It was good

A lot of potential, but they're ruining it. During the day, the techno music blares so loudly on the terrace that you can't stay there

Despite that the guys on the front desk were the most helpful and kind people ever. I had an horrible experience with the stuff from the bar/restaurant. They were meant and also super disrespectful! I would not recommend staying there. They guys from the bar were making bad comments about others peoples countries, also making fun of the guests

On a serious note do not consider this property for stay. They charge you the token amount and then cancel the booking on their own without the consent and without any intimation. Also they dont refund the token amount even after they have cancelled the rooms.

Don’t book with them if you need some flexibility. I have visited quite a few countries and stayed at many hostels but no one ever asked for an advance payment. I booked this place using Hostelworld and paid the reservation amount that is equivalent to 10-15% of the total cost. And within a few minutes of booking, I received an email to pay 50% of the advance payment. To which I obliged and immediately paid. But for some reason, I had to reschedule my trip, but this person didn't issue a refun...

Way too expensive for what you get. I arrived and spent the first night at the room without AC and was impossible to sleep. The next day I paid extra for an AC room and the AC barely worked (and they turned it off for almost 5 hours per day) so whatever

Le personnel qui fait visiter la chambre aux nouvelles guest à 1h du matin et qui allume la lumière et hurle. et les Guest agissent pareil, ils ne se préoccupent pas du sommeil et de l'intimité des autres en ouvrant les rideaux des lits, touchent mes affaires. lorsque j'en parle à l'accueil du fait qu'ils ont un règlement intérieur qu'ils ne respectent pas, ils s'en foutais et n'étaient pas surpris. bref, Hostel pour les locaux qui sont habitués à ces attitudes apparem...

Owner of the hostel is judgemental. Ruined my experience of varanasi.

Auberge sale, les sanitaires ne sont pas nettoyés (traces de vomi, poils, nourriture, mauvaise odeur etc). Pas de papier toilette. Seulement 2 sanitaires par étage, ce qui n’est pas suffisant. Lit pas très propre. En dortoir, il y a des lits simples ou double. Air conditionné et ventilateur L’auberge est bien située (a côté de Assi Ghat) Personnel aimable et serviable

Don’t stay at this hostel. The staff were unhelpful and rude, the hostel was dirty, we had multiple issues at this hostel and emails have been ignored despite being told they would get back to us - showing how unhelpful they are. The location is okay. Don’t recommend and massively overpriced for what it is.

I enjoyed my stay at this hostel, the staff were nice and friendly, especially the server on the rooftop. Unfortunately the WiFi was completely unusable for the whole time. I also wouldn’t recommend leaving your slippers on the ground floor as advised, since they might get stolen, as happened to me. The staff didn’t seem to care about it.

Very clean hostel, great vibes, good common areas, good location, good food. Genuinely nothing that could be improved about this hostel, and I don’t say that often. The best bit about it was the beds, they had surround curtains, plugs, lights, a shelf and a private fan!

Super close to where everything is happening. Good staff and common area. Shout out to Yash for making the stay comfortable!

The WiFi wasn’t the best in my dorm, but it worked well in the common areas.

Really great hostel. It costs more but considering the social life I got there I was happy I went. The staff were nice to me, and the people I met were so good. Bathrooms were sometimes a bit dirty, but they were regularly cleaned so I was likely just unlucky timing

The good things were some of the staff and people. The bad was, bed bugs, the kitchen food was poor and I felt sick after, the amount of mosquitoes in the common area. The insanely loud speakers that people blast their music on. The disregard of noise respect in the morning. I was woken up every morning back loud talking. Please get better tables with proper chairs, and get a better power supply.

good place, near the ghats and very nice staffs. the showers / bathrooms aren't very good and felt dirty. the wifi is very slow. made some good friends here and would surely return.

Everything is great except the overly loud music on the roof, sometimes difficult to hear the conversation with friends and there should be rules for when guests can be making noise on the roof. Can be very loud after midnight. Early sleepers won’t get a good nights sleep here

Lovely hostel overall with a really friendly and helpful team of staff. Very sociable mix of domestic and international travelers, a nice rooftop common area with a cafe doing good food and serving drinks. Good location A few things to note, the price I was asked to pay when arriving at the hostal was about 10% more than Hostelworld quoted, even though hostelworld says it includes taxes? + they charge 4.5% for card payments. Some construction works downstairs going on but too disruptive.

The best hostel in Varanasi, in a great location, with great guests and even better staff. Yash at the front desk was there at any time to help you out!

+ Female dorm was comfortable, the bathroom could be cleaner. - Reception stuff was not that welcoming and didn’t give me recommendations about Varanasi/tours/boats. - There was a big party on the terrace when I was there (music, loud talking) till late hours. All girls in my dorm were very upset but no one wanted to say anything. Staff should make sure that the noise level is low after 10 PM !!!

Very nice location near Assi Ghat. Staff was friendly and helpful and room clean with all necessary facilities. Sometimes the hostel was a bit loud as was staying next to common area so great place to go and meet new people but not for early night’s sleep. Overall I would recommend for anyone wanting to socialise and explore Varanasi by walk.

Great staff and great social events. Lucky to be there for Diwali to celebrate with the staff.
