Las Aguas Experience

Very strange vibe at this hostel - only enjoyable if you’re into DMT or ayahuasca. Staff seemed constantly high, and the place smelled like weed. Evening ceremonies took over communal areas, which we weren’t told about, and we couldn’t use facilities until 9am. Loud chanting and vomiting went on all night, waking us repeatedly. Reception was rarely staffed, and we even found someone else’s socks. Hot shower, though.

Chambre sale, aucunes portes ne se ferment (principale et salle de bain), aucune ambiance, pas d insonorisation. Le seul point positif est l’emplacement et le personnel.

My room was super dirty with hairs in the shower/ceiling, water leaking from the sink on the floor and when I asked them to fix it, it never happened, just excuses for two days. Shower was warm and good pressure. Location is good in Candelaria, but on the outskirts, didn’t feel safe walking home alone late, as it’s very quiet for the last two blocks. The dorm room and the bathroom was disgustingly dirty. The power in my bunk did not work.

The kitchen in the Apartment wasn’t working the room smelled really moldy and the owner was pretty weird. The Hostel was pretty empty and the vibe was not existent. In General it was really nosy and sometimes someone was watching porn on max volume. I would not book it again!

It doesn’t worth the price .Not good,not recommend.

Considering how high of a rating this place has I wanted to leave a more accurate review. You could never find someone at the front desk and always had to text and wait quite awhile to get service. The rooms were small and had many faults. The bed are poor quality and have no padding in the middle. The boards under the bed were broken and the bed sagged. There were multiple curtains that’s didn’t close around the bed. The bathroom door didn’t lock. I would not recommend this hostel.

The hostel could be great but somehow it’s missed out on creating a communal vibe. The common spaces have been made more into a meditation area and meditation music is on from 7:30am to 10pm at a volume you can even hear in your room.

I was really disappointed first and foremost by the cleanliness of this hostel. The rooms were not clean, I wasn’t confident the sheets were clean and the shower in the bathroom was blocked with hair. I feel if you’re having a setup of kitchen and bathroom in the dorm rooms, both facilities must be kept spotless and the toilet bin must be emptied every day. It’s a shame as the staff were lovely and the terrace was nice but I really think the rooms need to be cleaner.

Great place, great location. Stayed in a private room which was clean and nice enough, your standard hostel I’d say. Community kitchen could be cleaned more often. Staff was great though, always helpful, and they’re doing great work working with locals and creating really wonderful experiences. If you have the opportunity to go on an excursion with Sergio, you won’t regret it. Great guy, great energy, and knows the history of where you’re going which is lovely.

Great spot. Sergio and the Las Aguas team made me feel at home. The facilities and service was top tier. The lockers are big enough to hold my bags, several common areas to relax, and each room has a decent kitchen. The only drawback is the beds. They all have a dip in the middle making sleep less than ideal. The location is safe. I felt safe walking around the area at night.

I loved the property. I booked a private room, and it was clean, and the shower was hot. Sergio is an excellent host!

Great hostel in a lovely area. We stayed in a private room which had brilliant facilities, hot showers! And a very comfy bed. The hostel also has a gym, sauna and meditation area which we loved. Definitely recommend!

Very nice hostel. stay there for 12 days, people are friendly, there is kitchen with cutlery and hot waterfor bathing. There's even a free gym for some exercise. Comfortable social are as well.

Quartier sympa, salle de sport, sauna, cuisine, télé et wifi à disposition! Je recommande

Es ist nicht perfekt, aber sie arbeiten daran. Ich habe meinen geplanten Aufenthalt verlängert und werde wieder kommen. Ich denke das ist Empfehlung genug.

The vibe was of, the stuff was fighting one night really loudly, they were smoking weed and probably other stuff and you can hear almost anything, the walls areare like paper. In our room we found a bah of half eaten chips in the wardrobe along with loads of hair :/ For the price and the good location it was still ok, but would definitely not come back

It was a really nice hostel in the heart of Getsemani, be warned the 2 flights of stairs to get up, a pretty expensive hostel breakfast and the missing city road and exposed pipes upfront, hopefully city will fix this up soon

I had a private room with a small kitchen and bathroom, which was great. Hot water and shower worked well. The environment is basic, there is a shared kitchen for guests, but the fridge is closed for guests - confusing. WiFi was great everywhere and the location is okay – the last 1–2 blocks are a bit empty, but I never felt unsafe. Sauna is basic but really nice, plus a small gym and a meditation/yoga room. Overall, I’m happy with my stay ☺️

Logement bien situé avec plein de service dedans par contre il n’y a pas d’ambiance d auberge de jeunesse. C’est très calme et les chambres ont vieilli par rapports aux photos. Petit truc bizarre aussi: la porte dedans la chambre ne se ferme pas à clefs donc c’est dommage . Sinon l’auberge est cool

Friendly staff. Loved the sauna as well as the rooftop. Located close to lots of restaurants and bars.

Les lits sont spacieux et offre pas mal d’intimité (bien que les matelas soit un peu usés. Les espaces communs sont bien aménagés, beaucoup de services associés pour le prix. Les activités organisé sont bien choisies

Amazing stay! If you're in Bogotá to explore, stay here. The location is perfect and the vibe is unmatched. Big shoutout to Sergio, the manager—he’s a legend with great energy and is incredibly helpful. Also, having a kitchen right in the room was a game-changer for my stay. It’s the perfect mix of a social atmosphere and the comforts of an apartment. Highly recommend!

I really liked the Hostel! It was clean and the rooms and social areas were really nice. The staff especially Sergio were really nice and helpful at all times. I would definitely come again.
