sehr soziales Party hostel. bin allerdings nach einer Nacht wieder abgereist (von geplanten 3 nächten) weil ich viele mit bed bugs Stichen getroffen habe. ich selber hatte nach der einen nach keine, wollte das Risiko aber nicht eingehen. manche hatten welche nach einer Nacht manche nach 2 nächten andere gar nicht. Ich musste trotzdem die 2. Nacht zur Hälfte zahlen. Hätte mir da mehr Kulanz gewünscht. generell hätte ich das Gefühl dass sie versucht haben andere Gründe für die Stiche zu suchen.

It’s such a shame that I have to leave a bad review for this hostel as most of the staff we dealt with were great, and the atmosphere was really good. Unfortunately we got bed bugs here, despite what management said. Our beds were checked and we were told it was just mosquitos - these bites were not mosquito bites. They then told us it was ants in response to a google review. Bad management and quite unprofessional. Don’t stay here if you don’t want to deal with bed bugs.

Honestly such a great place, the rooms don't have Aircon but they all have individual fans and you are so close to the sea and pool it doesn't matter. It was seriously hot when we were there so the pool and sea was such a blessing. Food is also great quality for the price and so convenient so ate alot there. Not really anything to do in Mu No so most of the time is spent at the hostel. No problem with bed bugs. The hostel is quite big so feels a bit cliquey at first but is fine. Sick place

Staff were very attentive and lovely. Great hostel for backpackers on a budget. The food is nice at a reasonable price. My only issue is the evident issue of bed bugs. From reading previous reviews the staff seem to be in denial about bed bugs claiming that only individuals are experiencing them when staying here. But this is not true, many people there were suffering from the bed bugs. Despite the bed bugs this hostel is brilliant, many activities to keep you occupied and social.

Had a great time here, heard about the bed bug but we didn’t have any trouble. Dorm are pretty basic with small lockers, be aware the music would be loud to midnight but everyone is around so really good atmosphere to meet everyone.

The property was very dirty, many of the beds had bed bugs which affected my boyfriend. We told the staff and they tried to keep it quiet, saying they would compensate us if we did so, but they never even sent any money. Cost a lot of money to wash all our clothes and buy medicine for the bites and they didn’t care. They just wanted to keep hiding the bed bug problem rather than solving it.

I really enjoyed my stay at the hostel, it was a fun atmosphere and the social area was great. I woke up after my first night with my arms covered with many bites (has been confirmed as bed bugs by a medical professional) the staff weren’t helpful initially when dealing with this but then later gave me some money back and assisted with doing my washing etc for free which was appreciated. Just be aware when booking this hostel and the staff will try and state they are only mosquitoes bites.

Great hostel. Nice pool and very big common area with beach front. Front desk very friendly and helpful. Rooms are big with many beds but got good sleep. Each bed has its own ventilator and moscito net. Def do the sand dune tour with them. I did not have bed bugs but heard other people talking about it. Maybe have an extra look at your bed before going to bed. More party hostel vibe but not too crazy

Great hostel! Ruminations about bed bugs but we were all right and didn’t hear anyone directly complaining - just people talking about the reviews some people had left. The rooms are basic - each bed coming with a fan; no AC. Genuinely the only hostel to stay in at Mu Nei, the others are not worth your time. Social vibe and made lots of friends !!

I would NOT recommend to stay at this hostel. There are bedbugs in the dorms, and even in the deluxe private room! Me and my friend stayed in the deluxe private room, and both of our legs were FULL OF BIT MARKS! We have also talk to a lot of other backpackers who have stayed there, and they feel the exact same thing! I would NOT recommend this hostel!

me and my friend stayed at on the 6th till the 9th Jan 2024. We are really upset as we’ve left with bed bugs bites all over us, to the point we’ve had to wash every single piece of clothing we own including our travel backpacks. We’re on a budget and it cost us each a fair amount of money to get everything washed on full heat to kill the bugs and eggs. We also got declined in our next hostel due to it. Great atmosphere but not ideal for staying unless you want to get bitten to death.

