Bare Hill Holiday Village

+ I recently stayed at Bare Hill Holiday Apartments in Kyrenia. While the owner was very helpful and welcoming, the experience was somewhat disappointing. The location and surroundings are absolutely perfect — peaceful, scenic, and full of potential. With just a little investment in maintenance and cleanliness, the owner could truly turn this place into a small paradise.

- The bathroom was not properly cleaned, the soap dispenser was empty, and there was hardly any hot water. The tap was very old and rusty, which made using the sink unpleasant. Despite booking and paying for a double bed, I was given two single beds instead. I did not complain though as it was just to sleep for few hours until we continue our road trip.

- В простыне была с дырка. В комноте небыло предусмотрен чай и вода. Обычно в отелях такого уровня чай и вода для питья всегда бывает.

+ Der Preis ist okay. Man kann von da einige Regionen gut erkunden. Im Hintergrund das Gebirge z.B. Gute Möglichkeiten zum Essen und Trinken sind in der Nähe und nach Girne ist es nicht weit… mit einem Dolmusch auch preiswert. Zimmer und Anlage waren sauber.

- Liegt für meine Begriffe zu nah an der Fernverkehrsstraße… man hat selbst abends beim Einschlafen ein gewisses Grundgeräusch im Hintergrund. Toilettenspülung ist ein allgemeines Problem in Zyperns Norden, so auch hier.

+ Staff is kind. Spacious room The pool is a plus The price is lower rather than other hotels in zone Close to the beach but they dont have their own beach, you have to walk 5 min

- Old furniture. They Don’t have restaurant. To go to beach you need to walk on the highway which could be dangerous. Even if the beach was so close, in 5 min.

+ Staff amazingly friendly & helpful Ultra clean, changed towels etc every other day Lovely pool & garden area Ali & Jemal owners very welcoming

- Taps, shower etc Dated and need replacing to get more water flow Would be good to have newer cutlery and basic items to serve drinks, food.

+ Die Gastgeber sind sehr zuvorkommend. Jeden zweiten Tag wurde kurz das Zimmer geputzt und es gab neue Tücher. Die Aussicht zum Meer wie auch auf die Berge ist herrlich. Die Küche ist mit dem nötigsten Ausgestattet (zum kochen müsste Gas gekauft werden, hat sonst keine Kochmöglichkeit, aber einen Kühlschrank und Geschirr)

- Es ist relativ ringhörig. Die Hauptstrasse ist vor dem Hotel und man hört den Verkehr relativ gut. Mich persönlich hat es jetzt nicht gestört da ich es auch wusste. Wer aber eine sehr ruhige Ecke möchte, muss eventuell ein wenig Kompromisse eingehen.

+ Отличное местоположение. Красивая зеленая территория. Красивые и уютные виллы на четверых. Удобно для детей, что выходишь и сразу в саду зеленом оказываешься. Бассейн классный. Есть мини бар и завтраки за доп плату. Персонал всегда готов помочь и оперативно исправить недочеты. Дорога не мешала. В целом отдых понравился. Спасибо!

- Больше внимания уделить чистоте в стандартных номерах. Больше ассортимент коктейлей хотелось бы видеть в баре.

+ From the minute we stepped into the hotel, we had a warm welcome and had 5 star treatment from Ali and Cemal. We were made to feel so comfortable, it felt like we were with family. We only had a 2 night break at the property but I'll definitely be going back. We had a lovely view from the balcony and the room was clean and comfortable.

+ Very beautiful big green territory with the smell of jasmine, clean big pool with the kids area as well, spacious room (basic but clean). A/C worked fine, spent so many evenings on the terrace with such a vacation vibe view (room 13) ❤️ for 2* it’s an amazing hotel, location is also fine - right across there is the Escape beach

- July is the month of cicadas, they are very loud but you get used to this sound tho.
