Da Lat Mr.Happy Homestay

Was a cute little place, Mr Happy definitely lives up to his name (despite speaking very little English lol), and his son is very helpful. Stayed in a private room which was ok. Comfy bed, but the floors were pretty dirty (couldn’t walk barefoot as feet would get black) and the shower wasn’t great. But the location was awesome and their breakfast was yummy :)

Mr happy was always happy to help. The hostel in general is a bit outdated, our private room was clean enough except for the cockroach that was cutting about. Sit down shower with no shower curtain, meant the toilet was soaking all the time. Not bad place to rest ur head for this price but aye, pretty hump. Was no social at all, we wasn’t sure if there was other people in hostel. We were told breakfast could be had at hostel, one time we tried we were told we couldn’t as he wasn’t ther...

Family dinner here was great, Mr Happy and the staff were very friendly and even sat to eat with us, making friends. Happy water with Mr Happy Senior was a particular highlight. Not much to do in the area but I think that is more just Da Lat in general, can definitely walk to some nice food spots pretty easily though. And don't miss the roof!! It's beautiful up there

Hostel suitable to visit Da Lat. Calm and proposing a large choice of services, also food is great. Staff a bit overwhelmed sometime. Cleanliness could be improved but still this is acceptable. I do recommend..

Le gérant est clairement le point fort de cette auberge. Il fera tout ce qu'il peut pour vous aider ! J'ai eu la chance d'avoir un lit tout de suite en arrivant à 5h du matin. Il m'a aussi organisé une sorte de tour personnalisé à un prix raisonnable. Les espaces communs sont sympas aussi. C'est propre, les draps sont doux et sentent bon. Mais je trouve les dortoirs pas très accueillants au niveau de l'esthétique, de l'espace et de l'intimité car les rideaux ne sont pas terribles.

Mr Happys is a good choice if you would like a more chill atmosphere. The hostel is quite small and we only met one other group staying there. We stayed in a private room as that was all that was left - double beds which was good but the bathroom could do with a bit of refurbishment and there was no toilet roll. Mr Happy is super helpful and kind in booking tours, transport to airport, however this was sometimes hard to say no to as he was quite persistent. Family dinner was good but low turnout

Staff allowed us to check in early post sleeper bus. Staff were very happy and eager to assist in planning activities. Rooms and bathrooms were clean. VERY comfy mattress. Wish the lockers were bigger to fit bag into. Very happy with stay !

We had a pleasant stay at Mr. happy homestay. Mr. Happy is a wonderful host- he is very friendly and helpful, sorting both tours and onwards travel for us. The family dinner was also delicious and sociable. However, the private room we stayed was unfortunately damp and musty resulting in all our belongings needing washed. This didn’t detract from our overall experience here and in the city though.

Mr Happy’s homestay is a lovely place to stay. We found the location quiet and relaxing, which is what we needed. We arrived at 4am due to our bus arriving early and Mr Happy was awake to check us in (we had booked a room for that night). We stayed in one of the private double rooms. The bed was reasonably comfortable, the bathroom had what we needed. No need for a fan or air con because the temperature is a lot cooler in Da Lat. This was a perfect stay for me. Chill and quiet while I was there! My first night was in the dorm and wasn’t able to get a good sleep. The owner was so pleasant and helped me into a private room the next day. They have delicious food here and the tours they helped me book were so fun!!

I felt right at home here. The owner is so kind and helpful with everything. They also have excellent food, and I've practically always eaten there.

Sehr schönes Hostel, das Person war sehr hilfreich. Das Hostel hat alles was man von einem Hostel erwartet.

Had a private room and stayed for 4 nights. I arrived very early in the morning and Mr Happy was kind enough to let me check-in so I can get some sleep. I found myself not venturing elsewhere much to get food because the selection in-house was really delicious. The room I had was very clean, but the shower setup can do with updating at some point. I'm going to give 10/10 because it was the hospitality from Mr Happy's family that I enjoyed the most.

Mr Happy is brilliant. So helpful and accommodating. 100% have the family dinner and also order the chicken curry. Best food. He’s fantastic!

I truly enjoyed my stay at Mr. Happy Homestay. The host made me feel very welcome, and the room was cozy, clean, and peaceful. A perfect place to relax in Da Lat. I would definitely come back.

Best ever Mr happy is the best

i totally loved the place. Mr happy is the nicest host I've met. he even got me 3kg of strawberries from a friend's garden for a reasonable price. the place is a great stay if you want to have more quite but not boring evenings. would definitely come back.

I had a very nice time at this homestay. Mr happy is always available for his guests. he really cares about his guest and makes sure they are enjoying their trip in Dalat. he gave me good advice and helped me in planning my trip in Dalat and also the next journey. I highly recommend this place as you will have a very authentic person there who really cares about you😊.

We had a wonderful stay with Mr Happy. Nothing was too much trouble. He organised an easy rider bike tour of the region taking in so much in 1 day. Highly recommend the noddles, fried rice and banana pancakes. Ginger tea was a delicious home recipe. Linen was clean and there was plenty of hot water. Mr Happy also arranged a sleeper bus which was the nicest we’ve been on. Thanks Mr Happy and Mr Happy Senior!

Really recommend this home stay. Staff were unbelievably helpful, food was great, the room was really nice and had a large choice of activities and trips you could do from the hostel. Also arrived by Sleeper Bus at 5 am and was allowed to check in 7 hours early. Great option in Da Lat

Such a happy stay! Stayed 2 nights in a private room and loved it! Mr. Happy greeted me with tea and even offered to take me for a walk to show me around Dalat. He’s so friendly and makes you feel right at home. The room was clean, comfy, and super cozy. Definitely recommend staying here!

We’re very satisfied with this hostel. The manger was super helpful och super nice. He areged tours and busses aswell. And very good food
