The overall score of this place is way to high. I have stayed in many hostels and this should be like 6.5 - 7 in rating. Dont fall for the rating, it doesnt reflect reality.

Rating didn't match the facility and it's a bad place

This was probably the worst hostel experience I’ve ever had. There was used toilet paper in the toilet paper holder and they would not clean it until a day later. The rooms are extremely small and just a handheld shower head in a cramped bathroom space The entire building shares one elevator and around 10:30 in the morning the garbage man uses the elevator to take out the trash so you have to walk down 15 flights of stairs with the most putrid rancid smell from years of neglect (bc I guess...

The hostel is in Chungking Mansion and quite hard to find. There’s a lot of men on the street in front of it trying to sell you stuff. Felt quite unsafe as female solo backpacker and would stay somewhere else next time.

The bathroom is just a bot too small otherwise all good. Staff are very friendly, polite and helpful.

The hostel is located in the Chungking Mansions, a large multi-purpose building right in Tsim Sha Tsui. The price and location are great. It was also clean for the most part. Points of criticism are the often long waiting times for the lift, the clogged drain of the shower on the 13th floor and the air conditioning not working in my room. This may be different in other rooms. I can recommend the Delta Hostel as a cheap place to stay in Hong Kong. The staff are friendly and helpful.

The building itself is slightly strange and weird to navigate but it's in a really central area, super close to the Museum of Arts and the Avenue of Stars. The staff were super kind and helpful, especially Raman! He was so nice throughout the entire stay and also was amazingly helpful in guiding me around the city! The rooms were clean and the staff were great at ensuring we had everything we needed.
