Avoid! bathroom full of mold and smell like pee, there are 4 bathrooms for 12 dorms, rooms are extremely over crowded and don’t have a lot of storage and 90% of people staying here are living here, and there’s no storage the rooms get extremely messy and gross. multiple cockroach’s in common areas and one on my bed. Honestly, I might have just drawn the short straw but my stay here was pretty terrible. I booked the best (priciest) share room and when I got there my storage locker was just not there. Just a big space where it was supposed to be. Locked out of my room in the middle of the night because I had to pee and the app they use for room access refreshed overnight and I had no key. Sehr kleine Zimmer. Keine verstaumöglichkeiten. Keine Haken in der Toilette. Nach der Dusche steht das ganze Bad unter Wasser. Insgesamt sehr durchwachsenes Erlebnis.

Worst stay I ever had. The room I stayed in was the dirtiest place I’ve ever seen. When I arrived the floor was full of dirt and hairs, especially in the bathroom, the shower and sink probably haven’t been cleaned a couple of days, it smelled like pee and drain and the bins where overflowing… I complained at the reception multiple times but they just nod it of and basically didnt care.

Worst Hostel I’ve stayed in so far. Bathrooms were extremely dirty! No bathrooms on my floor and only a few bathrooms for such a big hostel. Insects were everywhere in the dining area. Not enough fridge space. Left earlier because I hated it so much.

Wouldn’t stay here again, left after one night. Room is cramped, covered in mould and dirty. Cleaners come in mop the floor for 5 seconds and leave. Was also bitten alive during the night.

Was mould all over the room. I’m asthmatic and they told me that it was because it had rained and then was warm over the weekend. Other room mates had said it was there for about a week. Cleaners were rubbish. Did the bare minimum and obviously did nothing about the mould since they would have seen it every day. Mould got wiped off but there was no common sense with cleaner. I told her if she was going to do it by being on my bed that a little towel would not protect my bedsheets.

Dirtiest hostel I have ever stayed in. Our room was filled with trash and dust. The bathroom had trash and a moldy towel on the floor. We didnt shower there because the shower was so dirty. It also smelled from the bathroom. Someone in our room even told the staff about the problem, they said our bathroom would be cleaned that same day, which never happened. Not a good experience. When you pay this much for a hostel the least you expect is that it is clean.

Sehr schlecht. Die wenigen Duschen, die es im Gebädue gibt, sind immer besetzt und schlecht. Der Duschkopf ist sogar abgefallen beim Fuschen. Die Klimaalange hat eine Woche lang nicht funktioniert und obwohl die Rezeption davon wusste, ist nichts passiert. Es ist viel zu teuer dafür, dass es nichts zu bieten hat und zu wenige Duschen hat. Die Zimmer sind extremst eng und bei meinem Bett hat einseiig ein Vorhang gefehlt. Kakerlaken. Küchen sind nachts geschlossen. Dreckig.

The outside of the property and is full of character with lovely staff who not only greet you but show you to your room. However, this is by fire the dirtiest hostel I’ve ever stayed in with limited facilities. There was only one toilet on the ground floor and it was filthy. The kitchen also stank with cockroaches and flies and old food rotting in the fridge.

Amazing 10/10

I was happy at first, but my experience became very disappointing. Someone accidentally took my food and something important that I left in my basket. I reported it immediately, but the staff told me they weren’t going to check the cameras because they were too busy. I find this very upsetting and disappointing, as it feels like nothing is done when something is stolen. The rooms are very dirty, the backyard is full of cockroaches, and there are rats running everywhere.

we had a very unpleasant stay. the hostel is really dirty with cockroaches and rats walking around, the only clean place is the kitchen, the staff is friendly but not super helpful, common areas close super early, no real inside dining space, not social at all, no shelves by the bed or in the bathroom. Location is good though and room was spacious but dirty!

