- Le sommier du lit était composé de cartons, la propreté de la « salle de bain » laissait à désirer, pas de clés, surplus à payer si vous voulez rentrer après minuit. Nous avons dû demander un second lit car initialement il était prévu deux personnes dans un lit 90 cm et une seule serviette…

+ The privacy and the terrace

- Just the fact that every time in order to get out you need to call staff to open the door which is locked with two padlocks, that's very time consuming and it doesn't feel like you have a lot of freedom. The kitchen isn't equipped at all, again, you need to ask for catering, cups, plates etc. which can be frustrating. The shower doesn't have hot water, it's just barely warm WiFi is very weak especially inside the room

+ The staff was accommodating. They held my bag for free although in theory they charged 2 usd to keep the bags in a spare room.

- The place itself has potential but it needs investment. My main issue is the lack of freedom. They won't give you a key, and you will easily get locked away from your room if you get distracted for a second, then you'll have to bother the staff to get in again. You can't come in after midnight, so it basically isn't a hotel, you're paying to stay at someone's house and you have to check in with them every time, every time you have to come and go you will have to bother someone. That felt incredibly annoying to me. They offer a kitchen but there's nothing there, just a few pots that happened to be used and or dirty. No fridge. I'm rating it a 6 because in the end I've had a few requests and they've been polite and accommodating, otherwise it'd be less. I'm amazed at the 9.4 rating as of today. At this price level it should be in the 7 point something area. Apparently they charge extra if you need to leave your bags in an unused room they have.

+ Fui muito bem atendido; o hostel está bem localizado; o proprietário foi muito gentil e teve uma boa vontade prá dar informações.

- O preço da diária está acima da média em relação ao que o hostel oferece.

- Que el piso era de madera y que el baño era compartido. Además de que en la app sale que valía 12,65 y pague de más.

+ Mi experiencia fue simplemente excepcional. Durante mi estadía en Ambato, Cecilia y Jonathan fueron anfitriones increíbles: amables, atentos y siempre dispuestos a ayudar. Desde el primer momento me hicieron sentir como en casa, con un trato tan cálido que realmente se siente como estar en familia. La ubicación céntrica es excelente, lo que facilitó mucho mi movilidad y aprovechamiento del tiempo en la ciudad. Agradezco mucho toda la información que me brindaron sobre lugares para visitar y recomendaciones sobre qué comer; sus consejos hicieron que mi experiencia en la ciudad fuera mucho más enriquecedora. Además, compartimos conversaciones muy agradables con ambos que hicieron de estos días algo aún más especial. Fueron cuatro días inolvidables que, sin duda, quedarán en mi memoria. Recomiendo este hospedaje al 100% para quienes buscan no solo un lugar cómodo, sino también una experiencia humana y acogedora. ¡Totalmente merecidas las 10 estrellas!

+ La atención del lugar y la comida me encantó. Necesitábamos un lugar cerca al hospital, así que este fue nuestra mejor opción y valió totalmente la pena.. El establecimiento se encuentra en una buen zona, cerca al centro. Jonathan estuvo siempre al pendiente por cualquier cosa que necesitábamos. Definitivamente volveremos a este lugar.

+ Jonathan the host was fantastic. I came down with food poisoning before I arrived, and he was very understanding and even accompanied me to the doctor and the pharmacy to get myself better. Location was superb! Bravo!

- Being able to enter and exit with your own key or code would be a nice improvement to increase independence and convenience.
