If you ask them something not about the accommodation they will keep postponing it as long as possible. I asked to call for a bus in the morning and by 5 pm I had to ask a third time to call and now the tickets are sold out.

Hostel was good but literally all my stuff got stolen in the luggage room there which was right by reception- had no lock either and staff not keeping an eye out. Shame because hostel was nice

Achtung KINDERARBEIT! Kinder(unter 10 Jahre) verkaufen TÄGLICH STUNDENLANG Snacks an Touristen,während sie eigentlich in der Schule sein müssten. Gespräch mitgehört, wie zwei Mitarbeiter den Kindern erklären, wie sie die Sachen besser verkaufen sollen!

Beautiful laguna. Unfortunately I wasn’t aware they were doing renovations so while relaxing at the lake all I could hear was power tools and hammers. They also had so many areas with no access due to the construction. The food is really overpriced and not that good. Overall would recommend a day trip and not to stay here.

overpriced for a stuffy private room that's hotter at night than outside. bathrooms are far away as they're also the bathrooms for the beachfront bar.

Overall experience was good, food was great and majority of staff were friendly. Our only disappointment was the fact the staff were having a party the evening we booked so we were told to order dinner and leave the restaurant by 5pm. I don’t think it’s acceptable to take bookings and not allow your guests to use any of the facilities all evening. We were basically sent to our rooms from 6pm onwards to just sit and wait for a new day! Really poor from them…they should block dates in future...

Would not recommend. The location is cool, you get a beautiful view and you can sleep with the sound of waves. But the dorms…. Omg. There’s a space between the ceeling and the wall, so bugs and all kind of insects can come in. There was bug shits in my bed, mosquitoes, ant, really not nice. I had to shake out my sheet before going to bed. I understand that we are in a jungle, but for 20$ a night, i souldn’t have to shake my sheet before bed. On a better note, the food is really good!

property is really cool, the food is pretty decent only the service is super slow in the restaurant, also super annoying that there are local venders who keep bothering you the whole day and the stray dogs are kind of annoying. in general a bit too expensive for what you get, so might be better as a day trip and buy their day pass

It is a lovely hostel for 1 or 2 nights. You can swim in the lake and rent kayaks and paddle boards all for free! The food is quite expensive and average and there isn’t a kitchen or many places close by for you to eat at so bear in mind when booking your stay! We did go to a pizza place down the road that was nice :) It’s a very quiet hostel with little atmosphere, I wouldn’t recommend for solo travellers unless you are wanting your own space for a couple of days. Très très belle endroit!! La seul chose qui manque une cuisine et tout serais parfait! La nourriture est cher mais il y a un commedor juste en face ça vaut le coup

One of the nicest hostels I’ve stayed at. Feels more like a resort. Food is delicious and the drinks are nice and strong. Views of the lake are stunning. Rooms are spacious and clean. Bathrooms clean too. It’s nice that a lot of locals seem to visit here too.

El personal es súper amable, tuve un incidente y se preocuparon por que yo estuviera bien, las habitaciones son lindas y la laguna es bellísima El Smoothie No.3 es riquísimo por cierto. Compren mango con los niños que van a vender, están haciendo lo que pueden.

The nicest lake getaway!!! Such a gorgeous place with lots of activities to do like pool, darts, swimming, there’s a platform in the lake where you can sunbathe or jump off. The volunteers were really nice and the atmosphere was great. Helpful staff, clean rooms with your own fan. The name lived up to expectations- it is paradise! The only thing I would say is that people go here for the day to enjoy the lake, so the food and drink is quite expensive and there is not communal kitchen.

Magnifique hostel face à la lagune. Les dortoirs sont propres, les casiers immenses avec prises à l’intérieur, les lits sont confortables et les espaces communs super agréables (++ billard). Le personnel est aux petits soins. Les - : manque de rideaux aux lits, manque des prises dans les lits

Insgesamt eine schöne Unterkunft, die Zimmer sind recht groß und das Restaurant hat einen tollen Blick auf die Lagune. Dort kann man super ein paar Tage entspannen und lernt auch leicht Leute kennen. einziger Kritikpunkt: wenig Licht im Zimmer und erst recht im Bad ist es ziemlich dunkel. Aber man ist ja eh meistens draußen.

Hostel Paradiso was our first stop on a 3 month trip round Central and South America and how spoilt we were to have this as our first stay! Great location with stunning views, staff were lovely and the food was delicious, we especially enjoyed the breakfast burritos and shrimp for dinner! Would highly recommend. Travelled as a couple, stayed in a private room with en suite

Lovely hostel with generally good staff/ volunteers and good location, however unfortunately one very bad volunteer who was inappropriate with a few girls in the hostel made our experience somewhat negative. Luckily, when we complained about him, we were informed he had already been let go, however we were very frustrated and saddened to later see him allowed to reenter the hostel as a guest which caused us a lot of discomfort.

By far the best hostel I’ve stayed at since traveling in Nicaragua! I slept in the luxe pod dorm and it was honestly the best sleep I had in a couple of days ; it’s spacious, clean, each bed has its own fan and a light. Showers are awesome too, lots of space and clean. Staff is kind and the place is beautiful. There’s not really a beach but there is places to sit near the lake and a dock wich is really nice. There’s a place that offer massages and manicures too, first time I see that!

Heerlijke locatie! De kamer zijn schoon en het bed lag heerlijk. Er zijn veel plekjes waar je kunt chillen en zonnen met een prachtig uitzicht op de laguna. Ik heb ook nog nooit in zulke comfortabele hangmatten gelegen! Als ik terugkom naar de laguna, zal ik sowieso opnieuw hier boeken.
