got bed bugs bites from that hostel, luckily it seems that I haven’t brought any bugs with me home, also fridges were super full probably with old food, so no space to put your food, the staff was nice tho

This place has such POTENTIAL to be amazing - it’s up on a gorgeous hill in a Portuguese surf town with a pool - BUT it is just not the vibe. It’s not social, the staff puts zero effort into events to meet people, everyone seems to be sitting by themselves in the common areas. It’s also just a little dirty and a missing a little care (always out of towels, the breakfast sucks, etc). I wouldn’t stay again there’s better hostels out there

DISGUSTING! Staff rude, room door broken (we had to enter through the window, no security), bathroom tiny, dirty, no cleaning, no soap refilled despite daily promises. Kitchen filthy, nobody used it. Staff unhelpful. Activities a scam: barbecue was rice, chips, bad meat for €15. Expensive, nothing works (broken ping-pong, pool). Not worth it. Surf lessons elsewhere are way better (Surftech highly recommended). TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE

It is a hostel with the possibility of being great, now it it’s not. The place is beautiful in the mountains and the pool and places you can sit are great. But it did not feel clean. One bathroom didn’t have toilet paper for days and the other one you could flush, great combination.. It also felt pretty cliquey, if you’re not part of the surf classes it is very challenging for a solo traveler to connect with other people. It is also pretty far from the town center for female solo traveler...

The entire experience from start to finish was underwhelming. When we tried to check in, the guy at the front desk, who seemed incredibly lazy, told us to come back in an hour, despite it already being 4 p.m., the designated check-in time. The breakfast situation is almost laughable. Sure, they offer bread, but that's about it. If you're lucky, you might find some oats or, occasionally, yogurt. Es war extrem schmutzig, keine Seife, kein Papier, die Schließfächer waren nicht nutzbar. Es war sehr laut. Dafür sehr teuer für eine Nacht.

Hostel is definitely further away than a 4-5min WALK. One of our Keycards stopped working after only a few hours in the hostel. The storage space in the rooms are very small. People had to leave their suitcase/luggage in the common area of the room because it didn’t fit into the little space under the bed = room was messy. The bathroom and showers are missing hooks to hang up clothes, towels etc. Staff was friendly. Overall wouldnt recoomend for people that are traveling without a car...

We didn’t enjoy our stay at this hostel at all. The location is really close to the beach, however, it is very far from everything else - even the closest supermarket is about a 30-minute walk. Yet, the worst thing for us was the cleanliness of the property. The dorms were very dirty and my friend got very sick one day which was probably either due to the breakfast or the lack of hygiene in the dorms. The hostel is okay if the only thing that you want to do is surfing

Incredibly rude and unhelpful staff who made us feel unwelcome and like an inconvenience from the moment we arrived until the moment we left. Weird bar system where you have to pay for your cups and then keep them? If you lose it or the cleaners take it away you have to pay for them all over again. You have to pay for a full day to use the luggage storage even if you just need it for an hour before check in or after check out. Just bad vibes overall and a rip off, will never stay again.

The surf package is over priced don’t buy it for my he hostel it’s cheaper in town. The hostel charges $60 to rent a board in town cost $15. The location is very far from the beaches and town They are using false ads for their hostel. There is no bonfire pit . No atmosphere no privacy places My room was extremely dirty all 3 nights. Beds are all damp .

Absolutely loved my stay here. The hostel itself was so cool and the pool area is so lovely. Very social and so easy to meet people. Loved it so much I extended my stay. Would highly recommend! :)

It was an absolute amazing experience. The hostel is very nice and so good for socialzising. I‘d recommend it to everyone.

J’y ai seulement séjourné une nuit en dortoir femme en avril, et j’aurais aimé rester + longtemps. Équipe super sympa, dortoir spacieux, et espaces communs variés (cuisine, bar, salon, piscine, extérieur…). Des activités sont organisées en journée

Amazing hostel but why is the kitchen closed when breakfast is served? Super annoying, let me cook my own stuff!

Really awesome spot! The crew are wonderful and friendly. I made some incredible friends at the hostel! It’s one of those places you never want to leave. Common area is gorgeous and super fun to hang out at. Bar is cheap and good quality.

I go to this hostel every time I‘m in Ericeira and I always looove it! The staff is so nice and creates a comfortable atmosphere for everyone. The cats are lovely, location is great with parking spaces outside and the rooms give you plenty of privacy. I can recommend it to everyone traveling solo, as it’s very easy to meet and connect with people there.

Easily the best hostel I’ve ever stayed at. The people are so kind and helpful, especially Luana (miss you). They have hostel cats and they’re absolutely adorable. It’s very close the beach. The views are incredible. The rooms are very clean and the amenities are amazing. We went when Ericeira was very rainy but still had an incredible time, mostly thanks to this hostel. I couldn’t recommend it more.

I LOVE this hostel! I stayed here in November to do some surfing, and even though it was the low season everyone was so vibrant and open to meeting new people. The common areas were super spacious and clean, and the surf/skate vibe of the hostel is awesome. The staff were super friendly and helpful as well, and Ericeira is absolutely stunning! Will definitely be returning as soon as possible!

is located outside the center! quit a cold welcoming, the shower was not clean and the hose holder was broken. one shower in a 10 dorm room. but the room was nice, also a lot of space to hang out!

Das Hostel ist cool. Es war hier sehr einfach neue Leute kennenzulernen und die Atmosphäre ist top. Leider ist es sehr schmutzig. Es funktionieren nicht alle WC, einige Duschen überschwemmen alles und die Kühlschränke wurden mindestens 4 Wochen nicht gereinigt. Ich finde wenn man sich die sauberen WC und Duschen sucht, kann man für einige Tage darüber hinweg sehen. Ansonsten eins der besten Hostel in dem ich war.

I absolutely loved staying at WOT Ericeira! The staff are incredibly friendly everyone (Bruna, Luana, Naïma, Mafalda) and genuinely make you feel at home—one of the nicest people I’ve met in my 5 years of full-time traveling. This is easily one of the best hostels I’ve stayed. There’s always something fun to do: skating, ping pong, table football, swimming pool, surf-skate ramp, plenty of social activities. The open kitchen is great for cooking and meeting other traveler.
