The hostel is so small an crowded, during this heatwave in finland it is impossible to have any acceptable temperature in the rooms. In my room it was not possible to open the window properly, since one bed is standing in the way since there is so little space in the rooms. I really wish a shirt-on rule in all community areas, i felt very uncomfortable with sharing this space with halv naked men who show no respect and take much space. I was avoiding the hostel as much as possible.

Furniture in gathering space is old and flat, kitchen not organized or labeled correctly, and not kept clean, sheet and blanket both had holes. No AC or fans in rooms so it was very stuffy. Only 2 toilets with showers in same locked room for entire hostel. The sink in bathroom leaked every use and it was a major slipping hazard for anyone using the are. Bathrooms were also not clean.No activities or engagement for travelers. Only good thing is location next to tram, metro, and bus stop.

Petit logement relativement bien situé pour un court séjour dans helsinki. Seul bémol, il n'y a pas de limite d'âge, nous nous sommes donc retrouver deux jeunes filles de 24 ans dans un chambre avec deux hommes qui avait le double de notre âge. Cuisine, salon et salle à manger très bien équipé et propre. Par contre les sanitaires moins.

Just very noisy, once you're in your room, you can still follow complete conversations in the kitchen. Overall clean, decent sheets on the bed, beds are abit outdated so you can feel the wooden boards beneath the matress. There are 2 toilets and showers total, so there might be a wait sometimes. It's not a bad place to stay at, but there is place for improvements

I mean, it is not a bad choice but it is a house, the dorms are quite small and then there is always a bit of a struggle with the toilets. Staff is not there the majority of time and when there, are sat by the laptop. There is no effort to make people feel welcomed and connect but it is an acceptable choice

Es ist eine nette Unterkunft, vor allem für Alleinreisende. Das Hostel liegt in einer Art Szeneviertel, vom Zentrum jedoch 35-40 Gehminuten entfernt. Die Betten könnten bequemer/stabiler sein, die Bäder und Küche etwas sauberer (auch wenn die Reisenden auch Verantwortung tragen). Leider waren die Sauna, Waschmaschine und der Balkon abgesperrt/nicht nutzbar. 2 Toiletten und duschen waren teilweise etwas knapp bemessen. Das personal war jedoch immer sehr nett und hilfsbereit!

Staff were lovely. Easily accessible location with a tram stop out the front. Only 2 toilets and showers for the whole place. Room 201 was also quite hot at night, with the windows opening onto a major road they had to stay shut at night. Overall a nice stay :) Also the sauna doesnt work.

Nice quiet hostel with a small amount of kind and chatty guests. The facilities are great, although I found that everything definitely could be cleaner. Location is not too bad. Right next to trams and train stations so easy to catch public transport. Helpful staff at the desk :)

Best hostel in Helsinki:)

The room size kind of small to fit for 6pax within a room and surprising do have another small room to fit for another 2pax. In overall is good! good location, good service from reception, near to town central. Right in-front with public transport. Walking distance to K-Market to buy necessary things. Very much convenience

Sehr sauber und gemütlich! Der host ist sehr nett und die Küche ist auch gut ausgestattet. Im Zimmer gibt es Schließfächer die mit der schlüsselkarte geöffnet werden

Good: friendly, helpful staff; multiple outlets + personal light for each bed; mostly clean bathroom/shower (a bit muddy, but it’s winter); big storage lockers, no outside noise, convient restaurants/supermarkets, bus stop near by Bad: squeaky beds; thin walls, there was a big group of people up late and I could hear everything; a little bit hard to find, about a 10-15 min walk minimum to pretty much everything else

Simply the best hostel in Helsinki. Staff is amazing they’ll take care of you. It’s always clean and peaceful (i stay here alot). Location perfect : metro close, markets and restaurants right next to the place. Rooms are spacious and kitchen and bathrooms work perfectly. Beds and linens are super nice even though they don’t look like it. Love it🥰

Bon Hostel assez bien situé puisqu'un arrêt de bus/tramway se trouve a proximité. Les chambres sont classiques, les lits font un peu de bruit mais on y dort relativement bien. Le personnel est très agréable et souriant !

Nice place, clean sheets and the personell was very friendly and welcoming! A very good place to stay for a weekend!

I enjoyed my stay. This was my first hostel.

Clean and tidy little hostel. The guy who was working there was so friendly and helpful (sorry I don’t know your name!) Location was fine, about a half hour walk down to the centre or close to the metro station. Pretty quiet atmosphere overall. Only two toilets/showers so sometimes a wait, but it’s a small hostel so it wasn’t too long usually, and they were always clean.

Great location to city center and beyond.most buses and some trams stop here as does M 1 and 2. Staff receptive and helpful when asked. There is a bit of mold in the corners of the showers and behind the faucet on the kitchen sink The sauna a bonus

I stayed over a month in all rooms but the female one. On side: Super nice staff. Full-function kitchen. Small home stay vibe. Free coffee (Juhla). Clean, Safe, Close to 24h market, Convenient transport, Silent electric locks Off side: Ventilation not best due to closed terrace after 6pm. Rooms on the street side bit noisy. Little distance to city center. Sounds from kitchen and common area received too well in all rooms. No work area.

SweetDream GuestHouse offers a convenient stay in Helsinki with a well-equipped kitchen and comfortable beds, though they do squeak a bit. The reception staff is available for check-in but leaves early in the day, providing good instructions for everything you need. The location is excellent for exploring Helsinki. One downside is the limited bathroom facilities - just 2 toilets and showers for many guests can create wait times.

Had a great short stay here, beds very comfortable and people were lovely!
