Absolutely not clean. We found rat droppings under the beds, in the shower and worst of all, IN our beds. Also cockroaches. If they manage their hygiene level in the future it has great potential though, I really liked the common area and location right by the river.

Very very quiet hostel when I was there, rooms have no fans so are silent, anyone can hear your every move. Location is a bit far from restaurants/ shops but fine if you rent a moped.

My expectations were really high because it was graded with a 10. The staff is super nice. But I want to leave a review to manage some expectations. We booked a private room but got an empty dorm room. It is really camping because all the animals like frogs, spiders and cockroaches can get in. So after one night I wanted to go somewhere else. If I had known this up front I wouldn't have booked it. If you love outdoors and don't mind insects it's great! Nice location by the river.

Staff is not very friendly

Struttura situata a una decina di minuti a piedi dalla via principale. Durante la notte la via per arrivarci è completamente buia, fate attenzione ai cani, alla reception/bar non c'è quasi mai il personale, devi scrivergli tramite il numero che c'è sul tavolo.

Good place would come back :)

Waterpark super cool!! Personal auch nett. Hat uns am Ende geholfen, spontan einen Bus zu buchen, weil unserer Last Minute storniert hat - jedoch davor einen Roller verliehen, der einen Platten hatte. Haben wir nicht direkt gemerkt, aber zufälligerweise hätten wir einen platten Reifen selber zahlen müssen? Keine Ahnung ob Absicht, aber gefährlich und nicht nett. Unterkunft generell etwas unsauber, die Bettwäsche besteht zu 110% aus Polyester und fühlt sich irgendwie dreckig und kratzig an.

You definitely get what you pay for. The pictures didn’t represent the hostel at all. The slide was used a couple of times but definitely needs some cleaning and care as the path down to the river was all overgrown. The room was fine but smelt of mold and the toilet smelt of urine. Not a very social hostel but it’s possible that it would be better during peak season. The lady working here was lovely and was very accommodating alongside looking after her own kids!

Sehr soziales Hostel direkt am Fluss perfekt zum Baden und abkühlen bei heißem Wetter. Kann es wirklich empfehlen dort hin zu gehen wenn man ein soziales Hostel will in dem man leicht Kontakte schließen kann. (Mietet die Roller aber definitiv nicht dort)

Insanely good value for what you get! It’s the coolest hostel right by the river with delicious free breakfast and waterside! As a solo traveller I met lots of people and had so much fun jumping in the river all afternoon. The rooms are clean and spacious with AC and lots of hooks. The family who run this place is super welcoming and helpful, and make it feel like you’re part of the family. It’s a serious bargain, defo worth visiting for at least a couple nights.

social hostel. phantastic water slide etc. likes the atmosphere. nice near at the riber and in the nature. good fried noodels. you can rent a bike and see the endless beauty of Phong nah

Best hostel Iv been to in Vietnam. Lots of fun to be had, and the staff are an extremely friendly family!

This hostel is literally 10/10!! The staff is so so nice, the views are insane and the location is perfect. Breakfast is also included which is crazy for the price! I’d deffo go back :)

Tea , coffee and food are very cheap and good. I was lucky enough to get a private from a guy who hated the place but to be honest, the place is perfect for what you pay. The walls are quite thing so you can listen to people talking everywhere but ok, hostel life. Ask for a towel, they just charge you a deposit and give it back once you leave. So, I would definitely go again.

Run by a lovely family! Private room was cosy and good value for money, water park was cool just too rainy when we went to use, easy to get to the attractions

Cheap stay

The staff was very nice, and I really liked the room, with air conditioning. However there is no lock on the door (only manual from the inside, but you’re not supposed to use that because other people staying in the room can’t enter then). Free breakfast included, you can choose what you want. The outside areas are nice but not kept uo that much. A quiet hostel in my experience.

A very underrated place!!! The waterpark is the unique highlight (swing, rope, tower, slide to jump in the river🤙). Food and drinks are better priced than in all other places I’ve seen in Phong Nha. Beds are ok. Place offers all services needed. Throughout the off season it makes sense if you’re 2 or more people, since it wasn’t that busy.

Really great location. Great value for money. None of the bicycles work so you’ll have to hire one from town if you want to go for a bike ride

Decent hostel in a convenient location. I booked here because the water activities looked fun, but there are so many activities in Phong Nha we didn’t end up getting to try anything. I would not recommend renting the motorbikes or buying the gas from the hostel. They told us their gas was the same price as at the station, so we bought a bottle of gas for 30k and it didn’t take the gas needle off of E.
