Scammed us into paying an extra night we were told we’d be refunded for after check out and then of course told not. Sewer flies in rooms and toilet leak across ground floor. Staff were perfectly nice while there, but after being essentially scammed I am leaving my first negative review of anything ever.

There was no hot water for three days, because they had no gas. I finally could take a hot shower on my third night here. When hot water is back, there is another problem - no wifi since yesterday midnight. The reception lady with glasses and curly hair always seems like that's not a problem when I asked about hot water and wifi.

Location is okay - in the Candelaria. The area isn't great. Not many places close by to eat at night. Facilites are okay but not great either. Sauna is not used, bar is barely manned. There is no atmosphere. Room and property nice and clean though.

I wanted to give them a hire rating but I'm disappointed with a lot and don't feel my expectations were met from other reviews. Its about $135/night usd, for that price we had no hot water for 2 nights, and the staff was aware. I think that's commonplace for them. Also I would never think of this place as a hostel environment, it's a hotel with a lobby. The area is in the southend, be sure that's where you want to be as the area closes rather early around 830pm. Its a rough area, but okay.

Never left a bad review before, but today I was kicked out a day early, after having confirmed my extension at reception multiple times. Highly unprofessional and annoying when I have a flight tomorrow and many hostels nearby seem to be also fully booked. Didn’t receive an apology for their mistake either.

I picked this hostel especially because the bio said they have nice warm showers. I got there and my shower was freezing. Also had an issue with a blocked toilet. Beds were lovely though.

I loved my time at Casa Dreamer. Very kind staff and beautiful environment.

Beautiful place with a social and homely vibe. The only problem was mould in the en suite bathroom of the 6 bed female dorm, made the whole dorm smell slightly of mould. Other than that I really liked the place

The hostel is nice but not very social. It’s a good place to recharge, especially at the end of a trip – the sauna was great. Cleanliness was okay but not detail-oriented (dust on the bedside and plasters stuck to the bed frame). Staff were friendly. Laundry service was disappointing: clothes came back wrinkled, partly moist and unfolded despite the high price. I wouldn’t recommend using it.

Karen is super cool. I don't think the rest of staff was interested in a paycheck. The rooms even the dorms are super luxury. It's quiet, there's heat...I will say the shower only ran hot for 60 seconds. It nice because they have soaps and conditioners in the bathroom that smell very nice and clean. One of their icecubes burned my throat...perhaps that's why they choose skulls for the ice tray? I could think of better ways to die but...

PRO: price, location, staff. Everyone was very nice, amazing location, and very affordable. CONS: if you have respiratory issues - you may have a bad time. Not a lot of airflow, so very stuffy. Triggers asthma, elevation makes it harder to feel better. There seems to be a damp mold smell that also triggers asthma. If you don’t have asthma or sensitivity to elevation or allergens - you’ll be fine.

This hostel is absolutely amazing value, it has the comfiest beds and cosiest rooms. It feels extremely clean and calming. They have a fire pit area with book exchange! The staff are lovely, they gave me a great welcome drink, and the location is ideal. This is the best place to stay in Bogota! The only down side was hearing the music from the nearby bars on Saturday night, earplugs make it ok.

Location is great, very clean, pleasant hostel to spend time in. There were some plumbing issues whilst I stayed so I would check whether these have been resolved before you book, also the staff were quite unhelpful when I needed help with my booking. That said, the rooms are nice and it’s pretty good value for money

I had such a great stay at this hostel as my first stop in Colombia. I highly recommend this hostel if you want a quiet place to land, good beds, good food, good service and still some social low key vibe. beds are extremely comfortable, everything is clean, there is a lot of common places to chill and the staff is extra nice. I met a few cool people and we had a great night out. Some rooms are just a little stuffy but other than this nothing to stay. Thanks for the entire team for a great stay!

Gorgeous hostel. Had more of a hotel vibe which was pleasantly surprising. I got upgraded to a private room and it was really clean and cosy. The breakfast was also really nice. The only downside is the spiral staircase might be a bit dangerous at times. Extended my stay by one more night because I enjoyed it so much. Also has a sauna which is a nice touch.

We really enjoyed our stay here, the staff were really helpful and friendly with anything we needed. Super quick laundry service which was great, lovely breakfast.

The location can feel sketchy at night in the neighborhood outside but it is centrally located to Monserrat and the Gold museum. The staff were incredibly attentive. The sauna experience in a hostel was worthwhile! Bar area was impressive but empty on the night I stayed. Bedrooms were very clean and charming.

Very nice, classy and chill hostel. I loved the beds! There were not many people when I was there but it was Perfect to have a nice rest. The staff is very helpful and very friendly!

This hostel is really really great! The beds are comfortable, the lobby is very pretty, the bathrooms aber spacious and nice and it‘s in a great location for exploring candelaria. I would definitely recommend this place for a trip to Bogota.

Great location in the right neighbourhood for tourists, staff is super kind, many relax spaces to wind down after a day of exploring, beds are amazing, really good bathrooms too, and the best part is the sauna that is available for guests!!

The Ritz Carlton of hostels. Note there’s no kitchen for preparing your own food. The laundry service is wash and dry only—no fold. But all in all, this was a very comfortable, high quality hostel.

Quite possibly the best hostel in South America. The place itself is absolutely gorgeous, extremely clean and all the facilities are in great condition. The staff is very friendly but I must say that it’s definitely not social. The value for money is crazy here and I would definitely stay again!
