would not stay here again. dirty and not well maintained. very noisy during the night and sketchy, definitely doesn't feel safe.

They have quiet hours rules after 23 but attend night events at the "bar" (hostel kitchen) which is on the same floor as dorms and keep the music very load until 2am. They also keep the hostel front door wide open so that people come in to have a drink and shout, pretending they are good at singing, which also makes the cold air get inside. Last but not least, the rooms are dirty and they didn't change up my sleeves after the night... not impressed they had bed bugs issues in the past.

At first, when I woke up in the middle of the night getting bitten all over, I thought it was just mosquitoes because the sheets looked clean. But the next morning, I woke up and saw a bedbug crawling on the sheets.

Pretty shit hostel. Does not look like the pictures. Common areas dirty. Room dirty, smelly, garbage looked like it had been left for days. Beds were comfortable. Not really a social vibe at all. Would recommend somewhere else, for sure.

They have a bed bug infestation and use stained/dirty sheets

My towel got stolen from my room, payed for mixed room but only men were sleeping there, room smell was unbearable after second day, leave before because disgusting atmosphere

Just plain horrible

The worst thing about a hostel is when YOU CAN'T SLEEP. Every single night, there is loud music until late because...this is a hostel and A PUBLIC BAR open to anyone from outside! Even with your best earplugs, good luck! Even better, the music starts again early in the morning... I raised the issue with a staff member and asked if they could at least close the two doors that lead from the bar directly to the stairs and rooms. No. And, for the music: "the boss likes it that way". No comments.

Venue is fairly run down, didn’t seem like restrooms were cleaned very often. One day 3rd floor restroom wouldn’t open. Went to the bar one day and guy working would rather flirt with the girl who was sitting at the bar than take customer orders. They did provide shampoo and conditioner and body wash so that gives them a couple rating points.

I stayed at Hostel Fish and found it less than ideal for anyone needing a good night's rest, especially if you have an early flight. The hostel itself has a bar where the music is super loud (especially the bass), making it difficult to sleep. Additionally, the presence of homeless and intoxicated individuals in the vicinity made it feel less comfortable and secure. The toilet was very clean and nice. If you're looking for a quiet, restful place, this might not be the best choice.

The bed was pretty gross I wish I could have brought my own blanket. I would have stayed 2 nights otherwise. Also think staff should clean bathrooms on a regular timed scheduled throughout their shifts.

Excellent staff, clean, hot water, toilet paper, paper towels...well maintained. It's like New Year's Eve Fridays and Saturdays nights..alot of sirens at 2am...outside window..kitchen is under curfew till 7am. Slight inconvenience, but still a very good place to stay .

Nice place, good location, the common bath area was old but clean. However, the bed linen was not nice/didn’t feel clean - and I missed at nice quite place just to sit

First time staying in a hostel and glad Hostel Fish was my first experience. The staff was very friendly and helpful and not once did i feel like anyone was being disrespectful, having an attitude, or in some type of mood. It really is centrally located to everything downtown which is what i liked because i didnt have to uber i just walked to most the places, restaurants and bars i wanted to go to and everything was clean and very home like. Ill never stay anywhere else in Denver again.

Hands down the best hostel in Denver! Such a great vibe with the bar, games, and several common areas. Rooms are well designed and clean, with beds that allow you your own space and privacy. Walking distance to everything downtown as well. Will definitely be back!

The check in policy is unclear, front desk hours are highlighted from 7 AM - 3 AM but check in is at 3pm. Super inconvenient and after waiting multiple hours I finally got to my room to find a bloody towel on my bed. Did they even clean the room in all the time I spent waiting? Who knows.

this was alright, my friend wasn’t able to make it because of a flight cancellation and they refused to refund so that was the first red flag. Then after that I woke up and was really itchy and the spots turned really dark so I’m not sure what exactly bit me but it was honestly really horrible. And I emailed them about it and I felt like they weren’t that sorry, they didn’t even reply after I sent them photos of how dark the spots were. This was the only place I stayed so I know here.

Bed bug infestation confirmed in the map room. Management has known for at least 2 weeks prior to my stay of the issue yet continues to allow people to be housed there. Very disappointing response from management. I wouldn't trust staying at this place, I don't trust management is taking proper precautions. Very risky hostel to stay at for bed bugs.

Nice hostel. Good location, near Unión Station. WiFi is good, I worked remotely one day here.

Great location walking distance to union station. The bed was very comfortable and the bathrooms were clean. The kitchen was very small. No oven, only an induction stove and a small fridge and not many communal areas.
