Hair on the blanket (so you know it wasnt washed). The shower is difficult to get hot water, if at all. Sketchy neighborhood so staff keeps the door bolted shut and you have to ask to be let in and out. Lots of construction on the street. No enforced quiet hours so very noisy in general. Its cheap for one person, but if its for two just get an AirBnB.

An ideal place to stay in Quito I loved my stay at Hostal La Rosario. The place is impeccably clean, the rooms are comfortable and very well maintained. The location is perfect, just a few blocks from the metro and with easy access to the historic center and other areas of interest. The breakfast is delicious, ideal to start the day with energy. What stands out most is the friendliness of the staff: always willing to help, provide recommendations and make sure you have a good experience.
general is a nice hostel，spaceful，less travelor，nice building and decorated，clean；but no kitchen（even they have kichen facility but no open to customer），noisy truck and motor sound start from the earlier morning every day nearby.
