Chill Inn Samui Hostel and Restaurant

Chill in hostel is a welcoming and chill place with very friendly staff. The hostel itself is clean but the beds are a bit hard. Overall I definitely recommend staying here if you want to relax but also meet new people.

Weird vibe. Most reviews are bots. The group chats are bots. A person fainted and was never seen again.

it’s clean and comfortable but the overall vibe is very superficial. not a very nice common area, just a place that they play techno and get drunk. hard to make real connections with people. doesn’t feel homey at all.

Overall, really disappointed. Lost a debit card and someone there has spent £70 on it. Tried to ring them several times and couldn’t get through having gotten through to other Thai numbers. Overall very disappointed.

This was the worst hostel I have ever stayed at. The staff were SO rude, especially the manager. I emailed beforehand asking if I could check in early at 10 and they said yes. When I arrived they said I couldn’t and when I spoke to manager she had such an attitude and was horrible. Weird vibe

The staff was lovely and the rooms were fairly clean. However we were disappointed as we felt the pictures were not representative of the condition. The place felt run down and could use a major refreshment. (Pool deck, chairs, bunks, walls all were in rough shape). The biggest problem was the bathroom. Our entire stay the bathroom felt dirty and smelled awful. We felt the staff should have dedicated more time to cleaning the bathroom since it was always nasty. The hostel was super quiet...

Not a bad hostel but just felt very worn out. Another point is the beds are the most uncomfortable beds I have ever slept on.

Le personnel est très sympa. Cependant, les lits ne sont pas confortables + pas de hausse de couette, pas de rideaux donc pas d’intimité. Les détritus des soirées de la veille traînent encore le lendemain. Je ne recommande pas forcément cet endroit.

Not a great experience here. I booked a 6 bed mixed dorm but got put in an 8 bed one. The dorms are clean and have good AC and lockers. On the first night some drunk guys forced their way in to the dorm thinking it was their own; the door then remained broken (super secure) for the rest of my stay! Breakfast not included also a bummer, and the food was quite expensive. Toilets clean but a bit of a walk away from my room.

Shower cubicles were covered in tiny ants and bugs, smelt like sewers and it was so hot. The pool area and reception smelt like urine. No social atmosphere no one talks. Room was clean and had an individual locker for belongings.

Really calm and a nice place to stay. The staff were super friendly and funny. Also nice that the beach is 2 minutes away from the hostel

Good location and nice pool and pool table outside the rooms, rooms have keycards so feels safe and the bathrooms and showers are nice, the vibe here was not very social but maybe just our experience

Super Hostel, aber Betten sind ziemlich hart. Die Schlafsaalzimmer sind mit Trendwenden in einer 2/4/2 Konfiguration, also auch durchaus Privat.

Really enjoyed my stay here. Love how the bathrooms are separate men and women. Good social vibe and location. staff are really sweet. curtains don’t go all around the bed which is a bit annoying

Je recommande cette auberge !! Elle est calme, bien située (juste en face de la plage) et à côté de restaurants etc. Les chambres sont bien (avec des rideaux pour les mixtes), les douches sont propres. Il est possible de louer un scooter directement avec eux pour 250bath/jour, c’est très simple. Rien à redire

Good stay to chill out, very close to beach restaurants and 7/11 but not much else going on in the area so not party social if that’s what you’re looking for.

Private room was nice in itself but bathroom had some drainage smell issues especially after the rain which made the last two nights a bit icky, and couldn’t close the bathroom window due to smell so the mosquitos all came in! Hostel wasn’t super social during my stay but it was becoming more social on my last night as guests changed over so it was a crowd thing not a hostel thing, though maybe some evening activities at the hostel could help? Staff were helpful and polite :)

I really enjoyed my stay at this hostel. The atmosphere, facilities and the option of 2-bed dorms make it a very comfortable place. It’s a bit far from the center, but it’s only about 15 minutes from Chaweng and if you have a bike it’s actually one of the best options. The nearest beach is only a 4-minute walk away, very chill and relax I really loved my stay here and would definitely recommend it.

Hostel itself was decent, nice pool, rooms were fine beds a bit hard kind of like an air mattress. Showers and toilets seperate to rooms which I prefer. Staff were helpful and went on pub crawl which was decent. Only thing is it is a bit out of the way and can be fairly difficult to get around Ko samui. The area itself was quieter although was very close to a beach.

Really nice hostel with a big pool. There isn’t loads around so having a bike is probably a good idea

+ sehr schöne Lobby mit Pool, Billard & vielen Sofas + viele Toiletten & Duschen + coole Atmosphäre - Touren über Hostel etwas unorganisiert (mehrere Sachen gecancelt/ vergessen) - Essen dort eher teuer

Alles in allem ein super hostel, in dem man auch gut neue Leute kennenlernen kann:)

Prima hostel! Heel fijn zwembad. Je mag geen enkel eten/drinken meenemen van buiten af wat erg ongebruikelijk is voor een hostel. Bedden waren wat hard.

LOVED it here. Very relaxed vibe, not super social or party vibes but if you’re wanting to chill it’s perfect. Communal area is fab and staff were helpful. Showers were fab, beds comfy, great pool and close to the beach. Not in the main town but it’s nice to be away from the chaos in my opinion. There’s some great cafes nearby and it’s across the street from a lovely beach. Can’t fault it here, but if you’re looking for super social party vibes maybe stay in chaweng. :)

Ein sehr cooles Hostel mit einer sehr angenehmen Atmosphäre! Wer will, kann eher entspannen, aber es ist auch super, um Leute kennenzulernen und mit diesen feiern zu sehen! Ganz besonders hervorzuheben ist das Personal! Alle waren super lieb und hilfsbereit! Und ganz besonders Mary - beste Leiterin des Pubcrawls 🤩
