Terrible experience, completely below expectations, not worth the price we paid. The first night room wasn't even ready by 6:00 PM. The shower was broken, and the staff's attitude was rude. The second night they moved us to a different building that was almost falling apart (broken bathroom fixtures and doors). We paid for a private bathroom, but we found other guests were using it. The room itself was tiny, filthy, and smelled of mold. The manager was terrible. Do not stay at this hostel

Staff very helpful, location good, very very overpriced for the standard of the room: the toilet and shower are in full view of the bed with no door or curtains. We’re used to budget hostels and this would have been ok, except it was 5 times the price of most budget hostels. If you’re looking for the absolute basic bare minimum hostel, this will be fine. Ich hatte ein Privatzimmer gebucht, war aber leider sehr enttäuscht. Das Zimmer war in einem schlechten Zustand und es hat unangenehm gerochen. Die Handseife war offensichtlich mit Wasser verdünnt. Matratze und Kissen waren sehr unbequem und von schlechter Qualität. Mein Zimmer lag direkt unter dem Aufenthaltsraum, sodass ich wirklich jedes Geräusch gehört habe – an erholsamen Schlaf war kaum zu denken. Die Lage ist zwar gut, da man direkt in der Stadt ist. Huge dissapointment. The only decent part of this hostel is the location inside the Medina. We don't mind a hostel as long as its remotely clean which this was not. My bed smelled as if the sheets were not clean and the blankets have not been washed in a week. There were stinking towels hanging in the room that did not belong to anyone. The bathrooms smelled like they haven't been washed in a long time. We had to keep the door closed so it wouldn't smell the dorm up. Do not go here.

Addresses listed incorrectly. It was renovated and made to look nice but has to be awhile ago as hot water in some rooms don't work, broken, faucets are falling off sinks, if your in a private room you can't close your door unless your inside and lock it from the inside. Security is a padlock on the outside. Inconvenient if with others. Never got my change as they didn't have any. Services listed online aren't available. Breakfast was good. But for what I paid it's not worth it.

The safe made me feel unsafe. When I arrived they asked me to write a review. I said I'd write one after I left. They then stood over me and said they'd bring tea so I could write a review. I told them I had dinner plans but they still dallied on giving me the keys and then invited me for dinner with them and again asked to leave a review. when I was leaving they again asked me to write a review. I said I'd do it later but one of the staff got in front of the door and told me to write one now

Did not receive confirmation of booking, pick up from airport to hostel was 3x the amount compared to cab and more than what was in email. On arrival was told price would be more than what was stated originally, and had to be paid in cash even though description said card and had to argue original price. Staff disregarded and was rude to female companion. Only able to talk to one member of staff as other member was confused. The location was great but highly suggest finding other option.

I am actually very surprised that this place has good reviews. I paid for a private room but when I walked into the bathroom, there was a piece of toilet paper, pee, and "dirt" on the toilet. The towels also had stains. I wish I could leave photos as proof. I was originally going to stay for longer but I could barely sleep wondering if the sheets were even clean at this point. The staff was very kind but that is the only positive remark I have for this place.

hamza is the best

Hamza the hostel host is the best! Helped me find my way around the busy city & creates a good vibe at the hostel. This hostel is in a great location not too deep in the souks like other hostels in the area. Ideal location.

Wonderful last minute stay here! After a few days showing friends around Marrakech and Casa, just decided to come here and chill. Was greeted by a a man called Hamza. He offered me tea and made feel welcome and relaxed right away. Great time and I will return. I hope the management reads this about Hamza because he really made it awesome.

I had such an amazing 5 night stay here! It’s a beautiful place! Hamza was amazing from the moment I arrived until the moment I left- breakfast, recommendations, tea, good conversation, etc. It’s in a great location too! So easy to walk everywhere. I will miss Marrakech and Riad Jennah Rouge

A very beautiful hostel, full of kind people who can help with anything you need. The location is in the old medina, but not too much in the centre so it's easy to find. I recommend taking their airport transfer as well, especially if you're arriving late at night (it will save you some stress).
