Bla Guesthouse

Le pire hostel de mon séjour d’un mois en Argentine. Tout est vieux, pas de fenêtre dans ma chambre pour 4. Chauffage activé en été, pas de fermeture possible au toilette. Le seul point positif: les jeunes filles qui nettoient très bien tous les jours.

The hostel moved my unpacked stuff to accommodate a religious need instead of telling them they needed to book a female only dorm instead of booking mixed and hoping for the best. They subsequently downgraded my room and didn't reduce the price. They were willing to take my laundry but took no accountability for significant damage done to the elasticine. They asked for proof via WhatsApp but never followed up after repeated inquiries.

Really helpful staff. We didn’t get to meet them, but they were very helpful through WhatsApp when our plane got delayed and needed help getting a taxi and getting in at the hostel after reception closed. Small rooms and the top bunks didn’t have a railing.

Weak wifi, toilet was always clogged, beds uncomfortable and shaky, some bunk beds had stair for the top bed on the side where person below puts his head, so it wasn’t so nice to climb to the second floor because entire bed was shaking. Accommodation included breakfast which was some bread, cream and marmelada and some cookies, you were able to ask for eggs too, coffee, juice, milk. Staff were helpful. You will get what you pay for, overall 3/5

Very basic, good showers, bed uncomfortable and WiFi terrible.

this place is well located but could do with a refurb and ideally putting fewer beds into rooms. The rooms are not big enough for 6 people and by the morning it definitely smelt musty. Showers were hot, if not super clean. Breakfast was simple but very welcome -- bread, cakes and hot drinks.

Great stay and decent value! The free breakfast is a nice touch and the staff were friendly and helpful.

The cleaning staff were really really rude. Breakfast was just taken away, even our plates with food on them. Kitchen has no spices and the bed was really old and loud.

great location, overall good hostel. the only coment is the fact that our dorm didnt have a window to clear the air. It was very hot and smelly as you can imagine with 8 people in one room. had to ask the staff to open a door they had to meke it better. other than that all fine

BEST HOSTEL -EVER-! Bla! exceeded my expectations in terms of welcoming hospitality, clean and organized kitchen, rooms with great beds and linen. What makes Bla! excellent is -THE STAFF IS WONDERFUL-!!!! Helpful, friendly, knowledgeable of area sites and restaurants. 100% fantastic hostel experience. Would recommend to non-friends and promote heavily to actual friends. Plus they play the music that moves me.

Loved our stay here! El Calafate is such a cute town and Bla was located in the perfect location near the Main Street and the supermarket. The man at the front desk was super lovely, helping us organise taxis and remembering our names and interest. Would come back again!

We stayed 2 nights in a private room and didn't really hang out with others so can't comment on that. Staff was super nice and helpful. Thin walls and moving cracking floors as in many other places as this is the style of building in this area.

We loved our stay at Bla Guesthouse. They were so kind, helpful and accommodating. The house has great facilities and is very comfortable. Highly recommend it!

A great option to stay near the centre of El Calafate. Would recommend.

The hostel was so comfortable and all the staff were really kind. The facilities were amazing and I would definitely come back. 100% recommend it.

Maximiliano on reception was amazing - so friendly, helpful and informative, when he found out we were leaving super early he asked the breakfast ladies to put out food earlier for us and sorted our transfer to the airport. Top dude. Dorms a bit cramped but otherwise clean and comfortable. Big kitchen and places to chill.

Très bonne option sur El calafate ! Personnel très sympathique et aidant ! Petit bémol sur le debit de la douche un peu faible et le peu de sanitaires disponibles. A part ça je recommande a 100%
