1. No warm (or even luke warm!) water in the shower. Every day we took a freezing cold shower. The owners told us to just let it run but that didn’t help. 2. Moved our stuff around and they our stuff out. The daily cleaning moved our stuff around, took things out of our bags and even threw stuff like our snacks out. Walking distance to the beach. Not much to do and not much of an atmosphere.

This place has potential pending a bit of an attitude adjustment from the owners. I understand the "homey" feel they are going for, but that doesn't mean the hostel is your house, and you still need to be considerate of your guests (i.e. not blasting your own industrial techno music at 1pm in the afternoon). The actual space and facilities are nice.

Das Hostel liegt mit dem Auto 10 Minuten von Stadtzentrum entfernt, man muss sich also darauf einstellen, dass man zu Fuß nicht gut in die Stadt kommt. Dafür liegt das Hostel nur 5 Minuten von Strand entfernt. Unser Badezimmer war direkt im Schlafsaal und es gibt keine Tür zum Bad. Man kann nicht abschließen und hört alles aus dem Bad. Mehrmals waren die Hotelbesitzer einfach nicht da und die Tür stand trotzdem weit offen, sodass jeder einfach reinkommen konnte, wir haben uns deshalb nicht...

Cute family hostel, chill and familiar vibe. Privacy is questionable though since the door of the room cannot be closed and the owner came in a few times without waiting after knocking. Lovely food en cute swimming pool in front of the house with relaxing facilities. Close to the beach for summer times and short Grab ride to the city centre.

Lam is so lovely! We were unlucky with the weather so we didn’t get the full experience here but was still nice to stay. Around 5-10 min walk to the restaurants and beach.

The volunteer, Inbar, was including and helpful, socializing in the evening and being helpful with recommendations based on what I was looking for on any given day. The owner is a great guy as well. Highly recommend coming here if you want to get away from the more frantic city center and have the beach within walking distance instead.

This was our favourite accommodation in Vietnam! We loved the friendly vibe of the homestay and the location is so peaceful and welcoming. Taking grabs into the city isn’t too bad. The beach is very nice!

Lovely hostel, was quiet when I went but that’s what I wanted. Staff are lovely, rooms are clean & close to the beach!

A place that is a home! Amazing atmosphere, great location, great breakfast, great kitchen if you wanna make something for yourself, chill family vibe :) VERY clean! We stayed for over a week and they made sure to renew our sheets and towels every few days! Martin and Lan the owners are the coolest and gives the place the homey feeling the it has

Loved Nalani hostel! Lan & Martin are great hosts and we felt instantly at home here. They have a WhatsApp group where people share recommendations and you can ask questions in. It's so close to the beach, there's a pool and breakfast is included! I highly recommend!!

My best stay and experience in Hoi An. Both Martin and Lan are amazing and make everything smooth for you during the stay. Also very close to the beach and the property is beautiful, green and has all the amentites you would need including snacks.

Nalani homestay is a perfect place to stay in Hoi An, close to the beach so it the area really has a great vibe and still only 5 minutes away by bike from the old part of Hoi An, a great place to relax for a bit. The owners are really great and will make you feel right at home!

Super clean, cozy hostel with a really chill social vibe. It’s close to the beach, which makes it a nice break from the busy Old Town. Such a good spot to unwind after traveling for a while , it honestly feels a bit like home. Lan and Martin are wonderful hosts, always around if you need anything or want recommendations. Breakfast is included and tasty , and the pool is lovely . Met some great people during my stay too. Thanks for everything . I’d definitely come back !

This is an excellent hostel. It is very clean, the staff are truly excellent and go out of their way to make your stay better. While the location is outside central Hoi An, this is a good thing, it's very peaceful at night and you have easy access to the beach. The hostel gate is locked at night (you will get the code) and each room has a key. You have space to be social if you want to but it isn't forced.

Where do I even start? Nalani Hostel is not just a place to stay, it truly feels like home from the moment you arrive. The atmosphere, the people, and the location make this hostel something special and unique. Lan, the owner, is incredibly kind, helpful, and always ready with a smile. The entire place is spotless, cleaned to perfection every day, and the breakfast is absolutely delicious. The location is perfect too, just a 4-minute walk to the beach

Staying in this hostel was the highlight of my time in Hoi An!! so close to the beach, which isn't as crowded as the main beach, the staff were incredibly kind, helpful and just great to be around, 10000% recommend if you want to be a short grab from the Old town but not in the chaos. Will definitely be going back if I'm back in Hoi An!! Thank you guys!!

My favourite hostel I've stayed in Vietnam so far! Very relaxed atmosphere and the people running it are extremely helpful and friendly. Really nice hostel would highly recommend.

great place

Everything was just perfect. The location, just meters from the beach and minutes from downtown, is ideal. Everything was clean, the beds spacious and comfortable, the breakfast had several very good options, and the vibe was relaxed and friendly. Martin and Lan are the best part, they are wonderful hosts

Goed hostel met een fijne locatie in old town. Alles was goed geregeld en schoon! Personeel was ook erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Het was niet super sociaal gezien ze niet echt een gemeenschappelijke plek hebben om te chillen naast de ontbijtzaal. Maar het was wel op loopafstand van alle leuke barretjes. Aanrader als je een rustig hostel wil maar wel in old town wil zitten
