- This place is nothing more than a cash-grabbing machine that treats guests like disposable wallets. Management clearly does not care about basic safety, hygiene, or accountability not even when their own negligence could seriously harm someone. I ordered a burger at their restaurant and was served meat that was clearly rotten. Halfway through eating, the smell hit me like garbage left to rot in the sun. I nearly vomited at the table. When I complained, the manager refunded the 48 bolivianos for the burger, but didn’t even bother to apologize for serving spoiled food. That tells you everything about their standards. Shortly after, I developed stomach issues and had to go to the pharmacy. Medication cost me 87 bolivianos 39 more than the disgusting excuse for a meal they sold me. Receipt attached. It honestly makes me question whether they knowingly serve questionable food because many guests are drunk and less likely to notice. That is reckless and unacceptable. To make matters worse, when settling my bill they had added a bottle of water I never ordered. When I challenged it, they claimed I ordered it at reception which is impossible since I never returned to reception after check-in until checkout. Be warned: check your bill carefully because they will slip in extra charges. Yes, the dorm itself was comfortable but that is irrelevant when the establishment is willing to risk people’s health and then shrug it off. The complete lack of responsibility from management is shocking. If you value your health, your money, or basic decency, stay and eat somewhere else. Eat and stay at Wild Rover at your own risk.

+ Se podía interactuar con la gente bastante bien
- El recepcionista que me atendió al momento de hacer el Check In fue una persona súper despota al momento de explicar las cosas. Yo pensé que el pago ya se había debitado de mi cuenta pero al final no se había hecho, el recepcionista al ver mi reserva me dijo : Que no ves alli? No has pagado de manera súper despota. Igual le pagué pero creo que debe mejorar su actitud hacia con el huésped.

- The dormitory was very messy and the other guests have no respect. I stayed 3 nights and two of the nights other guests were having sex inside the dorm and also during the night people are coming in and out of the room turning lights on etc...
They overcharge for food you didn’t order, staff are rude and there’s not a single quiet space in the entire hostel. Food is also very mediocre
Volunteers wasn’t really friendly and no nice common areas. Location is okay close to the center.
highly commercialised hostel. Everything works but there is no soul. If you want to get drunk it will definitely work here. But there are no proper spaces to hang around.
We booked a private room and it was basically a shed outside, it was so cold and no where to hang your stuff in the room. The hostels great to meet people but the drinks are watered down and the bar staff don't know how to make the drinks that are on the menu. The food was nice though

Wild rover is a great hostel with central location. Beds are comfortable and clean, and the showers have hot water with great pressure. The service at the hostel is amazing, with very accommodating staff. I have dealt a lot with Will from reception who has been extremely helpful with everything I need. Highly recommend staying at Wild Rover during your trip in La Paz.
Es un hostel súper social pero si es social deberían de tener voluntarios o recepcionistas igual de sociales. Llegué en la noche y la persona que me recibió no me mostró el hoste o me explicó sobre las actividades, solo me llevó a mi habitación. Queda un poco a las afueras del centro, tipo 20 minutos caminando de todo. Tienen un restaurante con buenos precios y buena comida en el bar. Las almohadas son súper duras pero la cama bastante cómoda.

David and Elias at Wolf Rover Hostel are genuinely great at what they do. They create a relaxed, social atmosphere without forcing anything, which makes it easy to meet people and feel comfortable right away. David keeps the energy up and helps get things going, while Elias is more low-key but really attentive and makes sure everyone’s having a good time. It never feels like an act — they’re just solid, friendly people who care about the vibe of the place and the guests staying there. I...
Onaardig personeel, koude/ lauwe douches en het personeel was niet meedenkend. Ze organiseerde koningsdag, maar wilde vervolgens geen nederlandse muziek opzetten. Slaap kan je vergeten, want de muziek en de luide mensen gaan de hele nacht door.

A localização, segurança, limpeza são ótimos! O único ponto negativo é o chuveiro. Eles ficam para fora do quarto numa área aberta, então já é frio por isso, e a ducha não é quente, é morna, estava 10 graus quando estive no hostel e tive que tomar banho morno. No mais é um ótimo hostel. O bar é muito legal!
If your looking for somewhere quite and chill this is not the place to go. Party hostel something on every night great if you want to socialise - downside - if your in the rooms near the bar you’ll get no sleep until past 1am every night (I got told some rooms are a lot quieter) - staff are friendly - security - lots of people from outside the hostel come at weekends, rooms don’t lock - bathrooms are clean, however I only have 1 hot shower in a week. - WiFi is terrible

Wild rover was an amazing hostel, we stayed for over a week and came back again. Will specifically at the front desk was very helpful and kind and went out of his way to make sure we had an amazing stay. Thanks Will!
