I cancelled my booking immediately after making it and still got charged full price, even though it says the rest is pay on arrival (I was expecting to lose my deposit) As I paid for a night but could not go I don't have any positive feedback
Terrible stay. For checking out at 12:05 instead of 12, the cleaning ladies opened my locker and threw my clothes on the floor. When I tried to get my food from the kitchen they brutally forced me out the hostel. In the evening I realised my money and iPod which were in the locker had disappeared, so I tried to go back the next day to talk with them, but they forbade me to go back, using the excuse that I checked out late. Shame I don’t have any proof, otherwise I would have called the police.
the hostel is in a great location but it was so overpriced 35 euro for a shared Dorm is crazy. Also after checkout I was making a sandwich in the kitchen and the lady told 'its already check out that means you have to leave'.I was already checked out and just making something to eat and she wasn't happy about it . I didn't enjoy the vibe at allll. like chill man im just making a sandwich didn't think it was such a big deal. why open a hostel if your going to be rude? I don't get it.
El hostal está en una zona muy buena, con bonitas vistas, cogimos una habitación doble con baño y baño si tenía pero sin ducha, por lo que creo que se debería de especificar, ya que tiene el ícono con ducha a la hora de reservar la habitación. Y por otro lado, la recepción mayormente está sin nadie a excepción de unas cuantas horas por la tarde.
The hostel is in a very good area, with nice views, we took a double room with bathroom and bathroom if it had but no shower, so I think it should be specified, as it has the shower icon when booking the room.
Great location, and I loved they even provided earplugs :-D (which didn’t help but I still appreciate it) Fully equipped kitchen and free coffee/tea is always a plus!

Nice hostel, great views and perfect location. Everything is clean and spacious. Self check-in and basic amenities. Not a social hostel.

Me lo he pasado muy bien en Boogalow. Una sala con hermosas vistas de la playa San Lorenzo, tranquila para leer y desconectar. Camas cómodas y la limpieza es muy buena ya que pasan pilgrims que hacen senderismo. En realidad es un Hostel que da para quedarse varios días. La cocina es un poco pequeña si varias personas quieren cocinar, y un poco ruidosa si pretendéis dormir hasta tarde porque los peregrinos son pesaos de mañana, pero hay café, galletas e infusiones s/límites. Muy buena aten...
I had a great time in Boogalow. A room with beautiful views of San Lorenzo Beach, quiet to read and disconnect. Comfortable beds and cleanliness is very good as hiking pilgrims pass by. Actually it is a Hostel that is good for staying for several days. The kitchen is a little small if several people want to cook, and a little noisy if you pretend to sleep late because pilgrims are heavy in the morning, but there is coffee, cookies and infusions s/limits. Very good attention

One of the most lovely hostels I have ever stayed at! Staff were super friendly and helpful! Room was clean, towel was provided alongside toiletries in ensuite. Fellow travellers walking the Camino so was lovely to socialise. Highly recommend!!
Fantastic location with beautiful views of the ocean. I could sit in the window and watch the surfers all day! Very clean and quiet.
Incredible hostel, one of the most clean, quiet, friendly places I've ever stayed. Location couldn't be more perfect, you can see the ocean from the room!

Incredible view for a hostel
Tolles Hostel. Ich war absolut begeistert. Ein kleines Hostel mit einem tollen Gemeinschaftsraum und wunderschönem Blick auf das Meer. Echt traumhaft. Es war alles sehr sauber. Ich habe mich sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Küche ist toll eingerichtet. Man darf sich sogar Teebeutel nehmen. Ich war in der Nebensaison da. Es könnte sein, dass es in der Hauptsaison in der Küche etwas eng wird, weil es nur zwei Kochfelder gibt.
Great hostel. i was absolutely thrilled. a small hostel with a great common area and beautiful sea view. really traumatic. everything was very clean. i felt very comfortable. the kitchen is great furnished. you can even take tea bags. i was there in the offseason. it could be that in the main room in the kitchen it will be a little messy, because there are only two kochfelder.
El mejor hostal en el que me he hospedado. Personal amable, comunicación sencilla, el lugar increíblemente limpio, vista lindísima. 10/10

Ottimo ostello che si affaccia alla spiaggia. Staffa cortese. Ha tutto per l'igiene personale. Consiglio vivamente

Amazing hostel! The location was ideal - right on the beach and walkable to everything you need. The staff were so kind and helpful and all of the facilities were in pristine condition. Towels, lockers with keys, curtains on the beds, full kitchen, this hostel had it all!
Went there for two nights, ended up booking an extra one cause I just loved the place and the town. The rooms are well equipped and the bathrooms are clean and spacious. The ladies working there were super sweet and helpful and gave me a bunch of recommendations on places/restaurants I could go to while staying in Gijon. 100% will recommend and be going back!

Excellent location, right on the beach front and also very easy to walk into the Old Town and commercial centre. Nice friendly hostel with small but inviting social area and kitchen (with great facilities!). Clean, good lockers in the dorms, the bunk beds are pretty basic. But a good value, friendly hostel overall!
Sehr schönes Hostel direkt am Meer. War alles sehr sauber und der Gemeinschaftsraum und die Küche waren gemütlich eingerichtet und gut ausgestattet.

Super lokalisiert, direkt im Stadtzentrum. Perfekte Kommunikation in englisch sowie in deutsch. Sehr empfehlenswert. Tadellose Ausstattung, es fehlt nichts. Großartig.

I loved this hostel. More of a calm, relaxed vibe than some of the other party hostels out there. Great if you are looking for a place to disconnect. Amazing location, comfortable room. I would definitely return.
