Banana's Camp

This hostel is really dirty and uncomfortable:( it is very not social and has like an asylum vibe.

Ich war nicht sehr zufrieden. Die Badezimmer und WC's waren dauerhaft dreckig.Die Küche war mager ausgestattet und hat nicht sehr appetitlich ausgesehen. Auch der Hostel Vibe hat total gefehlt.

We got to sleep in bunkbeds with three beds on top of each othe instead of two. The top bed was wobbly, every time someone beneath you moved it was like an earthquake simulator. Also many guests including us got our food stolen. During late night, there were ants in the entire kitchen, including the cabinets where people stored their food. There was one toilet per floor and there was s##t on the entire toilet seat multiple times. At least it was close to the train station so we could leave fast.

Il y a des punaises de lit dans cette auberge et les mesures nécessaires pour régler ce problème ne semblent pas être prises en compte par le personnel. Je ne recommande pas du tout cet établissement j’ai moi même du mettre fin à mon séjour pour cette raison. Je déconseille fortement

Terrible place to stay. After one night stay the cleaners changed the sheets on my bed and removed my items that I had left on it. When I asked reception why this had happened and where my items were they told me that i had checked out already even though I had another night stay? No help from reception getting my items back and no reply to emails. The fridge stunk and no atmosphere.

Unfortunately there are bedbugs in this hostel. Seems like there were multiple people getting bedbugs from here.

The location of the Hostel is convenient and the staff was friendly. The interior seems relatively new, but it is not very clean. The bunk beds are very shaky and there wasn't a locker for everyone in the room. Only the lower bunk beds had curtains. Some people didn't clean up after themselves and were watching videos on volume at night. The AC didn't seem to be working in my room and there was a damaged window which was patch up with some tape so no glass shards would fall down.

Honestly very expensive and for that price it is the least to expect clean showers and clean toilets, which were both definitely to less in numbers.

There were only two toilets per floor with massive windows and no blinds. The lights in the showers on my floor malfunctioned a lot which meant showering with little light. The floors seemed clean but if you were to walk from your room to the bathroom barefoot you will quickly watch the soles of your feet turn black. I found the other guests (particularly the older women) to be rude and not very understanding of the fact that people may need to wake up early.

No atmosphere at all, no activities, no pub crawls, no nothing. It’s more like all alones, but great location, close to the train station, and really clean

sur le site, l'hostel annonce chambre à 8 lits alors que dans la chambre n.2 il y a trois lit triples. ça commence mal.. puis, le nombre de cabines aux toilettes vraiment pas au rdv des besoins des clients, vu le nombre de chambres / lits par étage. les hommes, on est obligé d'utiliser les toilettes des femmes au rdc, qui lui avait l'évier cassé pendant tout mon séjour (4 jours). à mon dernier jour, l'évier des toilettes (mixte) a lui aussi cassé... bref, on peut faire bcp mieux

Solo un bagno per uomini per piano. Non ci sono spazi comuni. Comunque a Cannes le opzioni non sono tantissime.

Logement bien placé mais le prix annoncé par le site et le prix payé sur place n’était pas la même chose. J’ai du payer plus cher et l’hôte n’a rien voulu savoir.

Great location with walking distance to the beach, grocery store, flea market, cafes, and transportation

great location, a few minutes walk to all the best spots in Cannes! I cook a lot when I travel to save money and the kitchen was one of the best I’ve seen at a hostel.

Definetly will repeat !

I rly liked this hostel! Not the most social but if I wanna talk to other people you will be able to because of the nice balcony, living room and kitchen. The location is great and I felt safe as a solo female traveler :)

It was really well located and a spacious room. Not a social hostel and the showers were the same or worse than what would be on the beach. Also didn’t get a key for the locked shelf which I’m not sure I was meant to get or not? The location was the main good thing about this hostel

Мені сподобалося, я приїджала по навчанню, недалеко від міста зручно, персонал привітний. З мінусів холодно було бо працював кондиціонер цілу ніч, і незручно що немає нічної лампи. Персонал допамагав, якщо попросиш

Overall great experience. Stayed in the two bunkbed room. Location is great, security is decent. Unfortunately no elevator but the rooms have AC which is a big plus in the summer. Closet in the room doesn't lock unfortunately but I was alone most of the time. Staff was very friendly and accomodating. When showering the light went off after a few minutes so better shower quick in the evenings.

Good location and the rooms are nice enough. The main disappointment here is that there’s no common space aside from a kitchen in the basement. They say they have a cafe but it’s always closed. Nobody in the hostel hung out and the social element was definitely lacking. The garden seems nice but the mosquitos are bad and there’s nothing to do there. Would have liked more meet-up events to facilitate community.