Good party hostel in Mui Ne. Pool was good to chill by in the day, the tour to the dunes was worth doing, and there was always music, organised games, and drinks in the evening. Beds in the dorms were basic but clean (no issues with bed bugs, and mosquito nets kept out everything else.) The food was similarly nothing exceptional, but was nice enough. Don’t come expecting luxury - toilets are very much in the main area etc., but it’s fun and reasonably comfortable for a couple of nights.

Loved this place, loads of games to play (pool etc), swimming pool was perfect, staff were all friendly and helpful. Not much wrong with this place at all, made for a great stay for a few nights! Ignore the bed bug reviews, none of us or anyone we met experienced them so it seems sorted now. Rooms were fine nothing flashy but did the job.

Great social hostel, ended up extending because it was so much fun! The dorm rooms are not enclosed so you are basically sleeping outside but the mosquito nets are great. Also no bed bugs, just regular bugs! Would definitely stay again

We enjoyed our 2 nights here. The staff were very friendly and there are lots of games to play eg. shuffleboard and billards. We did not see any bedbugs and felt the room was basic but very clean. There are mosquitoes nets but not curtains which was a shame. There is no air con but individual fans on each bed which I felt cool enough by at night. The rooms don't sadly lock which could be an improvement but I did feel safe. The showers and toilets are basic but fine too.

Absolutely recommendable. I booked one night but stayed longer. Fantastic atmosphere, staff and spaces. They have a very good common area which makes easier to meet people. Everything is absolutely clean, toilets, swimmingpool, bedrooms, etc. I was worried about some reviews i read about bedbugs, but it wasn't true! they are cleaning the bedrooms frequently and take care about it. I felt like home!!

Believe the bed bug reviews! 3 of us had been bitten after one night stay. The place could be a lot cleaner and maintained better like in the showers/toilets. When it rained the water dripped through the straw roof onto the beds. The staff are lovely and friendly, they have activities each evening and they organise tours and transportation well. I personally wouldn’t stay here again unless the issues above were resolved.

Was good for the sand dune quad biking but honestly stay as short of time as possible! We got there at 9pm and left at 10am the next day - we didn’t have bedbugs (although someone said they did) but I did have a ray go in my bag and eat some snacks - the toilets were in the main area so if you needed to use them at night you had to walk through everyone to get to them - the vibe was fun was the only positive

The hostel was very cute nice area and the staff was very friendly. Was just a shame about the bed bugs and in the dorms they was no lock for the rooms so anyone could just walk in. Overall the food was delicious and the free beer for an hour was great too.

*BED BUGS* - I should have listened to the other review. The reception assured us they didn’t have bed bugs, but after two nights, all three of us got bed bugs from the dorm beds. Look elsewhere if you don’t want bed bugs. If they didn’t have an infestation, the hostel would be great & 10/10.

The hostel definitely looks lovely, is very social and the staff is super nice. However, after spending two nights there i had so many bedbug bites. After the first night I thought it was mosquitos but after the second one I had so many bites it was clear it was bedbugs. Unfortunately, I only noticed that when I left the hostel.

Has bedbugs! The rooms also do not have locks so anyone can go in. It's a very social place but I'd recommend staying somewhere else and just come for the evening.

Probably the best option in mui ne, good atmosphere at night and offers relatively cheap tours of sand dunes (200k). No aircon in rooms and got absolutely eaten alive by bed bugs 🐛

Very dirty hostel, so many rats running around and lots of people having problems with bed bugs. Few things to do like table tennis, pool, table football but don’t stay here

it has good vibes and good for meeting people but the rooms are basically outside and the beds have bed bugs. I got bitten by bed bugs all over my legs even with bug spray

Stayed here for 2 nights but were ready to leave after 1. The pool and social area is pretty nice (minus the bed bugs on the day beds). But the rooms and the bathrooms are pretty s**t - rats running in and out of the showers and cockroaches everywhere. Very little security or privacy as the rooms are all bamboo shacks that share a ceiling - felt like more like camping. I’d also be weary of the food as I’m convinced I got food poisoning after eating the chicken. You could argue you get what you pay for, however this hostel has so much potential if they invested in the rooms and the bathrooms as well as just the social area.

