+ La ubicación, tienes todo muy cercano, o las atracciones principales, si te gusta caminar bien…sino si tendrias que tomar transporte pero realmente vale la pena caminarlo ya que ves lugares muy lindos y en transporte publico te los perderías
- Es un hotel muy viejo, las estructuras estan muy deterioradas, solo hay un baño con 2 regaderas y de esas solo sirve una para unas 20 hab por piso mas o menos, los baños estaban todos maltratados, mi cama rechinaba todo, creo el hotel estaria bien si le dieran manteniento, por fuera no parece hostal, parecen oficinas abandonas en fotos se ve genial pero realmente si me hubiera tomado mas tiempo para buscar hospedaje, el precio es bueno pero ya veo por que :/ la atencion de los de recepcion deja mucho que desear muy apaticos nada de sonrientes, parece que trabajan obligados y asi podria seguir

- The location is in a slum area with people sleeping on the sidewalk 20 feet away. The room was advertised at one price and then they wanted to charge $73 for a room without a bathroom and shower, AND THAT'S A DEAL BREAKER. I have told your company I will not stay in a hotel with shared bathrooms and showers I THINK I'M GOING TO START USING HOPPER OR SOME OTHER COMPANY.

Great stay in an okay neighborhood, but so close to downtown that I found myself thinking “that’s a good thing”. I like to see the seedier side of a city…but in a safe and sane way ;-) The lounge was nice; the event…a trivia game was fun; the free popcorn/snacks and beer/wine was inspired! Pabs Blue Ribbon and box wine? Count me in! Close walk (.8mi/1.2K) from Union Station. Got to see the law district, commodities district and financial district. Overall, rave reviews!
Great place to stay as everything is well connected and closeby.
It’s approximately 20 minutes walk from Amtrak station and near subway, walking distance to many places. The room is pretty spacious and good size lockers. Big kitchen with stoves, microwaves, fridges, eating utensils and cookwares. Large common area on the 2nd floor with pool tables. Highly recommend!
The Hostel was in a good location, thats it. Women in my dorm were obnoxiously loud every night. One girl was constantly coming in & out of the room! One night I could hear a woman eating in her bed at 3:00am (if you decide to stay here bring ear plugs) the womans bathroom sink on the third floor had puke in it one day. The shower head you had to hold. There arent enough coffee mugs so keep that in mind. Kitchen was messy, sink was always filled with dirty dishes, nothing was labled. 4/10
It's a great place at a fabulous location in the very heart of downtown Chicago. Almost everything I wanted to see or experience was within a few blocks' walk. The staff was very helpful and welcoming, and rooms are very secure, spacious, and clean. Don't be alarmed by how close you are to the Chicago Loop's El trains -- they don't run overnight, and their noise isn't that loud, inside.
I had an amazing stay! The building was very secure, rooms were comy and clean, shared spaces were nice, lots of activities for free, all the staff were friendly and welcoming. I had no trouble with my roommates, the location is amazing. I have no complaints at all!!

Nice hostel with good beds, spacious rooms, nice common areas. As with most hostels in the US, there's no real hostel vibe as there would be in Latam, Asia, or Europe, but if you have your own crew it can be nice as there is a very good common room. The kitchen is a mess and most guests seem not to care about keeping it clean. They should enforce with cameras that everyone washes their dishes after using them.

Great staff but the kitchen, fridge, and one of the showers on my floor were broken
I loved my stay in this hostel. I attended multiple tours and deeply enjoyed every one of them. Only problem: the photos here on Hostelworld did not match my room. I specifically chose this hostel because in the pictures there were curtains on the beds, but there was no such thing in reality.
Greatest place to stay close to everything in walking distance
It was nice, the kitchen was very useful and the bed was decent. Sometimes in the communal shower the doors would be locked with no one in them, and some of the staff are a bit snappy and rude. Some of the tours and discounts are nice but some QR codes don’t work and one of the tour guides isn't the best at tours and some of them felt like a waste of time. I didn’t know where she was half the time and she would either give no info or would drone on about one thing for a very long time.
The room was clean, light, and quiet. The bathroom, with a separate toilet and shower, was spacious. Other guests were friendly and courteous!
Best hostel in the US
L'hostel est situé juste à côté de la Loop, ce qui est pratique pour se déplacer dans Chicago. En revanche, dommage de ne pas avoir de casiers à carte magnétique (et plus grands aussi)
The hostel is located right next to the Loop, which is convenient for getting around Chicago.On the other hand, it's a shame not to have magnetic card lockers (and bigger ones too)
Bonne auberge de jeunesse. L'emplacement est top, les espaces communs sont agréables. Cependant la propreté dans la cuisine était déplorable même si ce n'est pas uniquement de la faute de l'auberge... les chambres sont correctes
The location is top notch, the common areas are nice. however the cleanliness in the kitchen was deplorable even though it is not only the fault of the hostel... the rooms are correct
I usually stay here when I come to Chicago. The staff is always available, check in is really easy, kitchens and dining areas are huge, plenty of facilities, recreation room with pool tables is really cool, and the location is great.
