Receptionist was rude, hard to find, full of older male guests who seem to stay long term. I left after 1 night when I was meant to stay 5 nights. Didn’t feel safe as a solo female traveller

Jemand hatte in einer Bewertung erwähnt, dass es ein bisschen aussieht wie im Gefängnis und jetzt können wir das definitiv nachvollziehen. Es ist oke für ein paar Nächte hier unterzukommen aber es ist sehr laut und schlafen dann ehr schwierig. Unsere Decke hatte am Anfang einen Fleck, was zum Glück aber schnell behoben wurde. Die Bäder waren sauber aber es roch stark nach Zigaretten.
Someone had mentioned in a review that it looks a bit like a prison and now we can definitely understand that. it's okay to stay here for a few nights but it's very noisy and sleeping then ehr difficult. our ceiling had a spot at the beginning, which was fortunately but quickly fixed. the bedrooms were clean but it smelled strongly of cigarettes.
Location sicuramente molto semplice, minimal. Ho preso una camera doppia con un'amica per un evento musicale: l'alloggio ha il vantaggio di essere in zona molto centrale, ma per essere un ostello è sicuramente un posto "poco vivo", il che può essere sicuramente un vantaggio per chi cerca un posto tranquillo. I rented a double room with a friend for a musical event: the accommodation has the advantage of being in a very central area, but for being a hostel it is definitely a "little lively" place, which can definitely be an advantage for those looking for a quiet place. spaces in the rooms more than satisfactory, unfortunately however the rooms are very poorly insulated from external noise (you feel people passing in the corridors almost as if you didn't have a door:')
Tener en cuenta que es un hostal y no hay personal en la recepción a la noche. Por un problema con un huésped no se pudo dormir hasta las 3 de la mañana. La ubicación es Excelente y es muy limpio.
Please note that this is a hostel and there is no staff at the reception at night. due to a problem with a guest we could not sleep until 3 am. the location is excellent and it is very clean.
Cumple la función para dormir y usar el baño, no es nada lujoso, muy simple pero funcional. Las camas no fueron mi cosa favorita pero todo bien y también puede ser un poco ruidoso. Debo decir que la ubicación es muy céntrica y puedes caminar a muchos lugares emblemáticos así que eso me encantó.
It fulfills the function of sleeping and using the bathroom, it's nothing fancy, very simple but functional. the beds were not my favorite thing but all right and it can also be a little noisy. i must say the location is very central and you can walk to many iconic places so i loved that.

Hemos tenido una buena estancia en este hostal. La ubicación era perfecta, personal amable y era bastante limpio. La habitación era espaciosa y la cama cómoda. Tuvimos una habitacio que daba a la calle y habia mucho ruido. Esto no es culpa del hostal pero las personas sensibles lo deberian tener en cuenta.
We had a good stay in this hostel. The location was perfect, the staff friendly and it was quite clean. The room was spacious and the bed comfortable. We had a room that looked out onto the street and there was a lot of noise. This is not the hostel's fault but sensitive people should take this into account.
Los precios en Madrid han subido muchísimo, por lo que pagamos ha sido una buena experiencia, aunque algo a mejorar sería la ropa de cama, ya que las sábanas eran muy finas de haber sido muy usadas durante años (en nuestro caso, aunque limpias, llenas de manchas de lo que parecían "restos de fluidos orgánicos"). Invertir en unos edredones normalitos no estaría mal. La contraventana de madera no cerraba del todo y entraba luz. La calefacción central a primeros de noviembre no estaba funci...
Prices in Madrid have gone up a lot, so what we paid for it was a good experience, although something to improve would be the bedding, since the sheets were very fine after being used for years (in our case, although clean, full of stains of what looked like "organic fluid residues"). investing in some normal blankets would not be bad. the wooden shutter did not close at all and interfered with the light. the central heating in early November was not working.

The location is perfect! You are right in the heart of everything - historic landmarks, great food spots, and shopping are all just steps away. There are also several metro lines nearby, making it very convenient. The hostel is clean and situated in a truly beautiful historical building. The only downside is the lack of soundproofing between the rooms and the hallway. However, it didn't bother us during our stay as it was very quiet. I highly recommend this hostel to anyone looking
Nos alojamos dos noches en este hostal en Chueca y la experiencia fue muy buena. Ubicación excelente, cerca del metro Gran Vía, rodeado de bares, tiendas y con un supermercado justo enfrente. Habitación doble con dos camas y baño compartido, tranquila y con buena calefacción, TV y pequeña nevera. El personal fue muy amable y nos guardaron las mochilas a la llegada y a la salida. Ideal para unos días en Madrid.
We stayed two nights in this hostel in Chueca and the experience was very good. Excellent location, close to the metro Gran Vía, surrounded by bars, shops and with a supermarket right in front. Double room with two beds and shared bathroom, quiet and with good heating, TV and small fridge. The staff was very friendly and kept our backpacks on arrival and departure. Ideal for a few days in Madrid.

El hostal está muy bien ubicado entre 2 estaciones de metro que conectan bien con distintos puntos de interés, la habitación era amplia y tenía un brigobar, ademas de acceso a microondas en zona común. Me guardaron las maletas después del checkout sin costo adicional. Muy conforme.
The hostel is very well located between 2 metro stations that connect well with different points of interest, the room was spacious and had a bar, plus access to microwave in common area. they put my bags after checkout at no extra cost. very compliant.

No shared room so more of a calm hostel, which we appreciated for our purposes. I would recommend if it’s the vibe you’re looking for. Also good location!

Pros: Right near city center. You can walk to Puerto del Sol, Plaza Mayor, museums, food halls by metro/bus/uber/taxis. Male staff, informative & direct when you ask questions. (People in Spain may come off rude cause they are very direct when asking questions & getting answers, so for those that never been there… people are not rude.. they are just direct). Hostal Miralva was perfect, Indeed the location was super central, literally one street away from Gran Via . The room was clean and silent and the staff helpful. We recommend !
La ubicación del hotel es muy buena, cerca de todo lo necesario para disfrutar. El personal fue muy amable y atento, siempre dispuestos a ayudar. La limpieza estuvo bien, todo en orden y cómodo. Definitivamente lo recomiendo y volvería a elegirlo.
The location of the hotel is very good, close to everything necessary to enjoy. the staff was very friendly and attentive, always willing to help. the cleaning was good, everything was in order and comfortable. i definitely recommend it and would choose it again.

HOW TO GET THERE: for those who are unfamiliar with European building set ups, the bottom floor is 0. Go up one floor. From the staircase or elevator, the hostel is on the left. Ring the doorbell. You can ring at the building entrance too, but they might not explain it. Great place, but direction would be helpful.

Excellent option in the center of Madrid.
Beautiful building, extremely clean rooms and bathrooms, friendly staff and good value for private room in the centre of the city. Would 100% recommend. Only drawback would be limited kitchen facilities - only microwave available. Also walls were a bit thin so could hear other guests but its not a party hostel so everyone was reasonably quiet and respected the quiet hours after 10PM.
