a night market, the staff printed a personal street food map with their favorite bakso and tempura stalls marked. The rooftop terrace is ideal for late night snacking. Dorms are stylish with industrial decor and comfy mattresses. My only issue was the hot water in the upstairs shower, which took forever to arrive and never got truly hot. A plumbing tune up would make the post-market showers much more pleasant.
I absolutely adored my stay here and already planning my return. Right on the edge of the famous rainbow village so you can explore the painted alleyways before the crowds arrive. The hostel itself is covered in joyful murals inside and out, making the whole space feel vibrant and alive. The owner is an absolute legend who sat with us for an hour mapping out a custom waterfall route that ended up being our favourite day in Java. Absolutely loved this place! The rooftop terrace has an amazing view of the mountains, perfect for morning coffee. Dorm beds have privacy curtains and individual reading lights small details that make a huge difference. Staff organized a group trip to Bromo and it was seamless.
Very sweet hostel! The rooms are nice and clean, the common area is very spacious. The staff, especially Lia and her colleague, are really nice! They kindly explained to me all the tours they offer and helped me pick the right decision for me. They were also always open for a nice chat :) Good choice in Malang.
The place is amazing! It feels like a home. The bed are good and is very clean! Lia was super sweet and have a lot patience, she helpe out a lot. Love the stay here!
You can buy snacks at the crossroad. Dorm room has aircon but also big windows open if you prefer fresh air. They do a family dinner every Sunday for donation. Met two dutch girls and we shared a tour to Bromo. Staff let me check out late because my train was evening. Very understanding.
I booked Bromo sunrise tour through them and everything went smoothly. Pickup at 1am, driver careful on the winding road, and we beat the crowds. When I came back at 10am, they let me nap in the common room before checkout. The hostel itself is clean, with western toilets and toilet paper always available. They have a small shop selling snacks. The hot shower was truly hot, not lukewarm. Efficient and reliable. No complaints.
Great hostel, with the best people. The rooms are clean and comfortable. I was planning to surprise my boyfriend for his birthday and the staff was so helpful! While we were out, they decorated the room, got a cake (as a gift from them) sang a song and planned the whole thing. They are the best people! Also always open for a nice chat! The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, with beautifully designed interiors and plenty of chill spots. The beds are comfortable, clean, and come with privacy curtains. Staff go above and beyond super friendly and always ready to help with tour bookings or local recommendations. Strong Wi-Fi are great bonuses. Loved my time at this Malang hostel! The garden area is peaceful and perfect for relaxing. Every bed has its own lamp, USB port, and sturdy curtain. The staff gave great recommendations for local food and the nearby waterfalls. Free drinking water and tea were always available. Breakfast included fresh fruit and pancakes. If you’re looking for a party hostel in Malang, this is probably the closest thing you’ll find. They host a family dinner every night which is a great way to meet people, followed by drinking games and sometimes even live acoustic music. I met so many awesome backpackers here from all over the world. The atmosphere is electric and the staff party right along with you, which is fun.
The hostel had a vibrant common lounge, filled with books and board games. It was easy to connect with other travelers. The rooms were clean and comfortable, with everything I needed for a pleasant stay. The staff were helpful and friendly, making sure I had a great experience in Malang.
Bromo Breeze was such a lovely stay during our time in Malang! The property seems to be on the newer side, that or they just do an amazing job to keep it excellent and clean! The staff were nothing short of friendly, helpful, and accommodating and were always happy to fulfill our needs. The hostel has everything you need: clean rooms and bathrooms, amazing communal kitchen and chilling areas, and trip packages to make your planning in East Java so easy. Seriously could not have asked for more!:)
I loved the balance between privacy and social spaces here. The dorms were quiet and restful, while the lounge was perfect for meeting new people. The staff were attentive and always smiling, which made the stay even better. I left with great memories and new friends.

What I enjoyed most was the social vibe. The hostel organized fun activities that helped me meet new friends from around the world. It was more than just a place to sleep it was an experience.
Lovely clean hostel. Great services provided and beautiful staff running the place- we shared an amazing local meal together and they really looked after me. They were super attentive on the WhatsApp channel and made my stay really easy. I couldn’t recommend this place more
What a gorgeous hostel and incredible staff. We arrived late and they made sure we could still check in. The hostel provides tons of recommendations for food, bikes, activities. The staff is so friendly and helpful, explained all the tours to us and made sure we had everything we needed. The hostel itself had everything you need, including a full kitchen and clean bathrooms.
+ The hostel was a real surprise, so clean. We had a double bed, very comfortable. Room had a good fan which did help with sleeping. Had a small kitchen for all to use so you could cook a simple meal. Tea and coffee was free for all travellers and water filter was always available. They had a shared bathroom which was constantly being cleaned during the day. They also arranged tours at the front desk.

Très bon hostel si vous voulez faire le mont bromo, les espaces extérieurs, cuisine etc sont vraiment biens et le personnel est top, seul bémol, dans ma chambre il n’y avait pas d’air conditionné mais seulement des ventilateurs et il faisait très très chaud !!
