Hostal Casa De Arcos

+ La ubicación únicamente.

- Gracias a una pareja que nos orientó, pude comunicarme con el propietario, no hubo personal que nos recibiera, la puerta de la habitación no cierra por fuera, otros huéspedes tuvieron que comprar un candado para poder cerrar al salir, los baños están al fondo de un pasillo muy angosto, la fachada lo hace ver como un edificio abandonado. Lo bueno es que si me hicieron la devolución, aunque no inmediatamente.

- Impossible d'entrer dans l'établissement à 23h je me suis retrouvé tout seul sans que personne ne vienne m'ouvrir, j'avais bien précisé mon heure d'arrivée lors de la réservation ... A aucun moment je n'ai reçu de message sur une procédure d'arrivée, et l'hôtel ne m'a jamais appelé, c'est donc un bon moyen pour eux de se faire de l'argent sur le dos des clients. C'est une vraie ARNAQUE, je ne conseille à personne de venir séjourner dans cet établissement. Je n'ai jamais vu ça.

- No hay una descripción acordé a lo que realmente hay. Los cuartos están pegados y son pequeños. Menciona que hay tv, pero no todas las habitaciones tienen.

- I have stayed in Hostal Casa De Arcos 3 nights total The manager Mr. Mauricio was seeming kind person! At the second day my new Columbia Jacket and 1 kilo black tea bag went missing from underneath of my bed ,it was very disappointing , The cleaning lady who was working Sunday, blamed the guests Eve I gave her 50 pesos as tip, but I’m suspicious , I tried to call the manager, but he did not respond. He texted me on Monday. But by I was already on the road. I left with bad memory

- Unfortunately, on 3 occasions, I smelled cigarette smoke and saw the employee who checked me in, smoking in the hostel. This is disgusting and unacceptable. Due to the rules against smoking not being followed or enforced, I recommend against staying at this hostel.

+ Comfortable, large single bunkbeds, large rooms that felt private despite many beds as the room was divided into three distinct areas, hot water, unlimited drinkable water, kitchen for use, TV to relax and watch at the end of the day, close to the historic centre, clean, large lockers to fit one 40L travel pack inside, main entrance was always locked with key entrance by guests only, lots of seating in the dining area or on the terrace to eat your food. its a good cheap option to be close to the historic centre and I recommend it for any budget traveller.

- Arrived around 9pm and had to push the bell multiple times before anyone responded, there is no reception and no formal check in/check out and was finally greated to a not so pleasant voice which gave instructions and verbally directed location of bed which felt a little difficult to find/remember correctly to make sure it was the correct bed as there was no one to check me in or show me the way around I had to figure it all out on my own. The showers were good although the pressure was quite strong it actually hurt a little, and during my stay someone had 1500 pesos stolen which is no fault of the hostel as lockers are provided but made me feel a bit unsure of the type of guests that may arrive as no I.d checks or records of identity were ever made and they couldnt do anything to help the situation they told the guest he has to wait another day before they could check the cameras. Lights are all on sensors so can feel a little bit creepy at night arriving and if you are using the toilet at night the lights will turn off while you are seated until you leave the cubicle again. Overall I enjoyed my stay and would return again. I feel like these are all minor negatives and it was good value for money and location being somewhere clean, with hot water and good facilities.

+ Super comfortable. The rooms were spacious and plenty of windows for fresh air. The staff incredibly nice. Big bathrooms with hot showers. Affordable Laundry service! Great location. Great value for the price

- Not social. But that’s okay, not every hostel will be social.

+ L'hostel est bien situé, pas trop loin du centre à pied.

- Hostal un peu sommaire (literie, bruit de rue, pas super propre) mais si on veut un hébergement bon marché et pas trop mal situé, cela passe pour quelques nuits si on est pas trop regardant. La cuisine n'est pas non plus super clean. Quelques produits de base de type huile, vinaigre, sel, etc seraient appréciables. Enfin, nous avons trouvé que l'hostel manquait un peu de vie, mais cela était peut-être dû à la période.

+ Ubicación excelente muy cerca del zócalo de la ciudad tiene cocina puedes hacer lo que tú gustes de comer ala hora que tú quieras

- Enfrente hay un bar donde aveces no dejan dormir jijiji son muy alegres pero dentro de lo que cabe todo bien

+ Me gustó la arquitectura , la ubicación es excelente ya que te puedes mover caminando a muchos lugares del centro de Puebla , el personal es muy amable y algo que me llamó la atención aunque no tuve tiempo de realizarlo tiene una cancha de picketball sea me hizo un plus que ningún otro lugar lo tiene ! Sin duda en mi regreso a Puebla me hospedaré nuevamente aquí.

+ La ubicación y que tenía todo lo que esperaba, baño, casilleros para resguardar mis cosas y la cama era reconfortable

+ Great location. Interesting old building with a lot of character. Despite being cold at night the room was surprisingly warm. Nice common areas, though not too many people when I was there. Hot shower.

- The kitchen is well equipped overall apart from one crucial item - a lighter to turn the gas on. The staff knew it was missing but never replaced it while I was there. It was a bit irritating that I couldn't boil water to make a coffee without searching out someone with a lighter. Lighting in the room is quite dim but not a big deal. When someone coughs in another room, you can hear it very clearly. Wifi was hit and miss. The bathroom was not very close to my room.
