Sulu Hostel

Tiny, windowless rooms with no air circulation, unbearably hot and impossible to sleep. Paper-thin walls mean you hear everything. Staff are cold, unhelpful, and speak no English. Bathrooms are dirty, smelly, and have see-through shower doors. Aggressive fine-warning signs everywhere. Location ok but far from attractions. Strange vibe from staff/guests. WiFi unreliable.

Nice and clean hostel, but the place has no hostel vibe.

Nice hostel where I had a double bed room to myself. Issue is that it appears to be catered for digital nomads and so lacks a sociable feel. Seems like all the rooms are for individuals and so that makes meeting people quite difficult. That said, the staff were helpful, especially at my late check in, and it was very clean and modern.

This is a great hostel in Astana. The staff was helpful and courteous. Location was excellent and it was quiet. WIFI worked very well

Great location near the National Museum and independence square. Very clean, comfortable private room, great showers. Chill and laidback. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I enjoyed chatting with them. Spent a nice three nights here in Astana.

It was the best hostel in Astana by far! It’s close to a gym, grocery store, barbershop and many museums and monuments. When I go back I’d stay here again in a heartbeat!