The worse thing about my stay was the lack of cleanliness. I stayed for 3 nights and found several cockroaches everyday in the common areas, bathroom and near my bed. I had a room with an en-suite bathroom and it did not seem like it was cleaned at all during my stay since the toilet had feces smeared inside the whole time. The only good things I have to say about this hostel is that it is a nice location and there is a decent gym on site.

Super nice hostel! Would definitely stay again. Very friendly staff who helped me with all my problems. People are pretty much minding their own business, so if looking for a quiet hostel this is the one to go. The common areas close quite early, but otherwise the premices are amazing.

Not very good bathrooms but everything else okay

Staff were very friendly but the accomodation did not feel safe, people kept letting in a homeless man who would sit outside our room, our door was constantly left unlocked as the door didn’t close unless you slammed it. The room and en suite was filthy and we had to ask 3 times to get it cleaned. Not very social as most people were living there for work. I wouldn’t stay here again which is a shame because the other drifter hostels are lovely

My favorite hostel in Sydney. So cool, staff are so nice, room and bathroom are clean. Very cool !

Staff are nice. 4 bed room very small. Beds move/shake a lot. Only 2 toilet/showers per gender for whole floor. I had very unpleasant roommates, I know this isn’t the hostels fault but unfortunately ruined my experience. No WiFi in terrace house. Communal area in art house much nicer than terrace house.

L'hostel en lui est tres sympa, le personnel est a lecoute et lemplacement est top MAIS beaucoup beaucoup trop sale, pas d'eau chaude dans les douches et pas de places dans les frigos

I was really surprised by this hostel. Stayed in an 8 bed dorm with a private bathroom, great aircon. The hostel kitchen was kept so clean by the staff, probably the cleanest one yet, the bathrooms however could have been cleaner but only seemed to be cleaned once per day so got quite dirty. Most staff were really friendly and helpful. I wouldn't say it was the most sociable hostel (lots of live in guests) but equally they did have events every night to join!

J’ai adoré mon expérience. Je n’ai dormis qu’une seule nuit. L’endroit était propre. Le quartier était super. J’aurais aimé y rester plus longtemps, mais j’avais déjà réservé ailleurs.

Location was great - close to transit and walkable to a lot of restaurants, parks, etc. This was the first hostel I’ve stayed in that charged for holding bags pre and post check in (just a few dollars, but why?!) A lot of the social area was outdoors - so on rainy days, not much usable community space and seemed like a lot of long term guests (not as welcoming and kitchens were PACKED). Overall, great for 6 days as a place to sleep in an awesome location in Sydney.

Stayed twice, first time it was fine but second time my room was dirty. Despite booking a 12 bed en-suite I got an eight bed shared bathroom. The room was dirty, toilets and showers were filthy and one of the toilets were out of order so only three toilets for a whole floor of dorms to share

The state of the bathroom facilities is actually shocking. I've stayed in a lot of hostels and the state of these is truly some of the worst. Only two toilets and showers for a huge block of rooms and so so dirty. Twice while I was there over the course of three days they ran out of toilet paper. Reception was absent when I arrived and then told me nothing even though they have an electronic system for entry which should be explained. Beds were comfy, rooms were small.

We stayed in a 4-bed dorm with a shared bathroom, the room itself was small but okay but the facilities really let it down. There were only two female toilets and two female showers for the whole building, so there was almost always a queue. The bathrooms were always dirty, with used bottles and razors left behind, and the “last cleaned” sign didn’t change during our 6-day stay. Dirty rooms, mould in the bathroom. Room clearly wasn’t cleaned before we came in(surprised if it was after!) and for the most expensive shared dorm, just not worth it. Were there for 5 nights and ran out of toilet roll in the ensuite which only got replaced when we complained. The reviews looked good but it has clearly gone downhill. The keycard being on your phone was a pain as it rarely worked. Not worth the money. Kitchen smelt awful and was dirty so ended up not cooking at all.
