Global Backpackers Hostel

Die Leute von der Rezeption waren super nett und immer sehr hilfsbereit. Wir haben dort unsere Reise beendet, aber man kann sie dort auch bestimmt sehr gut beginnen und im Hostel dann auch auch z.B. den Ha Giang Loop buchen…

Found several cockroaches in our room within the first 5 minutes of arriving. Immediately went back downstairs to demand a refund. Had to quickly find another hotel that would take us at 10pm and carry the suitcases back down the stairs. Would not recommend anyone stay here as the mattresses were quite hard and thin as well, and the bathroom was one of those all-in-one bathroom types, with the shower and sink and toilet all sharing the same area. Not a fan. Wish I had booked somewhere else.

AC set on 25c so the ac never turned on. Room was stuffy and humid. Bathroom door locks were broke. Booked transportation to ha long with them. Charged me 350k dong for a shuttle the locals use which they paid 200k dong for. I even asked about the van when booking because it was expensive and the same price as a luxury van on 12go.

I arrived and the air in the room was NOT breathable, the fan over my bad was SO loud, the windows didn’t open. Normally I don’t mind cause it’s cheap but I couldn’t sleep there. Showers and toilets are fine, there you get what you pay for. Lockers are massive

This hostel does not feel safe, as three young female travellers we would not reccomend this hostel. The location is great, tucked down a little alley right in the main area. The staff were kind, however our room wasnt cleaned and the bin not changed in 4 days. We had people trying to get into our room throughout the night, and boys screaming on the stairwell trying to enter. We didnt feel safe - this could have just been the people staying at the time and may not always be the case.

Staff is not that professional but it’s ok. I don’t like the toilets and the showers it doesn’t feel super clean and comfortable. Breakfast offered is ok. When i was there it was not very sociable it’s ok to spend a day or something but not great for a long stay.

Nach einem anstrengenden Tag kamen wir im Hostel an, nur um dort gesagt zu bekommen, dass sie aufgrund eines Fehlers leider überbucht sind und wir deshalb ins Nachbarhostel umziehen müssen. Dieses war sehr ranzig, es gab keine Spinde und es war deutlich schlechter als das Global Backpackers Hostel auf Bildern aussah. Das machten zwei Freigetränke auch nicht wieder gut.

Don't go in winter. The hot water wasn't working and the since there is no door to the rooftop the showers were basically outside. Not fun in 15°C. The dorm windows on floor4 facing the central stairwell did not close properly so you heard guests coming and going all night.

Been moved to another hostel because they didn’t manage the booking well. Without any explanation and didn’t even care about that. I’ve been put in another hostel which was well located, OK. But without common areas and súper loud in all rooms. Definitely not recommandable.

Didn’t let us check in. Left us stranded The receptionist blamed it on manager. Manager blamed on the booking website. Terribly Unprofessional

Très bon hostel. Le personnel est adorable et fera tout pour répondre à vos questions et vos demandes. Le petit déjeuner gratuit est aussi un plus non négligeable. La chambre est propre et contient tout ce qu’il faut pour passer un bon séjour : rideau, ventilateur personnel, serviette, casier pour ranger vos affaires personnelles, etc. Je recommande !

We had a really Great time Here, really clean Roms and Comfy beds, and a really nice stuff:)

My partner and I stayed here two separate times. Great location, very clean and comfortable rooms and clean toilets. The staff went above and beyond for us both times, from allowing us to check in at 2am coming off a night bus to speeding up our laundry service when we realized we misplaced our travel card. The staff were so kind throughout the entire stay and the free breakfast was great! I highly recommend staying here

Great hostel, in a really nice area just outside the Old Quarter. Minh was super helpful and booked me on to the Ha Giang loop and took care of everything! 10/10 Will be staying again :)

Stayed here for one night. The bathrooms were really dirty and smelly. Beds were okay. Staff was friendly and breakfast was good.

Great spot in Hanoi. Loved the breakfast. Has free purified water.

Great location and very clean. The staff was amazing and so helpful. Anything you need or have questions they are there to help you. Great hostel with great tours. Minh and Duy were specially helpful!

Great location, staff were really friendly and breakfast was nice. My locker was broken and staff could not fix which was annoying in a dorm of 20 as had no where to keep valuables. But bed was comfy and private so did not feel like there were that many people in the room, slept really well here. Bathrooms were gross though, small and pretty dirty.

I had a great stay here, location is very good, beds are comfy and clean. and the staff is very nice. Nguyen, Duy helped are great!

Sehr gutes und sauberes Hostel. Lage ist Top und das Personal super Nett!

Staff were very friendly and extremely helpful! However beds were very hard and room didn’t feel well cleaned. Bathroom was tiny and showering in the private room required soaking the whole bathroom. No events or social activities available. There are better options in the area at the price point.

Nice staff, clean and comfortable beds. Location was safe for male and female guests. Free breakfast was a nice bonus. They have weights on the top floor which was nice for a work out. They assist with tours and everything felt reasonably priced.

Just what we needed to rest/explore. Stayed In 3 pax room for 2 ppl, free control of A/C, kettle, 1 big & 1 small bed. 3 minute walk from church, can see from balcony. Great place 4 phone calls. Fun chess set upstairs. Could hand wash clothes in upstairs. The 2 breakfast ladies we adored! Made for a homie feel. & Duy welcomed us so well! Great food and visit reccomendations! Very knowledgeable. Thank you to you all🤗

Meh is my overall thought. Was fine for one night but I wouldnt spend any more time here. Not super welcoming space, when i first arrived I didht even know if I was in the right place. Bathrooms were not as clean as they could have been.

Such a good location, lovely staff, not a social hostel if that’s what you’re looking for. Comfy beds and clean, good breakfast.

GREAT experience— very comfortable accommodation & helpful/kind staff! Wish I had known about it before I stayed in other hostels prior.

Overall really good hostel! Really comfortable bed, it’s big and there are shelves and space for your things. The breakfast is awesome and the staff are so nice!
