Room was not very clean and didn’t get cleaned when we requested. Expensive because Euro weekend. Room was too hot (no AC). Pillows uncomfortable

The hostel room was never cleaned only the bin was changed

quiet hostel, bathrooms and other facilities weren’t cleaned or restocked. not close to desirable locations based on price

Digussting and nasty place. They stole our money and didn’t refund us. The room was full of nails, a rotten banana and hairs all over the place. This also after cleaning service came by. Don’t rent here

Very nice helpful staff 24h/day with reasonable espresso anytime on your way out. Absolutely no kitchen, food prep/food storage facilities and signs throughout the hostel for no outside alcohol allowed inside (they sell some bottled beer in the lobby), also no laundry facilities - overall not the vibe I want in a hostel.

It was very clean, but it was honestly a hotel, not a hostel. I checked out before my actual check out date because there were no actual social areas to meet anyone, no kitchen, no laundry. As a solo traveler, I would recommend looking somewhere else.

I wish I had been able to stay but the hostelworld website kept changing the month for my reservation. I ended up reserving for the wrong month and I did not catch this mistake until it was too late. So I ended up paying for 3 nights and not having the pleasure of meeting any staff or even seeing the facilities.

Incredible hostel, would 100% recommend! Staff were super nice, luggage storage for 1€, rooms were clean and modern, bathrooms were cleaned everyday, a free towel, etc. Loved it!

Todo bien con el hostal solo lo único que deberían de poner son cortinas o algo en tu cama para tener más privacidad como en otros hostales fuera de eso todo bien

Overall it was okay. Staff was nice but seemed to be confused and lost at times, especially when our door keys wouldn't work. Hardly gave a solution for that except to split our group up until someone else called to fix the keypad. Major construction ongoing so be wary of the noise. The bed situation is also not ideal, two of our couple friends were separated and one of the girls was put in a bed that was attached to another one with a random man and staff refused to switch their beds. Not cool.

Absolut empfehlenswert Freundliches Personal, unkompliziertes Ein-und Auschecken, gut ausgestattete Zimmer (Betten bezogen, Handtücher und Fön), S-Bahn und Straßenbahn direkt vor dem Hostel, einziges Manko: Betten sind offen (ohne Vorhänge, nur leichter Sichtschutz am Kopfende)

Great location in relation to the s-bahn, museums, and monuments! I wish there was a common room like a hostel that you could sit and work on your laptop without disrupting people in the dorm rooms. The charging USB ports at the bunkbeds didn’t work very well and only a few actual plugs were in the room to share.

Good location, clean and safe place to stay. Though, it’s not a social hostel- there was no common area and the staff wasn’t that engaging. It felt more like a hotel where we shared a room. Also, the room was so incredibly tiny. I didn’t know there was a bed size smaller than twin. There was not enough bag storage space at all. Weird vibes

Hostel is not very social but perfect for a chill stay in Berlin on amazing location. The rooms were good and clean, looking very new. Although they don't look like in the pictures. Also I haven't seen a kitchen/dining area and communal areas with couches like in the photos. Rooms had lockers, although they were different sizes which is not ideal. I would also add a curtain and an outlet for each bed.

Très bien situé !La chambre (306) bien qu’il s’agisse d’un dortoir était impeccablement tenue, on se serait cru dans une chambre d’hôtel mais juste à plusieurs . Rue légèrement bruyante le week-end mais rien de dramatique . Personnel sympathique mais on ne retrouve pas l’ambiance classique d’une AJ

Great modern and clean stay— more like a hotel than a hostel just because there’s not really a social life but was perfect for the end of my trip when I needed a break. At the time I stayed there was no functioning kitchen so marks down for that but otherwise a great stay, well places by a tram stop from the main train station. Would stay here again.

Emplacement idéal mais bruyant ! Le ménage est très bien fait et les lits sont confortables.

Overall a fairly good place to stay for the price. Meininger operates more like a hotel than a hostel, so if you are looking for something social this is not the place for you. I wish the dorm rooms were cleaned more often, the showers and sinks definitely weren’t cleaned regularly and the floors of the doors weren’t clean at all.

Non eravamo state avvertite che lostello era in ristrutturazione, non c’era una cucina né un area dove stare in compagnia, reception al secondo piano quindi poteva entrare chiunque. Posizione buona e ottima pulizia

Nice hostel, we stayed here while there was construction in the building which unfortunately tampered the hostel’s overall atmosphere. However I understand this is out of their control, and we still had a nice time at this clean, nicely located hostel.
