Staff were great, however, the room was disgusting. There was no where for me to put my luggage and there was garbage all over the floor. I also did not feel safe inside the dorm. As soon as I arrived I was being hounded from an older gentleman about my travels and 21 questioning me on my solo travels. Needless to say I checked right out and went some place else. I will point out that I was offered a private room upon checking out, but declined because of the gentleman.
I had a small pocket fan on because the room was unbearably hot and the person in the room decided to hit my shoulder twice to ask me to turn it off it made hardly any noise and in my opinion was a totally unreasonable request upon them physically making contacr with me for the second time I went into the games room and slept in their for an hour before leaving. There was no staff in place to make a complaint and I just wanted to sleep without being assaulted. The room was smelly and too hot.
The only bad is stair too high and much, easy to lost way to exit, no staff on duty, difficult to seek help.
No 24 hours staff so partying and slamming doors carry on well past quiet time. In fact I only finally got to sleep past 2 am!
NOT FOR BACKPACKERS, NOT A HOSTEL. Accommodation for middle aged migrants with nowhere to live. Didn’t see a single backpack the whole time I was there, the room stunk and was boiling hot, and every occupant had multiple suitcases and giant clothes carrier bags all over the floor. One bathroom for the entire floor as the other one was out of order, so one wet room with shower, sink, and toilet, among four dorm rooms. too many indians not enough chiefs who can run a hostel

For one night is okay.
They didn't sent me an email with the booking confirmation - that made me very unsure if the booking worked or not. A telefone number was not easy to find anywhere so it took lots of my time during my holiday to find out if the reservation was right or not.
Overpriced for a hostel in Dundee, however great location and clean, safe place to rest our heads for a night.
The dorm rooms are crowded, smelly and the linen old. Cleaning is done by residents in exchange for beds and unprofessional. Kitchen and fridges are disgusting, crowded and theft common. Single rooms are not serviced for the entire length of stay. Front rooms are noisy late at night and early morning. Stone stairs are dangerous and the lift doesn't work. People sleep in common areas. Laundry service only. It's a hostel for poor international students and the otherwise homeless. Heating is good.

Can't fault to a central location like this. The square outside was a little noisy at night, but I managed to ignore that. If anything, the gulls outside were noisier. My room was comfortable, and well-appointed. I appreciated the fellow on reception helping me up the spiral stairs with my suitcase.
Very clean and put together. Friendly staff, but not very social.

Good location for my transport needs and has a late reception desk. Nice place.
It was a overall great experience and were very accommodating.
It was a cool property in very rich neighborhood but it seemed everyone staying there was in they’re late 30s to 70s. Not very close to much either and basically. No atmosphere either if your looking for a social place definitely wouldn’t recommend
Great place, just missing some bathrooms/toilets but since it wasn't the high season, it was fine.
pretty good hostel, Dundee itself is a pretty sketchy city so be cautious, but people here are nice and hostel in the city centre
Brilliant place, great location, great facilities.

The only problem I had was that I felt nowhere to put my glasses on the floor, finally I put it in my coat pocket, as the bed does not stick to the wall, it could fall out anywhere.If you can put a woven storage bag on the bedside rack, it would be very convenient, people can put glasses, headphones, mobile phones, etc.
Amazing hostel in the heart of the city!
Amazing hostel, safe rooms, affordable rentals, great kitchen, and beautiful atmosphere. Has an excellent reading room, games room, and dining room, is in a beautiful old building, is just a bit loud at night as it is on a busy street, but otherwise, incredible place. 10/10
Everything was great - super clean and well organised. I felt safe and my favourite part was being able to communicate with George the ghost. ABSOLUTELY AMAZING ART ON THE WALLS! The artist needs to sign their name so I can follow them.
Beau bâtiment, très belle chambre avec belle salle de bain. Chambre très propre. Nous avons été surclassé dans une chambre privé car il y avait un problème avec notre dortoir partagé. Tout était très bien.
We had a very nice room with a nice bathroom, very clean room, we were upgraded to a private room because there was a problem with our shared dorm, everything was very good.

Staff was lovely and accommodating. Rooms were clean. Super close to the train and bus stations!
I had a nice stay in this hostel. The staff were friendly, the house is really nice and the location is central. Sometimes the kitchen was a bit overcrowded.
Lovely place, there's just sometimes some noise from druk folks at night.
