Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist enttäuschend: veraltete Ausstattung, mangelhafte Renovierung, Schimmel im Bad sowie eine übel riechende, fensterlose Toilette. Zudem beeinträchtigen die hellhörigen Wände den Aufenthalt erheblich.
The price-performance ratio is disappointing: outdated equipment, poor renovation, Schimmel im Bad as well as a foul-smelling, windowless toilet.
Horrible staff. Awful rooms. Melissa is a disgusting person and should never be allowed to serve another customer. I have never been treated so badly. DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!
Ziemlich schitterer Zustan des Hotels und der Zimmer. Bei diesem Preis hätte ich einen höheren Standard erwartet. Der Boden im Hotelzimmer war beim Bezug klebrig, der Tisch nicht gereinigt. In der Toilette roch es nach zwei Tagen ziemlich übel. Zudem hatte es im Zimmer Ameisen. Alles in allem: eine Enttäuschung.
The hotel room was pretty good. the floor in the hotel room was sticky when I was cleaning, the table was not cleaned. the toilet smelled pretty bad after two days. it had ants in the room. all in all: a disappointment.
Not the best hostel by a long way! Overall very shabby and run down, beds were very squeaky and holes in sheet. We didn’t really know what to do at breakfast and then the staff seemed to get very stressed people had helped themselves. The breakfast itself wasn’t very good, lots of packed stuff shoved in a tray.
une toute petite chambre avec une fenêtre pourvu d un seul rideau vieillot et un dessus de lit avec des taches douteuses n oublions pas le matelas avec de grands cheveux et sur la couette il y avait une trace marron on a vu ça le lendemain et je vous laisse deviner ce que c était !! La palme d'or revient à la douche miniature qui n avait pas de pommeau de douche hallucinant point positif on peut faire pipi se laver les dents et laver ses pieds dans la douche .... bruyant fuyez
a very small bedroom with a window with only one old curtain and a bed with dubious stains n let's not forget the mattress with long hair and on the quilt there was a brown trace we saw this the next day and I'll let you guess what it was !! the golden palm goes to the miniature shower that didn't have a shower head hallucinating positive point one can pee brush their teeth and wash their feet in the shower .... noisy run away
Il faudrait VRAIMENT rénové les chambres , carreaux de la salle de bain manquant par endroit, moisissures par dessus ect... Pas de TV dans les chambres... Et la propriété reste à désirée... Emplacement parfait.
Great position if you want to live and discover Montmartre! On top of that, the place is definitely overpriced: no lift at all (I was at fourth floor), no lockers in the 4 mixed beed rooms (just very small lockers at ground floor), no towels available, heating system switched off, very light blanket available and no possibility to have more, poor fornitures in general. Shall I add something?
It was nice and clean, but we weren't able to use the kitchen (which we didn't know before). Also a staff member just walked into our (privat) room 30min after we checked in. The communication between the staff member generally interesting since it took the reception over 5min to figure out if our room is ready.
This falls into what I categorise as "It's somewhere to put my head!" The pictures are very dated and as such it doesn't look as colourful as the pictures make it out to be. There is no lift so bear that in mind when you pack! We got lucky and they put us on the first floor but if you have mobility issues I'd call ahead. The room was basic but adequate for our needs. There's no tv (but I've not been to a hostel with one personally). The air con could probably be used as a fridge (lovely...
It said it had cooking facilities but it doesn’t anymore. Doesn’t really look like pictures. But felt safe and was clean, in amazing location too.

It was nice and clean, but we weren't able to use the kitchen (which we didn't know before). Also a staff member just walked into our (privat) room 30min after we checked in. Está muy cerca de la estación del metro, muy cerca de la iglesia del Sagrado Corazón, si buscas comodidad de manera económica, estación un excelente lugar, cerca hay un supermercado, bares.
It is very close to the metro station, very close to the Sagrado Corazón church, if you are looking for convenience in an economical way, the station an excellent location, nearby there is a supermarket, bars.

This hostel is in a good location close to 2 metro lines, the hostel itself doesn’t have any atmosphere or much of a communal area, I wouldn’t recommend for social solo travellers, the breakfast looked basic I wouldn’t bother. But it’s clean enough to reflect its price which I was happy with as I stayed in a private room for the weekend with my partner.

Das Montclair ist Gut gelegen in Fußweite vom Montmartre und insgesamt sehr einfach. Die Zimmer sind sehr klein (üblich in Paris) und auch die Installationen (Elektro und Sanitär) sind definitiv sanierungswürdig - Schimmel inklusive. Ansonsten ist aber alles sauber. Störend ist in den unteren Geschossen die Lage zum Innenhof auf dem stets geraucht wird und es zieht sowohl in den Frühstücksraum als auch in die Zimmer. Lüften ist so für Nichtraucher fast unmöglich. Das Frühstück ist OK...
The Montclair is well located at a short distance from Montmartre and overall very simple. The rooms are very small (common in Paris) and also the installations (Electrical and sanitary) are definitely worth renovating - Mold included. Ansonsten is clean, but everything is clean. Störend is in the lower floors the location to the Inner Court on which smoking is always done and it is easy to see both in the breakfast room and the rooms. Air is so fast impossible for non-smokers. The breakfast is...

Overall we were happy with our choice of hostel for the three mid-week nights we spent there. The location was ideal for a family of four wanting to see the sites. The premises have seen better days, and the pictures are no longer representative, unfortunately. Our room, the bathroom in particular, could have done with some freshening up! There are no kitchen facilities any longer, which didn’t bother us too much, but to not have the option was a shame. The staff were friendly.
Great hostel, with lovely staff who were both patient with our attempts to speak french, and also happily assisted in english where necessary! Facilities were great for a hostel: hair dryer, towels, soap/shampoo all provided, which simplified our stay loads. Location is amazing, and incredibly close to the beautiful Montmartre area, and has lots of metro stations nearby for commuting into the centre of the city.
Really lovely family en-suite room! Staff were kind and helpful. Comfortable beds and good bathrooms. Amazing location!
This place is pretty bleak. Positives are that it is cheap, well located and mostly clean (although the shower had a lot of mould). It is between two good metro lines and in a nice area of the city. The bathrooms are awful. The shower is on a timer so you only get 20 seconds of water at a time, and there is no shower head so it's just an open faucet spraying at you. There is no common area so it's not really a hostel. I would only suggest staying here is you have a strict budget.
Overall, very satisfied with the location, you can arrive in 30 minutes to downtown Paris to see all the attractions, it was a safe neighborhood, even at night, we came back twice after midnight in metro, super secure. It was super clean, bed sheets white as snow, bathroom clean and smelling good, big windows. Very nice staff that was bilingual. Very happy for what I got with what I paid. If I ever come back to Paris, I will stay here again.

Die Küche ist praktisch nicht benutzbar - es hat keine Austattung (Pfannen, Gabeln, ...etc.).
The kitchen is practically not usable - it has no equipment (Pfannen, Gabeln, ...etc.).
Endroit sympa. Un peu bruitant, les portes n’insonorisent pas.
It's a nice place, a little noisy, the doors are not soundproof.

hostel is in a nice area, but 3 bed room was very tiny, not in best condition- aircondition also not working. no room for our stuff. friendly stuff and clean.