The worst hostel I’ve ever stayed at in my life, we arrrived at 1pm and checked out by midnight that same day it was so bad. There are bed bugs, rats and cockroaches in the rooms. Day bed gives you shingles. Staff are so rude constantly. Weird vibes at night. Better off staying in hotel opposite for £3 more a night.

the social side of the hostel was great, the rooms were okay however we heard from many many people about bed bugs from the day beds and then getting food poisoning too, so we were extra careful with that.

Don’t stay here. The day beds give people bed bugs. The rooms have no AC and there are bugs everywhere. Stay somewhere else and come here for drinks. If I could rate it 0 I would.

DONT STAY HERE!! Had bed bugs in my bed so moved out after the first night, literally bitten all over there must’ve been so many. Also had loads of blood on my mosquito net right by my head. Bar is cool but just stay elsewhere and just go to the bar on the night, don’t risk sleeping here.

Mixed opinions: The atmosphere was great, had lots of games and events etc. But not having a curfew AT ALL, means you could be kept up until 4/5am with the music. The food was amazing!! But the cleanliness of the hostel was really bad. We saw rats running about (one went into the kitchen), shower water stopped all the time. Also heard a girl had bed bugs! Basically stay near this hostel just not in it.

I cannot understand the negative reviews here. The hostel is very social, the pool area really nice and every evening there are different events organized. Before I went there, some people who have stayed there, said something about bed bugs, but I cannot confirm this. The bed sheet wasn’t clean, but I asked if they could change it and they did it right away. I didn’t have bed bugs and in general the hostel was quite clean. But obviously the rumours subconsciously influence your opinion.

The common areas are definitely great and social but it‘s downhill from there. There were rats and very dirty bathrooms. Me and a friend of mine got bedbugs. The staff wasn‘t much helpful mostly. Also 3 strange men came into our all female dorm at 4 am and slept in the empty beds. Wouldn’t stay here again!

DONT STAY AT THIS HOSTEL There are bedbugs in multiple beds and the staff does nothing About it. It was very clear there were bed bugs in my bed and the staff said it were just musquito’s. They changed just the sheets and the next person sleeps in the bed with the bedbugs the next day without knowing it. The hostel is also very gross and there were rats and mouses. However the party in the evening is Nice but you can better stay at a hostel or hotel near ihome and join the party in the evening.

amazing place to party! Lots of games and a pool, super social. I did have bed bugs though :( it’s also so hard to sleep as the walls are made out of leaves and you are basically in a room with 100 people

My first ever party hostel and it definitely did not dissapoint. The staff, location and atmosphere was great and it is so easy to make friends. Simply charge everything to your room and not worry about carrying your money around. However, bed bugs!!! There was also a mouse (or rat) in my room and the doors to the room do not have locks. As a solo female traveller in a party hostel, this did make me feel nervous and unsafe especially when fast asleep and people are coming in and out of the room

I have been staying in hostels since I've been 16 years old (now I am 24) and this is the worst one I've ever stayed in. My friend and I both got bedbugs after one night here. They did know that this was a problem in the hostel so they immediately offered to wash all our clothes and to give us another room, but it still sucks to have bedbugs. The music is super loud until 1/2 am every single night so this makes it very hard to sleep. The staff also made several bill mistakes when we left.

This hostel has potential and could be so good. The social side is fun but the dorms are horrible. On my first night I stayed here I heard rats, when I woke up the next morning I was absolutely covered in bed bug bites. I told reception and got moved to another room to then also have bed bugs again. I spoke to reception and they told me they were mosquito bites, which wasn’t the case. Also a lot of other people staying here also had bed bug bites and since I’ve left I’ve found more. Don’t stay here.
