A quiet backpacking escape amidst beautiful nature in Meppadi, Wayanad. I stayed at Rumi’s Villa for 2 nights and 3 days and had an awesome time. The hosts Nadheem and Majidha are amazing and very friendly people. Kanthanpara waterfalls in only 2 kms away from this hostel. They are also introducing pottery classes soon. Definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting Wayanad. Overall, i had a great time here and met some amazing friends, which made my stay unforgettable.
Had a wonderful stay at this hostel—it truly felt like a home away from home. The husband and wife who run it are very friendly, supportive, and always ready to help with useful tips. The campfire was amazing, with great conversations and a warm vibe. The interiors are beautifully done, making the place cozy and comfortable.Rooms were clean,well-maintained,and had all basic facilities. The surrounding coffee plantations added to the charm, making the stay peaceful and refreshing.Highly recommended!
La Rumi Villa is nestled in the heart of a haven of peace, in the coffee plantations, where you can see and hear many birds. The atmosphere is peaceful, disconnected from the world. We were alone with my spouse, because the season was over. There is no restaurant nearby, but the manager can arrange a Tuk Tuk for you or you can use a delivery service (which was closed during the Ramadan period we were in).
From the very first second I arrived, I felt like I had come home. The guesthouse has a warm, cozy, and truly homely design. The rooms and bathrooms are very clean, and there are comfortable common areas where you can relax and unwind. The place itself is surrounded by nature and coffee plantations, which gives a peaceful, calm, and welcoming atmosphere. The absolute best thing about this place is the hosts, Nadheem and his wife Majida. From the moment I arrived, they treated me like a friend.
