Good homestay. Made some nice friends here

as with other reviews, I can confirm that Moses the homestay owner is wonderful and very helpful. the location feels a bit sketchy and we didn't feel massively safe walking around, especially at night. they have laundry facilities and a water filter but nowhere to cook your own food. we had a thali one night and unfortunately it actually wasn't that tasty considering the price. also the homestay is freezing in the winter and the doors / windows aren't tight so please be warned!

Really nice homestay, Moses was very hospitable and took time to chat to me and organise my transport for the trip onwards. Had an informative sunset tour of Agra Fort and Taj Mahal with John, he took great pictures as well. Good room, perfect for a one night stay. Ate dinner at an external restaurant but Moses organised a thali for me for lunch which was really nice

Man muss mit ein Tuk Tuk zum Taj Mahal, zu Fuß sind es 3 km, also ungefähr 40 min. Unterkunft war insgesamt sauber und gut, keine Küche. Man kann auch nicht eigenständig rein und raus gehen, jemand muss die Tür öffnen. Preis Leistung ist aber super. Wenn man über 1,90 ist muss man fragen das man das Bett bekommt ohne Eisen an den Füßen. Moses war sehr nett.

Zigzag Homestay felt like a home. It was a comfortable and safe place to stay in Agra. Moses is an amazing host who gave us many great suggestions for our trip. We’d highly advise to have dinner at the house as it is so tasty as well as doing the guided tour with Moses to the Taj Mahal. If we ever get back to Agra, we sure will be staying here again. :) Shukriyaa Moses!!

lovely place to stay, lots of nice other travelers, staff very friendly, relatively good recommendations, sent me to a quite expensive restaurant for Indian standards (1300rp for 1) but the overall vibe in the place was def positive and they were excellent hosts !

Zigzag Homestay is the amazing hostel in Agra. Staff is friendly and helpful, they will you help you anytime. Also you can experience good local things with them. You have to stay here!

Stayed in ZigZag honestly and had a great stay. The rooms were clean and comfy. Moses and the rest of the family were great at making sure I was well looked after during my stay - especially allowing me into the room early and letting me stay late for a night bus, also the dinners were delicious. Moses runs a great tour of the Taj Mahal too.

If you want to get the best out of your time exploring Agra, Zigzag is the place to stay. The owner will immediately provide you with all the information you need. We also booked a guided tour of the Taj Mahal with him together with other guests and it was absolutely worth it.

We had a great stay at zigzag homestay. Nice family and Moses is incredibly helpful and gave us a lot of inputs for Agra but also for our further travel plans. He really makes time for every guest and helps organising whatever you need. Dinner was delicious as well!

Everyone there was extremely kind, they are a very sweet family. Moses can help you set up a tour of Agra with some great tuktuk drivers that they work together with. I saw all the highlight which was very nice! They can also help you arrange transport to the railway station for example, which comes in handy. In general I would really recommend staying here, as the facilities are also very clean.

Stay here in Agra. This place is exactly what I needed after a couple of days in Delhi. Moses helped me with everything I needed including onward transportation and logistics for the trip. He took us on a tour of the Taj Mahal for sunrise and then Agra Fort afterwards. I’ve go nothing bad to say about my stay here, the rating speaks for itself.

Moses was such a lovely host! Helped us book our train tickets, provided us with a meal in the evening, and even gave us a sound bath experience! He is very cool and I highly recommend!

Exactly what we wanted for our stay in Agra! Moses setup great taj majal and Agra fort tours for us, and a great ride back to Delhi. Moses was also so kind and the property was very clean and welcoming

I would absolutely stay here again. This is a homestay, the owner and host is Moses and he is not only extraordinarily helpful but warm and kind. He helped me with directions, helping me get medicine when I needed it, and answered any questions I had. I felt very safe in the homestay as a solo female traveler and this truly felt like staying in a locals home. The Taj Majal tour that Moses does was an added bonus! STAY HERE !!

Had a great stay at Zigzag. The homestay is a short tuktuk ride from some of the places you may want to go to like the Taj Mahal etc, but the upside is that it’s a very quiet corner of Agra. Moses is a great and very helpful host, always answering messages without delay, and his tour of the Taj Mahal was absolutely worth it and made my trip. Thanks Moses!

We LOVED our stay with Moses at Zigzag homestay, Moses was extremely helpful with recommendations every day of things to do and how to get around, and was responsive on Whatsapp whenever we messaged him with a question. The rooms were nice, a little bit warm overnight without Aircon but comfortable enough. Great bathroom and shower facilities, fast wifi and a quick tuktuk ride from most attractions. We would come back if we ever return to Agra, and would recommend this to anyone!

I can’t highly recommend zigzag homestay enough. Run by Moses and his wonderful family I felt truly at home in Agra. I arrived late from Delhi and he was messaging me and waiting up for me to arrive to ensure my safety. Moses is so kind and accommodating. He was happy to help with anything throughout the duration of my stay (including train tickets, Taj Mahal tour, red fort tour, food ect). I cannot recommend this wonderful homestay enough. Thank you Moses for your generous hospitality

Rooms were comfortable and clean. Moses went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable, welcome and informed on all there is to do in Agra, Jaipur and more! Even seeing me out and about he invited me over and said hello. Would recommend staying here:)

Zigzag has been one of the best places I’ve stayed in India! The property/ facilities were super clean and Moses and his sister were super friendly and helpful with anything I needed -can’t recommend staying here enough!

I absolutely loved this place! It’s super beautiful and truly feels like home. You can tell it’s cared for with so much love and attention to detail. The hosts are incredibly kind, always attentive and making sure you feel comfortable. They really go above and beyond. The food was delicious as well! They also organize a Taj Mahal tour, which was amazing and such a great experience. Overall, I loved my stay and would 100% recommend it to anyone visiting.

Such a lovely stay here. Moses and his sister were so so helpful and friendly, they even gave me a picnic breakfast for my very early train. We stayed in a nice double room and were given dinner when we arrived late, even though the kitchen was technically closed. A little further out of the centre but this means you see a more residential neighbourhood and is very easy to get to and from. Would very much recommend.

This is such a special homestay hosted by the brilliant Moses and his family. They take such good care of you and the private room is perfect and very comfortable for a couple. Thank you for all the amazing recommendations in Agra and beyond and we look forward to seeing you again soon 😊

Moses and his family looked after me and the other guests well. They took a proactive and extremely hospitable approach including arranging transport and exercising making our time in Agra less stressful. Would highly recommend to anyone visiting Agra

Lovely homestay, with amazing host. Moses is one of the friendliest hosts I’ve had the pleasure of meeting so far on my trip. He gives you recommendations both within and outside of Agra and has a lovely energy. The locations is in the local area of Agra, with local experience but with lots of tasty restaurants a 5 minute walk away. The homestay itself is very clean and the private room has a large and comfortable bed. The tour is super informative, with lots of great pics! Would recommend.

Moses e Steffi sono stati semplicemente meravigliosi, sempre gentili e disponibili in ogni momento. Ti fanno sentire davvero a casa fin dal primo giorno.L’homestay non si trova in una zona centralissima e alcuni autisti Uber hanno avuto un po’ di difficoltà a trovarlo, ma proprio questa posizione lo rende speciale: è un posto super silenzioso, tranquillo, dove nessuno ti disturba.
