Bring earplugs if you want to sleep. I recommend not booking excursions (merzouga for example) with them as they don't deliver what they promise, and don't arrive in the early hours of the morning if you don't want to wait outside.
Horrible experience staying here! The first desk staff are rude and the excursions you book with the company is low quality. Everything is a cash grab at this hostel.
This is my second visit to Morocco. This is the worst place we’ve stayed at. And the most expensive. My son used the airport taxi they provided. When I asked how long it will be before the driver picks him up. I was told, angrily: “I will not tell you 5 or 10 minutes, he must just wait as long as it takes” Breakfast was by far the worst of any of the 11 hostels we stayed at. Dry bread, margarine and jam with black pieces in it. No key for the 4 bed dorm room.
the location and cleanliness is acceptable. however, breakfast was very poor but above all, staff was never helpful, not kind at all and sometimes extremely rude (a friend of mine paid for his room but then left one day before. i paid the same days as him and asked to change to his room since no one would loose money and i could be more confortable and they said no. i also asked for a receipt and they said no - in general the vibe was not nice but it's ok if you just want to stay one night)
make the air-conditioning working , in 45 degrees we need to rest in the morning , and the air-conditioning should work
Free breakfast listed but the deny it and try charge you for each day, hostel attracts a much older clientele average age of people in the hostel was 40 and a lot of Moroccans staying. Not locks on doors , bathrooms very basic and regularly out of toliet paper, good location and a decent rooftop and that’s about it, definitely needs more regular cleaning and I would not recommend staying if you are solo as zero atmosphere and just weird vibe overall. They also charge for everything on top.
A 9.1 rating is insane. Location great. Small rooftop great. Thats all. No soap on arrival, no toilet paper 80% of the time rationing it like it’s a luxury, no natural light in rooms, ONE SINK (???) in the bathroom, thin walls and doors (gl getting any peace) can hear anyone talking anywhere in hostel, hard beds, rooms don’t lock, moody receptionist, and to top it all off no social atmosphere and all groups including large groups (gl if you’re solo). Hostel gets a 6 at most on a good day.
This place is not worth 15€ a bed. Doors do not lock, the curtains on the beds aren’t full coverage and breakfast doesn’t start till 8:15am. We booked this because it was cheap and it definitely was. The beds were VERY hard, almost like sleeping on plywood, plus it being very cold. Only one sink in a crowded bathroom area, overall I would not recommend this place to anyone, even study abroad students
This place worked for only needing to stay one night. They were not transparent about taxi service fees. The hostel was noisy and uncomfortable with the room being right off the entrance with open windows. Would not stay here again
Por el precio no esta tan mal, pero la puerta de la habitación es insoportablemente ruidosa y nos toco una cama con una ventana a un espacio común que no se podia cerrar por completo. El chico de recepción fue amable pero las otras dos chicas no. De hecho hay que pedir papel higienico porque se acaba a cada rato y nos hicieron un problema por pedir papel (??? , sumado a que quisimos usar un baño de abajo porque hay uno solo para todo el piso y no nos dejaron! Mal descanso y desayuno muy bas...
The price is not so bad, but the door to the room is unbearably noisy and we touch a bed with a window to a common space that could not be completely closed. the receptionist was kind but the other two girls were not. in fact we have to order toilet paper because it runs out every time and we were made a problem for asking for paper (??? , plus we wanted to use a bathroom downstairs because there is only one for the whole floor and they did not let us! poor rest and very basic breakfast

I just ask em about shower towel, they say if I need one, I should pay for it 😔 like 2€. That's not right any hostel I went before they never say something like this they ask me I need more....
Faycal was a great host. Great place to stay. Nice small Riad with a nice rooftop. He organised a wonderful 3 day tour of the desert for €85, while other people on the bus were paying 4 to 5 times more. Well worth staying here

Very nice, social and well-managed hostel.
Lovely hostel directly in the middel of the centre. The people working there were super nice and we would always choose this hostel if we ever come back to Marrakech!
Auberge bien située (place Jemaa el Fna), mais ambiance "hôtel peu cher", plutôt qu'auberge avec un partage entre guests. La terrasse est superbe, les lits sont ok mais les chambres petites. Il n'y avait jamais de papier toilette.
Hostel well located (Jemaa el Fna square), but the ambiance is "cheap hotel", rather than a hostel with a sharing between guests.The terrace is superb, the beds are ok but the rooms are small.There was never toilet paper.
The location was really nice and the facilities were fine. The beds however do not have full curtains so there was a lot of light coming in from the other beds when they turned on any lights. My room was also right next to the lobby so i could hear all the noise from people there. I also didn’t really meet any other people during my stay here. If you value a good location, I would recommend it. However, if you are looking to have a good nights sleep or a social hostel, this is not it.

Wir hatten einen tollen Aufenthalt. Die Unterkunft ist perfekt gelegen, sehr zentral, aber trotzdem nicht in den verwinkelten Teilen der Medina, man kann sich gut orientieren. Die Betreiber und Mitarbeiter sind sehr freundlich. Das Frühstück ist nicht besonders umfangreich aber liebevoll und lecker, außerdem kann man sich damit auf die Dachterrasse setzen. Wir haben uns sehr sicher gefühlt. Kartenzahlung wird akzeptiert. Einziger Minuspunkt ist die Luft in den Schlafsäälen + Sauberkeit des...
We had a great stay. The accommodation is perfectly located, very central, but still not in the twisted parts of the Medina, you can orient yourself well. The operators and staff are very friendly. The breakfast is not particularly extensive but loving and delicious, besides you can sit on the roof terrace with it. We felt very safe. Card payment is accepted. The only minus point is the air in the sleeping rooms + Cleanliness of the bathroom.
So calm and on a really lovely lane in the media, super clean, lovely staff - would stay again. Shukran bezaf!
it’s a very nice place to stay for a couple days in marrakech and the staff are very friendly, they even gave us a breakfast to go when we had to leave really early. it’s not a fancy place, but it’s clean, safe, has a fantastic location and you can meet nice people there.

My first time in a hostel as a solo traveller. I stayed in the female dorm and felt so safe, the atmosphere is very calm and respectful. There is always somebody on reception and there is CCTV of inside and outside the premises. Staff were so kind and helpful. Short walk to the souks and main square and there is a great jazz bar next door. The tea, coffee and breakfast that were provided were good. The staff offer lots of guidance about your visit and seem to prioritise safety. Thank you!
Not worth the 15€, the bed was super hard and the bathroom is very crowded for those who do the 7am desert excursion. Plus we had to leave at 3am for a flight, and we were locked into the hostel, no warning. Luckily the owner sleeps on the couch there so we woke him up, but it was unaware the main door 2as locked from the inside. No locks on the bedroom door and you can hear every noise coming from outside. Pretty cold room and the lockers need a key from reception, can’t attach a lock to it...

Perfect place for a short stay in the city! I only stayed one night, so I can't say too much about the place, but it was perfect for a short stay in the old part of the city and perfectly located to catch the bus to the airport without having to take a taxi. Breakfast was included, which I think is really good for the price you pay!
