Seashore Homely Stay and Restaurant

The worst properties ever seen. It was so dirty, from the entry alley to the room and the room was so dirty that it had all kinds of creatures in the room and outside it in lobby. The fan had mould and the bed sheet and blankets were dirty the walls were super dirty and disgusting and when asked for clean bed sheets then we were refused of it.

Terrible. we had to walk down an alley smelling of urine to get to the restaurant/check in area, then we got led to a dingy hallway where the rooms are. We booked a private room, and the bed was ROCK SOLID. The sheets were dirty, there were holes, and to top it off, the fan had black mold growing in HEAPS. The bathroom also had no sink and looked very moldy and dirty. For an extra 4$, lemon dew beach hotel is 100m away and a million times better. Or else there are so many other hostels in area.

Con más de un mes y medio en la India este lugar tiene el dudoso honor de ser el más sucio en el que he estado y el menos confortable. Cuando llegué el baño estaba sucio (restos biológicos de otras personas) así como las sábanas. Pedí que cambiaran las sábanas y limpiaran pero el resultado fue aún peor. Respecto a la habitación tiene unos agujeros que comunica con otra y el baño también comunica con la habitación de al lado. La señora que lo regenta tampoco es que sea especialment...

They won't accept booking from the website and giving it for higher price. still I haven't got what I paid as advance.

I didn't like this place very much. It is not meant as a hostel, no AC in the room

This place is extremely extremely dirty...and on beds in female dorm bugs are everywhere... I don't know what type of bugs it is but they really look disgusting. I truly recommend not staying there... I didn't sleep all night and it was one of the worst experience in hostel ever. Plus no hot water, no sink in bathroom, no shelves in the room. I don't understand why they don't clean the place at all.... Good side is that is located in front of the beach and they have nice restaurant with a view...

There was no plugs to charge mobile(not working). Toilets were very dirty.

Great staff, very helpful and made sure we had a)’ great stay

I felt very welcome at this homestay. Safeena is an amazing cook and very good host. I highly recommend the place and will try to go again! Leslie

Ac rooms were great to stay in, could be cleaner but hey, it's a seaside accomodation so you'd expect sand everywhere ☺️. Owners were VERY friendly and great willingness to help out with everything. They were also amazing cooks, which you wouldn't expect from this tiny kitchen they had. The best food we had in whole India! Great fish, and also great veg! Te staff is so sweet and amazing! They really took care of me and my friend and try to make the experience as convinient and good as possible. The resturant at the hostell is Also amazing and cheep and most other tourist always come here to eat! Would recommend strongly both for meeting people, food, activities and stay

hosts are very attentive and the restaurant is great! would highly recommend doing the backwaters trip they organise, was such good value for money and a real highlight of our trip so far! the room was very hot at night (understand that it's high season though), and it's not the cleanest, but you get what you pay for:)

The family feel and food is great here in Alleppey. If you value these virtues, check this spot out as it's right on the beach front!

Good hostel on Alleppey beach. Good price, nice staff and happy mood in the evening. Clean and big rooms are not the strong point of this property.

Por el precio que tiene está muy bien, buenas vistas, primera linea de mar, personal amable. Aunque dormir sin aire acondicionado entre mosquitos y calor fué duro. La limpieza dejaba algo que desear.

The staff were friendly and it was pretty cheap. The place needs a bit of a lift. Right by the beach but the beach is a bit dirty.

Location in front of the beach with beautiful view. The food at the restaurant is amazing and the hosts made us feel at home! we loved it

Super séjour de 7 nuits ! L’emplacement est parfait face à la mer avec un accès direct à la plage. Les chambres sont simples mais suffisantes et le plus c’est le restaurant avec une superbe vue! Les hôtes sont très extrêmement accueillants ! C’était parfait pour faire un break et bosser un peu car la wifi marche aussi super bien !

We loved it here. The property is right on the beach, with the restaurant looking out over the sea. The property has just been renovated so everything is clean and tidy. The main selling point are the owners, the family are lovely. They'll help any way they can and make you feel at home. They offer cooking lessons and backwater trips, and great food. Definitely stay here if you're wanting to explore Alleppey and the backwaters

This place has an extremely kind and generous feel, the family who run this home stay are tentative and full of smiles! With access to great food and a 5 second walk to the beach there is nothing more one could ask for. Furthermore, the family helped us with travel and organising a backwater experience. Overall a great place to go especially for the price.
