Definitely don’t stay here. It’s dirty and smells like an old people’s home. There’s 0 signs so it’s difficult to find. There’s NO WiFi It looks nothing like the pictures. It looks like someone’s just put bunkbeds in there living room
had to leave not safe for women. door doesn’t lock. no lockers for bags. no reception.
I simply could not get into this hostel. The phone number that was provided did not work. They did not answer to my email, they did not open the door for me, so I switched to a different hostel.
The place is actually a living room turned to be a dormitory room with four bunk beds. The most annoying thing is the noise from outside cobblestone street which is directly behind the room, making it hard to have a good sleep. There’s a broken jalousie and there’s no curtain next to my bed and the morning light in summer comes directly inside. The bedsheets and towel are smelly and I got no proper blanket ( one I got is just a thin cloth as big as a bedsheet and I felt cold at night.
No heater during the winter.
Definitely past ones prime! It’s more like an apartment with several beds not a hostel and everything is got on in years and looks way different from the pictures. Sauna is 50€ to use and the living room doesn’t exist anymore. Furthermore it’s dirty, smelly and there’s already mold the bathroom. I also wouldn’t recommend to go there in colder days since there is no heating. The only positive thing to say about it is the location which is right in the cute old town.
The hostel is A large room with 6 beds, a kitchen, a bathroom and a shower. For 6 people is fine, although The receptionist does not speak anything of anything of English. I do not know if she knows the city since she did not know how to give me any advice. It would be fine to help the tourist (there is an app to mark good sites, or you can print suggestion...) And the cleaning..pues..in 2 days I have been, she has never cleaned herself. The owner should do something about it, right?
This place is not really a hostel but a living room with 8 beds. There was no WiFi but the thing I struggled most with at this place was the hygiene. There was no soap in the restsroom, towers of laundry in the bathroom, the towels in bathroom and kitchen smelled as if they haven't been changed in some time. There was a lot of dust around, the bedsheets were old and dirty. Not sure if they were changed for every new guest. +: very central, nice other travellers
Read the description: no wifi. I never thought to look for this bc all hostels have wifi. But hey they mention it if you look. Also no soap in the bathroom sink and all night people will bang on the windows to be let in bc the door is locked and they didn't take a key. It's a one-room apartment with a bunch of beds. Good location at least. Have fun!
We stayed 2 nights and I can't recommend it. it was dirty, not at all like in the pictures, a lot of broken, no contact person on site, sauna (apparently included) costs 50€, kalt (the heater broke), hard to find, the bathroom is broken. the only positive: the situation is good and the responsible person answers right in time.

No heater during the winter.
The biggest selling point of the place is the location for a relatively cheap price. In a few minutes on foot you can be in Viru and all of the top sights in Old Town. Unfortunately, there were only a few space heaters to heat the large living space, one of which broke during my time there so I can't recommend staying in the dead of winter. Good for a short stay in the warmer months!

It’s banger for the price. Quirky and it’s in old town so you can’t beat that. Unfortunately no lockers but your belongings are still safe but peace of mind is always helpful and no WiFi. Also no oven and microwave but you have a stove. Still a great price. Just in front of the Lithuanian embassy and no signs so look for a green door.

Outstanding place! Truly all you need and had the fortune of sharing the place with great people. Had a small issue with arrival but got fixed A.S.A.P. without additional issues. 10/10 place to stay!
This hostel depends on the people you live with, but close to the city central
Very happy with 3 nights in this hostel. The hostel has everything you need, and is in a great location. I'd recommend any solo travellers to stay here if they're looking for a place to stay on a budget.

Great location, cozy, clean rooms, and a nice atmosphere. The staff were friendly and helpful, making my stay very comfortable. Would definitely stay here again.
Good spot in the old town. Very cosy and homely. Olga was lovely and helpful. Because it's been converted from a home, there's not great storage for each bunk. Also no proper curtains on the bunks.
I had a nice stay, but I think since this is a one-room apartment, your experience really depends on the people who are staying with you. The hostel itself is cosy, small and right in the city centre. The cleanliness also depends on the people staying with you - the staff really does their best to clean up after guests, and come over, I believe, every day to clean things up. There is no staff at the hostel at all times, which, for me, was more relaxing. Add wi-fi and it would be 10/10.
more like an Airbnb, the hosts didn't speak any english and used google translate to communicate. The location was really great in the inner city and one of the only "hostels" in Talinn, kitchen is fully equipted, even Sauna and laundry machine are provided :)
Stayed at Old Town Backpackers in Tallinn for had a solid experience. The location is unbeatable—right in the heart of the old town, so everything was just a short walk away. The bad were basic but clean, and the common areas felt cozy enough to hang out and meet other travelers. Staff were straightforward and helpful when needed, nothing over the top. For the price, it was a great spot to crash after long days exploring the city.
Très bon séjour au Old Town Backpacker, parfaitement situé sur les remparts. Un super rapport qualité prix !!
Very good stay at the Old Town Backpacker, perfectly located on the ramparts. super value for money !!

My overall score could have been higher, but my disappointment was an extremely high price due to the fact that there was a concert in town (6 times the normal price !!!!!). the place is nice and welcoming thanks to the manager but because of the owner the normal price of 25 euros is still bcp too high for a place like this.... the manager is top, speaks several languages and you will learn bcp things about the city and the region !
