Il n’y avant personne à l’accueil, ça a prit plusieurs minutes avant de voir quelqu’un, aucune note de sonné ici ou cogner pour service . Dans le dortoir , odeur de sueur et d’urine ! 73$ pour dormir avec 7 inconnus avec cette odeur , trop cher à mon goût !

TERRIBLE PLACE. DO NOT STAY FOR MORE THAN A NIGHT. I left early. Lies about facilities available. Includes business around the hostel to be a part of what he offers. Avoid this place at all costs. Invest the few extra $ to go somewhere else.
Don’t stay in this hostel! Number one piece of advice I can give straight off. It’s a terrible hostel, and I hated coming back to it each night. The showers are tiny and dirty, the rooms also small and are dirty with no air and stunk, the atmosphere was horrible. Is across the street from a karaoke bar and of course the walls were so thin so could hear every song until 2am. There was this lady who lived on the common room couch just making my time so uncomfortable, nobody said a word to me. ...
Warning bed bugs!! I has a terrible experience at the hostel - the room smelled horrific and like it hadn't been cleaned or aired in months. Then after sleeping for one night I woke up covered in bed bug bites. I ended up leaving after the first night instead of staying the full three nights I'd booked. I reached out to the hostel to explain my reason for leaving and they have made no effort to respond. This ended up costing me loads of money as had to pay for the new place as well as here
The sheets were not big enough for the bed and were see through. There was no mattress protecter. The pictures are misleading. I did not feel safe staying here.
La persona que atiende es nefasta! No me dieron mi habitación porque llegue después de las 9 pm y no me regresaron mi dinero!!! El señor me saco a la calle enmedio de la lluvia a las 23:30 pm y que a esa hora fuera a buscar otro lugar, yo no se porque no solo me dio mi cama y listo, no, me grito, quería llamar a la policía y nefasto lugar y el señor que atiende, una vergüenza para los canadienses, no dan ganas de regresar a Quebec

J’ai séjourné 1 nuit dans cet auberge et j’ai trouvé l’établissement vétuste. Pas d’échelles aux lits superposés, nous devions utiliser un escabeau. Dans les douches, une affiche annonce que nous devons prendre des douches de maximum 5 min et rester 10 minutes dans la salle de bain. L’établissement aurait besoin d’un coup de neuf, je ne recommande pas pour le prix.
The area is weird, no services, constant presence of stone people almost always at the main door of the building and/or the building in front of it, the “hotel” is in front of a karaoke bar with music till 3 am. At the room hot temperature and even closing windows disconfort with the high music from the bar. The room is poor, old and dirty. The toilets dirty all the time, never get dry in the floor. For us it is not a problem but a lot of stairs to get to the room.

Endroit calme et tranquille.
Pierre is a fantastic host. He takes the time to explain where to go and how to get to places. We had very nice conversations and he was always very helpful. Thank you for everything.

Rentrer dans le dortoir plongé dans le noir H24, c’est comme pénétrer une chaussette mouillée.Odeur d’humidité, sueur, le combo parfait !On dirait que l’air a décidé de prendre des vacances, lui aussi.Je me réveille première nuit et la y a un mec en plein tapis de prière au milieu de la chambre.Le gars il avait pas réservé une nuit, il avait revendiqué le territoire ! Bon séjour et un bel accueil dans une auberge pas chère et dans l'esprit des routards historiques! J'avais opté pour une chambre individuelle, très bien.
Je ne recommande pas forcément cet hôtel, beaucoup de bruit avec le bar en face, chambre pas très propre les draps sont tachés. Une douche sur deux non fonctionnelle. Pas de savon dans les toilettes. Impossible de faire son check out après 21h. Une dame dors dans le salon destiné à tout le monde et n'a pas l'air de vouloir partager l'espace. Beaucoup de personne semble vivre ici à l'année. Ambiance très étrange et pas sécuritaire.

Minimalist hostel at a cheap price. Don't have high expectations in terms of facilities. Good place to crash after a busy day.
It's super central in downtown, only a couple minutes from all amenities and sights. The building is pretty old and the facilities aren't luxurious. The window in my room was facing a loud bar and even when it was closed it was pretty loud. They have small lockers in the room for valuables, privacy curtains and a little patio that you can use. The kitchen is small and not very well stocked. Staff was friendly and they let me store my stuff after check out. No complaints for that price!
The manager Pierre is very friendly and talkative, nice guy.
It has a great location, just a 15-minute walk from the touristy area, and you'll find plenty of dining options just around the corner. Literally, a block away, you'll discover Hono Ramen, highly recommended, and on the corner, there's a gourmet supermarket. Additionally, a couple of blocks down the road, you'll find the Metro, offering options for all budgets. It's definitely not your typical youth hostel; it's more like a guesthouse. There are people living here, and kitchen access is limited...
The host is very welcoming, but I’m not sure if it is a youth hostel, people of all ages are welcome. Its not horrible it’s just the kind of hostel that you get what you pay for, it has the basics of what you need (shower, toilet, laundry and kitchen). Doesn’t provide a towel, you can rent one for $2. There is a woman that sleeps on the couch in the main area, I assume it is the hosts mother, she is harmless just coughs a lot.
Auberge de jeunesse bien située mais l’entrée est un peu lugubre. L’accueil était plutôt froid et nous ne nous sommes pas senti en confiance surtout en la présence d’une dame avec une toux puissante qui nous a empêché de dormir. La chambre est poussiéreuse et les douches peu propres.
Just stayed there for 1 night cause I missed my flight. The guy from the reception was friendly and showed some attractions. But it wasn’t that clean tbh and it was a strange smell. Was ok for 1 night tho.

Welcoming, you get what you'd expect from a hostel. Its probably as clean as it will get.
