Bad management of hostel. No reception so if there is an issue it is very difficult to contact staff and find them. We came back to our room at night and our key was not working, we noticed a new padlock. They changed our room lock without letting us know, and obviously entered our room to do this. At the beginning we loved the vibe! Ac works well. But the shower was cold. The kitchen was not clean. There were maggots on the floor. We needed to switch to another room and nobody was there. They take really long to respond. We had no wifi for the first days. And someone stole my food from the fridge. They first took a bite and then left the empty package in the fridge. It was kinda expensive cheese so i was upset.

I had a pretty mediocre stay here. The room is alright and there is plenty of privacy. However the pool was dirty, the staff very hard to reach and the airconditioning broken. I left a day early because there was no response to me complaining about the airconditioning. Don't expect a social place to stay - everyone is very on their own. If you're looking for a budget stay with a private room, this place will do the trick. The location is a bit of a walk along the back roads of La Punta.

Nice and simple property. Mostly couples staying here. Staff were helpful and kind. Definitely not a place to meet people and party. Rooms were comfortable with good air conditioning. Only short walk to main strip, about 10-15 minutes

Really nice hostel! Very friendly staff and nice facilities! The rooms very spacious and clean! Only thing is that the locks on the doors didn’t work.

Very calm and nice hostel, friendly staff and small but beautiful property. The private room was clean, pretty and comfortble, the bathrooms nice and tidy. If you are looking for a very calm place and need your privacy, this hostel is perfect for you. However, I was a little disappointed because there were not so many people and not a lot of common areas. Good value for money for a private room however probably not the best for a solo traveller. Also the road to reach it sucks and wouldn’t recommend unless you had a bike. Pool and AC was needed for the heat so definitely appreciated that. Rooms had security codes however the code to the entrance was out of order so anyone technically could walk in. No staff around if you had questions or anything so definitely more of a keep to yourself place

Wir hatten einen angenehmen Aufenthalt. Allerdings verbrachten wir nicht viel Zeit im Hostel. Der Pool ist schattig und wirkt dreckig. In der Küche ist es düster und der Kühlschrank war bis oben voll ohne dass viele Gäste da waren, zum kochen lädt die Küche insgesamt nicht ein. Das Zimmer ist groß, in der Dusche läuft das Wasser jedoch nicht richtig ab, dadurch ist das ganze Zimmer feucht. Es sind nur 5 Minuten zum Strand, der Weg ist bei Dunkelheit nur zum Teil beleuchtet.

muy recomendable si lo que buscas es un lugar para estar más tranquilo y relajarte, te recomiendo que rentes una moto para moverte más fácil pero igual si te disfrutas de caminar todo está a muy buena distancia, mi pareja y yo disfrutábamos de cocinar y compartir pláticas con otros huéspedes

I had a pretty mediocre stay here. The room is alright and there is plenty of privacy. However the pool was dirty, the staff very hard to reach and the airconditioning broken. I left a day early because there was no response to me complaining about the airconditioning. Don't expect a social place to stay - everyone is very on their own. If you're looking for a budget stay with a private room, this place will do the trick. The location is a bit of a walk along the back roads of La Punta.

Seriously one of the best atmospheres and hostels we’ve ever stayed in. Aircon in the privates worked for us the whole time and the rooms were immaculate. Highlight of our stay were the staff! Our host Marthe, instantly befriended us and showed us all the sites that La Punta had to offer. Having someone with such an in-depth knowledge of the place and the culture was invaluable and we couldn’t speak more highly of our new friend. STAY AT THIS PLACE!!

Wir hatten eine super gute Zeit hier! Für uns die perfekte Lage, ein ruhiger Ort. Rebecca und Laura haben uns gut aufgenommen und waren sehr hilfsbereit! Sehr empfehlenswert!

Muy agradable mi estancia en OM Chakra, todos super atentos, te resuelven dudas, te sugieren lugares en especial Rebeca su trato fue de lo más amable y buena onda, me ayudó a pedir un taxi a mi salida sin duda alguna espero regresar para fin de año.

este hostal es tan precioso como agradable, aloje en un cuarto compartido el cual es un agrado ya que solo compartes con 3 personas más, el ac ayuda un montón para dormir. Rebeca fue una gran voluntaria, me acogió e incluyo con el resto del hostal, grandes amistades salieron de estos hermosos días en punta zicatela, precio/calidad sin duda excepcionales. no lo dude y elija este hermoso hostelito para sus próximos días en la costa

Family vibes. It is a small hostel, but the courtyard and pool area is perfect for the heat. Some places to get sun, but it's well shaded. Pool saves lives. Ive seen people say its not very social but thats not true. Yes there are less people here, but after 4 nights i feel like I'm saying goodbye to family! We had lots of good chats and laughs. Only takes about 10 minutes to walk to the main strip in la punta. air con was amazing. Gracias to Callum, Blanca, Romina, and Mona Lisa!

Om Chakra was a perfect place to stay, it has a relaxing atmosphere, with a beautiful pool, and beautiful common areas. It's near to La Punta beach and La Punta Main Street. The room was always clean, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. I recommend this hostal to spend a beautiful holidays, you'll want to stay there for a long time:).

Hostel is great. Within minutes from La Punta beach. Room is comfortable and the swimming pool is nice. A beautiful tree in the middle makes it right!

I had an amazing time in Om Chakra. It’s a perfect place if you want to stay in a calm and peaceful place but also really close to the main La Punta street. The staff was always helpful, beds are comfortable and overall it’s a clean hostel.

The dorm was really good value, the bed was comfy enough and the room was clean, but the top bunks don't have any sockets or shelves which was a pain at night. The hostel is very chilled, which was lovely, but it's not the best place if you want to meet people l. It's near to the beach and I felt safe walking back alone in the dark. It's not ideal if you're getting a night bus as there is nowhere to shower after checking out (as the showers are in the rooms).

Ich glaube die beste Unterkunft die ich in ganz Mexico hatte. Ich habe mich dort so zuhause gefühlt. Die Volunteers sind so super nett und herzlich! Die Zimmer wurden täglich sauber gemacht und ich glaube sogar alle zwei Tage das Bett gemacht. Also viel mehr als ich erwartet habe. Die Küche ist groß und sauber.
