Extremely loud party next door until 2AM the first night and 12AM the next night. So loud that the entire building was thumping. Decibels in 90s so that we couldn't even talk to each other while in the room, as though we were in the nightclub itself... Otherwise, this would have been a lovely place to stay with a fun bar on premises, organized group events including tours leaving from the hostel, walkable to many places, etc.

I paid a fortune to stay in a private room that had an overwhelming smell of mould/damp. I am now very unwell with my chest and lungs. My entire case needs washing as all my clothes are damp to touch and stink of mould. This is going to cost me a lot to wash all my clothes on top of the small fortune I stayed to stay here. Being unwell is effecting my trip. The toilet didn’t flush, and the curtains didn’t close. I reported this and the staff and they did what they could but didn’t solve...

Horrible beds, huge cockroaches everywhere and high humidity inside the dorms, staff very loud in the morning, screaming in the dorm even if you are sleeping, they just don't care, they are not helpful and walk inside the dorms with their shoes full of sand when they ask you not to. No drinkable water available at some hours and no gas to cook at some point. Cold showers... They also got rid of my food that was properly labeled.

Really dislike this place. It’s extremely dirty + the people in my dorm told me my pillowcase wasn’t changed before I came. If you pay $30 for an AC dorm they keep the remote at reception and refuse to turn it on outside of certain hours, even if you tell them you are sick. The staff are rude and unhelpful. They don’t serve food so the bar and restaurant (?) is basically futile most of the time. No social vibe at all except Sunday funday - outside of that, no one sits in the social areas e...

For £17 a night this place is a 100% not worth it. The rooms are run down, our shower, toilet and sink didn’t work the whole 4 day we were there. There was a hole in the roof so whenever it rained the whole floor just got wet. There were slats missing in the beds so I could have fallen through the bed anytime. I’ve been travelling for 4 years now and probs one of the worst hostels I’ve stayed in. Especially for £17 a night. However, the staff were lovely, the common area was good.

Pros: the female staff at the check-in desk were super lovely. Cons: everything else. We booked a 3 bed private "cabin", this is essentially a shed with beds in the parking lot, next to the staffroom. There were no windows, only mesh and some curtains which meant we had no privacy and could hear everything and had constant mosquitos. The secure gates didn't close at 10pm. Bathroom facilities were poor. At one point a male came and peed outside our cabin. Such a shame given the location.

El staff en su day funday es cero amigable y hasta se puede decir homofobicos. No recomendaría este hostal para la comunidad LGBT. Los locales sólo buscan emborrachar chicas rubias con quien acostarse. Muchísimo ruido, al parecer están remodelando. Sólo rescato a una chica en la recepción quien fue muy amable.

Took booking when closed and won’t refund

Hostel shut down by the authorities. Bad communication and still no refund. Avoid !!

Great place to meet people and the events they host are very fun. Dorms are clean so are toilets and facilities. Only gripe is that not all of the dorms have ac even though they say so on the booking so your mileage may vary but other than that it was great!

Good place to stay on Caye Caulker. Female dorm was clean. The staff was friendly and helped with organizing tours.

Ostello con party vibe, quindi con un mega bar che organizza una festa ogni sera e tutte le attività durante il giorno, quindi sicuramente ottimo per fare amicizia. Però essendo un ostello mi aspettavo delle facilities migliori. Le stanze sono minuscole, con dei locker piccoli, i bagni dentro le camerate non sono pulitissimi, non danno gli asciugamani, l’aria condizionata è veramente altissima, quindi fa freddissimo e non c’è modo di controllarla, perché è gestita dalla reception. Bonne auberge, the place to be for party and fun nights while meeting people. However, not the best for comfort and facilities. Overall still good experience

Todo súper bien en Bellas, me ayudaron desde el minuto 1 en que llegué y también con las excursiones que tienen 💕 recomiendo tomar el tour de snorkel con ellos

Booked a private room, as there was no availability left in the dorms a few days in advance. The private room is definitely not worth the price. The 'window' is just some mesh, causing water to leak in when raining, which doesn't dry on the plastic floor, which is not connected and opens up a lot of cracks for insects to crawl through. The curtains don't do anything, so you can't blind out the lights from the property. Had 3 cockroaches running around the room one night. Atmosphere is great thou...

Nice hostel to meet people, especially in the hammock area! A lot of activities. Expect to stay longer than planned ;) R-Jay is a great social host! Definitely recommended

Heard mixed reviews so was skeptical and I think the quality of ur stay does depend on which bed u get (try and ask for a bottom bunk if you can). Showers were good, rooms and kitchen get cleaned everyday and there’s air con on for a while in the mornings and all through the night. Common area out back is class (even if the bar rips u off) decking also has unreal sunsets and the occasional sting ray.

It was a great place to stay and holds up to the expectations, but quite pricey due to its remote location.

Staff were so friendly, I felt very welcome. Drinking water available in the kitchen, microwave etc. Good location on the island. Absolutely no space in the room for bags, it was very crowded. Sheets were a weird synthetic material, bit of a dodgy climb to the top bunk. Aircon only turned on by staff for certain hours so if you were sick during the day (as I had been at my previous accommodation) you'd be absolutely boiling. Was glad to only be staying one night.

I had a good time staying here. The bed I had was very comfortable. There wasn’t an outlet near to where I slept which was a small nuisance but overall very comfortable. Front desk staff were very very helpful. They were very informative and in on the fun and also helped me get change for some larger bank notes to smaller ones. Little things count, would definitely come back again.

Eines der besten Hostel auf der Insel. Viele Touren und soziale Aktivitäten. Das Hostel ist richtig groß, daher verläuft es sich auch etwas. Das dorm war okay, es gab Vorhänge. Was etwas genervt hat ist dass jeder den Matsch und Staub von draußen mit den Schuhen reinträgt. Ansonsten gutes Hostel. Besonders das Personal war sehr freundlich:)

Lovely hostel with the best staff; reception and bar! They run great activities; Sunday funday is soo fun and the full day snorkelling tour that they run was amazing (Captain was Kyle). Rooms very decent. My only warning is to not leave your shoes for too long outside the kitchen or they may get stolen or confused with someone elses (can’t wear shoes in the kitchen)

Sehr gutes Hostel auf Caye Caulker! Die Lage ist top, nahe dem Bootsanleger und The Split. Die Insel ist aber auch klein. Leider kein Frühstück oder Mittagessen, aber eigene Küche. Mitarbeiter sind super freundlich. Zimmerpreise sind gut. Die Ausflüge sind aber sehr teuer, also die Snorkeling Tour (Hostel: 90 USD) besser woanders buchen (ca. 50 USD). Insgesamt viele junge Amerikaner auf der Insel.
