    Good hostel, nice staff. However i got bitten by bed bugs staying in dorm 2, which was also really loud because its next to the street + for restrooms / showers you need to go through the reception and restaurant

    I got bed bugs during my stay… this can happen anywhere, but it’s never happened to me before. A lot of the staff were stand-offish, they warmed up after a couple of days and were working over Christmas, but just not a great first impression. The hostel itself is cool and lovely decorated restaurant etc. The front rooms should not be used as dorms, it’s not fair as people stay up late inevitably making noise and very early in the morning congregate at reception for trips so you don’t rest well.

    AVOID!! BED BUGS!! The staff were so rude, especially at reception if you ever had a question or needed help with something… had bed bugs and they moved me and some others into a different dorm which was defo just spare room for when this happened as the hostel was ‘full’ online - they then put someone into my old infested bed the next day … weird vibe overall as it’s predominantly a restaurant and tours go from 3am so if you’re in one of the dorms by reception you will get woken up a lot

    BEDBUG WARNING!! someone in my dorm got bedbugs here, and the staff didn’t take it seriously at all. they didn’t even tell me until 24 hours later. they then made me feel bad for asking questions and for asking them to wash my clothes. i feel bad giving such a low review but bedbugs is no joke. atmosphere is strange too since it’s in a restaurant. also no hot water.

    The hostel was lovely but has bed bugs right now! Worse than that they put me in a room that they knew had bed bugs which they planned on ‘deep cleaning’ the next day. They ended up moving me to a different room but still let people sleep in the infected room without telling them even though they had spare beds elsewhere. Reception treated us rudely when we asked to move!

    Absolutely terrible hostel. 1. The beds have bed bugs 2. The pool is very unclean it is not maintained 3. They seize your passport and will not give it back until absurd amounts ( which by the way internationally is illegal ) 3. The staff are awful Beware they are big s******s they will say stupid rates like 15% card charge, and add expenses u never bought. He will be subpoenaed in the next 24hrs let’s hope he learns his lesson.

    Stayed here 3 nights and the first two were great. The last night I found a bed bug crawling on me. I took a picture of it and went to reception. Staff and the manager were very rude, unconcerned and unhelpful and seemed to be blaming me. The manager then got very angry saying it was a tick and I was making them look bad. I am a Biologist and this was a bed bug. I also found small round blood stains and carcasses on the bed. Bed bugs were not their fault but the situation VERY poorly.
