Canggu Central Hostel and Rooftop Bar

So far in my trip, this has sadly not been great. The staff were really good, but the place was not very clean. I stayed in a private room and the shower was leaking , the ac wasn’t working , the bed was uncomfortable, the wardrobe looked as if it had been torn apart. Over all not very nice experience

This was my least favourite. From reception to rooms. The reception did not make me feel welcome and at 3am I had a fight with another girl who wasn’t even staying in our room to stop playing her music at full blast. Did not have a great experience here.

The sanitary conditions in this hostel is really bad, stains on bed sheet(but still ok-ish as can tell it was washed), the wall is really dirty, blood stains on the curtain, nowhere to hang towel except a dirty wooden shelf. The worst part is the bathroom/toilet,it’s just way too filthy, totally unacceptable. Because of that, this definitely should not be a 9.4 rating hostel. That’s why I am giving the lowest score. Booked 2 nights, and ran away after the first.

Overall it’s a nice and social hostel, free breakfast and dinner is amazing and the bar / breakfast staff is really nice. However, the night shift is rarely ever present if you need anything you just have to figure it out yourself. I didn’t receive a blanked my first night even after I had asked the night shift for one (got a pillow cover). but all of that is fine and can happen, what’s making this rating bad is black mold in the bathroom that just got painted over, risking everyones healt...

La verdad entre à voluntariar ahí porque tengo mucha experiencia con guests y experiencia. Es el único hostel en donde no te dan comidas sí eres voluntario, no tienes horario, quieren que trabajes todo él dia toda la tarde toda la Noche y qué lleves gente à los bares después de qué él hostel cierra. It's the worst youth hostel I've ever stayed in，the sink in the bathroom is clogged.. The soundproofing is very poor.people laughing and drinking downstairs all night. and the bar upstairs very loud until 11pm .and there’s a girl bringing a men to our female ‘s room and sleep together plz imagine that…… and I have to find other hotel to sleep at 4am，bcz the hotel staff don’t know how to do whit it…….crazy ! they refund my room fee eventually, unbelievable!

Was an absolute nightmare. The rep in our room consistently brought back different girls every night, and the walls were paper-thin, sleep was impossible. The other guests were incredibly loud and inconsiderate, constantly shouting and peeing with the door open. It felt more like a zoo than a place to rest. The bar upstairs was also very noisy with people making a racket on the stairs. The bathroom reeked of sewage. There were no locks on the doors, so randomers walked in. Felt unsafe.

We got bedbugs in our beds and overall the hostel wasn’t that clean…

Not good overall. Sorry bro but they is one of the worst hostels i stayed in

Loved the stay 😊 Chris the owner and all of the staff always make sure that everyone feels good and enjoys their time! Sometimes they just jam and play music together at the pool and it is such a vibe! The Location is very central and the 'Warung Local' is really good (and close :)) You can chill in the Hostel if you like but also the Bar upstairs is really cool for evening activities and pre drinking (and free dinner) and you can easily make friends! Will definitely come back 🫶🏻😊

This hostel has an amazing atmosphere! All the staff are so lovely here I instantly felt welcomed when I came. Kerry the receptionist was so helpful and welcoming. Aldo would always welcome you every morning with a smile and offer you a free toastie! Fajri and Christian were so much fun to be around and always very helpful. They always brang good vibes! Haliq and miko the bar staff were always so helpful and were such fun vibes, such lovely people to talk to!! Definitely recommend staying here!

Very good hostel, social, with a nice pool and close to many shops and restaurants. The volunteers Bliss, Charlie and Lucas were amazing organizing social activities. Overall very good value for money as the beds were really comfortable. Ended up extending twice. Thank you to Miko, Aldo, Haliq for the good vibes and the jam!!

I had great stay at this hostel. The place is clean, comfortable, and has a friendly vibe that makes it easy to meet people. Special thanks to Rion. He’s super helpful. Highly recommended.

Not really a hostel… more like a home. Cannot recommend this place enough, just like I’m pretty sure everyone else did, I just kept extending my stay❤️ Miko will make you feel like you should never leave, see you next year 😎

My favourite hostel I’ve ever stayed at! The facilities are so good & the beds are sooo comfy. free toastie every morning & free dinner too & you can also get suchhh good coffee tooo. Staying at this hostel was such a great experience. The vibe is super chill, the rooms are clean, and the location is totally on point. Big shoutout to Rion always friendly and helpful and literally the definition of great service. Highly recommended for anyone looking for comfort and good energy.

this place it’s just amazing i can’t eve describe it , the rooftop is so amazing that you can see the sunset from up there ! would highly recommended this hostel and best time to experience it in Bali ! and big shoutout to Miko at the bar who always made the good vibes at the bar! 100% will be back to this hostel !

This was our favorite hostel, we needed up staying an extra couple days because of how much fun we had! The staff is so kind and makes sure you have a good time! we will 100% be coming back
