The water for showering smelled like 'seaweeds'. The odor sticked to my bosy. In the evening I could still smell it Every evening hours on end smoke came through the flooring...bad evacution fire of the owners. Unstable feeling of balcony... In the 'room wholes in flooring and wholes in roof Very old matras, saggy No fresh odeur from sheets and blankets No hot water availanle for tea or coffee from 20 h to 8 o'clock No soap Junk everywhere under the buildings, rundown place.

I’ve stayed in many places, but this was by far the most uncomfortable bed I’ve ever slept in, and everything was very very dirty and outdated. While I could have overlooked those issues, what really compelled me to leave a review was the dishonesty of the owners. They attempted to s*** us by unfairly withholding our deposit and overcharging us. Location is great and I assume this was a nice place 15 years ago

Very dated, not clean, under renovation so noisy and dusty, old beds and bedding, lacks facilities and atmosphere. Septic system was really smelly in our room. Would not recommend.

If you're smoking a lot of weed and don't mind throwing the dice whether or not some guy is going to bad trip at 3AM and start banging the doors and marching back and forth on the bamboo floor like he's blitzkrieging the maginot line then this place might be for you. Also the woman there will hammer in her story of tragedy and then overcharge you because you're a dumb farang. Enjoy!

Hostel vibe was very chill and relaxed the place looked nice but functional it was awful. You could feel every spring in the bed they tried covering it with mattress pads but they were no use all the beds were like this. The toilets everyday of my stay were wet and dirty with no toilet paper I had to ask for some at reception.room had no lockers or storage for bags so you had them beside your bed. Beds had to privacy just a load of beds no curtains. Surprisingly the room was cool however.

So dirty and bugs everywhere. Don’t book if you want to sleep at all because the walls are paper thin.

Don’t go there, so much better and cheaper options. - Staff : I’ve never encountered such a rude and unprofessional host, I was asking about stuff to do or the room that was not soundproof whatsoever, and the guy was just sight at me, hiding up his face, really I was baffled - Room : we booked a private room for 2, but the room had a wall that did not go all the way up, thus, we could hear the peaople next door like they were in our bed - Noise : everything is in thinwood wood, and loud m...

Zo super smerig

Das war das schmutzigste und gruseligste Hostel in dem ich je schlafen musste. Die Badezimmer waren eine Katastrophe, dass man noch nicht Mal freiwillig dort duschen wollte!! Im gemischten Schlafzimmer standen die Betten viel zu eng aneinander und die Atmosphäre war im allgemeinen nicht gerade schon, eher gruselig. Nur die Aussicht und die Lage waren sehenswert. Ich würde hier nicht nochmal übernachten!!

I have never ever been in a more disgusting place. Especially the bathrooms are horrendous, toilet seat, bumgun and shower full of mold. Looks like it’s never been cleaned. Everything is dusty, sticky, lots of bugs and ants crawling around in the filth. It’s also super loud so hard to sleep, I upgraded from a private room to a private cabin. The cabin door could not be closed or locked from the inside. Darling said it was free of charge, insisted, but then ended up charging me an insane amo...

Thank you so much for our stay, the rooms were clean and the beds comfy. The owners were so generous and kind, we definitely recommend it to anyone wanting a beautiful view and sunset.

We were all alone in the hostel, had a 12bed dorm to ourselves bur honestly felt just like a big private room. If there are more guests, you really don’t even have place for your bags. No lockers, not even locks on the door so your personal belongings are out in the open for everyone who walks by. There is stuff en trash everywhere. When someone in the entire building moves you hear everything. The only positive thing was the view, that was wonderful!

Tolles Hostel mit super Lage und sehr guter Aussicht auf Pai! In der Nähe gibt ein sehr gutes Restaurant für Smoothie-Bowls und man ist innerhalb von 10 bis 15 Minuten in der Walking Street von Pai. Die Inhaber Peter und Mama Darling sind sehr lieb und zuvorkommend. Wir würden das Hostel definitiv weiterempfehlen, außer an Leute die Luxus und eine 24/7 Rezeption wollen.

This place was special. The owners are very kind and seem to genuinely care about their family-run place. Nice quiet part of town with easy access to walking street etc through cool back-roads path that goes over a bamboo bridge. If you don't mind facilities that aren't anything to write home about, you'll enjoy a quiet and beautiful stay (sunset view is amazing)

Lovely place to stay, we ended up extending by 3 nights. Amazing host, and a great location. Views are also beautiful. Great value for money. 💵

nice place but sadly no one was there when we were there but has a pool table and the owner is very friendly

I had such a good time here! Unfortunately in the off season we had between 0-2 others staying with us throughout our three nights so not very social, but it was just bad luck with timing. The owners were very lovely and made us feel at home! The free bananas were delicious. The pool was very nice and heaps of comfy hang out areas. Facilities good, very basic but everything works great. Great value for money!

absolutely magical place, hands down the best sunset in Pai. its a bit rinky but that adds to the charm

This hostel has potential, but it's far, the host asked me everyday for check in or check out, I asked her for some things and she always responded no (like for bus information, or for a tool to repair a guitar even though they have this tool). There are like 15 bed in a same room, and they're all next to each other. It's very cold at night, the mattress are hard and not comfortable, and you have to walk up 20 minutes on a hill to get to the hostel from the center of pai. So I wouldn't recommend

Es tierra de nadie el lugar, se puede fumar en cualquier lado y las habitaciones no estan cerradas del todo por lo que la habitación siempre tenia olor a marihuana. No hay mucha vida social en el alojemiento tampoco! Tiene muy linda vista y la dueña del alojamiento realmente es super amorosa!

Hostel has amazing views and is located within a 10 minute walk from the bars and restaurants. Staff were so kind and friendly!

Awesome place with good people. But cleanliness and comfort aren’t a priority if you book here.

The woman that owns this is so lovely! The hostel is proper backpacking vibes with a fire pit and the rooms feeling like a summer camp. The views from this hostel are amazing!! and it’s only a short walk to the centre.

Amazing view, can be noisy with the floor boards. But it’s a very nice experience in a sense of camping and being in nature. Lovely staff!
